I got in a car accident where my car was totalled, I had extream neck, lower back and knee pains and in only 4 months and 1-2 visits a week got me back into the physical shape where I was before the accident. As a 29yr old athlete, there is a sort of unfounded stigma attached with going to a day spa. I tended to think such places were designed with an older clientele in mind. First off, let me just say that I came in for treatment on a minor car accident with a back soreness level of around 5. However, the twist in this story is that I actually had major spinal surgery 3 years prior to the accident and still retained all of the numbness and stiffness (and at times, added soreness) that came along post-procedure. Despite ALL of these factors, Dr. Shane Lahkani was able to fix the soreness from the surgery, remove nearly all numbness in my back, AND improve flexibility in all areas of the body within merely 2 months! I saw it as a complete miracle that I was actually able to feel with my back as I did pre-surgery. In terms of customer service, he completely understands your needs and is actually a great person in general; he's actually worked overtime because I was late. As far as the venue, it's the world-renown Burke Williams Spa! Not only do you get Dr. Shane's expertise, but you have complete access to the facilities for the day.
