I had a decent cut a few months ago. It was time for another cut. Let's just say that what I asked for was not what I got. Layers are uneven, not blended, and WAY shorter than what I asked for. Asked for curtain bangs and got uneven, very short bangs. There's absolutely no way to fix this, it is going to take at least six months to grow out the hack job that was done, enough to get someone to try to make it look presentable. There was so much hairspray put in my hair - and it was not blown dry completely, so it frizzed and the frizz was held with hairspray - that it felt sticky and clumpy. I used to walk out with "three day hair" and this time I was washing my hair within hours because it felt like a helmet. I'm unfortunately going to be looking for a new salon. Dexter was the reason to come here. Everyone is VERY nice, but nice isn't what's on my head 24/7. I'm very disappointed.

I feel it's worth the money and when I'm back in town intend on booking another facial there! Once we arrived I had a million questions about my skin. Amanda knew every single answer and more. Once I got back to the facial room there was very relaxing music playing and candles were lit. It was such a RELAXING atmosphere. I laid on the table and got a massage/back facial that after 25 minutes or so, I ended up falling asleep, because it was so RELAXING!!!! It was then my mothers turn. After 60 minutes she came out RAVING about how amazingly SMOOTH and SOFT her skin felt. My mom had always complained about how she was developing wrinkles around her eyes and on her forehead. They seemed to be diminished in just 60 minutes! My mother also got her eye and lip waxed and she said the wax she used didn't even feel like wax, and it didn't hurt at all. Needless to say, my mom and I ENJOYED our day at the spa. I have been getting a pedicure, which I decided to do first as I waited on her, but when she got done, she decided to take someone else instead of coming to me, which resulted in me having to have the tech who is doing my pedicure, do my nails as well and when the front desk receptionist asked him, would he be OK with doing my nails? He seemed upset about it, but said yes anyway so that was kind of off to me. They do also have a new front desk person who I think is actually a little nicer. The last thing that I noticed is last year when I got my nails done for my birthday I was able to use the birthday discount. That they have upfront, they asked me for my ID and to prove that it was my birthday and I was able to get the 20% off mind you that was not the actual day of my birthday. I think it was two days before last year I did the same thing this year and they told me no it had to be on my actual birthday so I found that to be kind of odd. The massage ended up being one of the worst I've ever had. The therapist smelled strongly of cigarettes and was breathing heavily throughout the entire service, which made it very difficult to relax. I was also never turned over during the massage, meaning the entire front side of my body was never worked on, so actually no moisturizer was applied to the front side of my body. During my facial I was told it would include a scalp massage, neck and shoulder massage, and hand/arm massage. Unfortunately, the arm and hand massage was never done. Considering the amount of money spent, the services felt incomplete and the overall experience was mediocre at best. To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added, which is frustrating when the services themselves were not fully delivered.
