My snakebites are too wide in my opinion and only looks good here cause this filter narrows the shape of my face.

So I have A LOT of history with this place. This is, unfortunately, the most accessible place for me to go for piercings. Let me start off by saying, I've gotten my naval pierced, my monroe, my septum, my nipples and more recently my snake bites done here. My Monroe closed up twice while trying to put in new jewelry, after having them in for months. My nipple rings never healed after 5 months so I took them out. My most recent snake bites are not placed properly and do not compliment my lips at all, whereas my friend got his done and his look way better than mine but was done by a different person. I didn't like where they were marked and brought it up but was told that that was where they're supposed to be and of course I listened because they're the "professionals." Let me just say this, there has never been a time where I wasn't ripped off or that they attempted to rip me off. As time passed, I stopped letting them encourage and intimidate me into paying more. You said $35, I'm only paying $35. I'm not buying your overpriced cleaners (the last time I literally went on amazon and got everything they offered for like $15 right in front of their faces) where they were charging $20/cleanser. For my nipple rings I was quoted $35. After they did them they charged me $100+! I smiled, paid them, called my bank and told them what happened and got my money back. It says they're temporarily closed and I'm praying that it's so they can clean up their acts and get rid of the scam artists they have as employees/management (if you can even call it management). If that's not why they're closed then I hope they never reopen. It's criminal what they do and get away with.

Update: After posting the following review on Google, the "new" manager Luis found me on Facebook, messaged with me back and forth, then called me forgetting everything we discussed on messenger (with what sounds like Anthony coaching him in the background as to what to say), offering new piercings, free jewelry, a $150 gift card, or a new tattoo just so I will shop with them again/delete my review. They refuse to give me all or even any of my money back when the original piercings lasted less than 2 weeks -- what sort of retroactive "solution" is that? They clearly do not stand behind the quality of their services. Attached are photos of my piercings lasting less than 2 weeks, Anthony saying it's "ok" to remove the piercings to clean them, and Anthony ignoring my request for a refund. (If you're not completely satisfied = 14-day return policy, anyone???). "Anthony is very "charming" but essentially a con artist - I went in for info on helix piercings & they convinced me to do 3 frontal helix & 3 cartilage on the spot, saying they'd give me the jewelry for free. They charged me $500. (For reference point, Lola's in Bogota wants $90 for a triple helix, which includes the jewelry). Anthony did my piercings at the Palisades Mall (meanwhile he has 0 tattoos & only 1 lobe pierced) - the piercings were uneven & would not heal properly. The backs kept falling out and Anthony actually suggested I take the piercing out to clean it, which made the hole close right up! He "unfortunately" could do nothing to remedy the situation (aka no refund, partial or otherwise). His only offer was a free piercing, and I already know how those turn out seriously don't waste your time or money here, because you won't get either back."

Anthony did an amazing job piercing me and my friend today. He explain everything to us and make us feel less scared about it! In addition to that, the piercing was super sanity!

Came in yesterday with my brother to get sibling tattoos. The lady who helped us get our information and ideas of what we wanted was super sweet and she set us up with Eric. He showed us some of his artwork and was reassuring my brother the whole time because it was his first tattoo. His station was super clean and he took some creative liberty that made our tattoos even better than we expected. So happy with the establishment and definitely coming back for the Black Friday special!

After my daughter was turned down by Claire's, Back Stage came to the rescue. They do walkins and the temporary earrings are very cute. The man who did her piercings was very nice and made sure she was satisfied with what she got. This place was awesome and highly recommended.

Every one that works in the store is very friendly and I love all of the tattoos I've gotten from here. Babiery is a great tattoo artist!

As we were heading to the doctor to find out for sure- she had me call Anthony about the possibility of having to remove the piercing.

This is not a tattoo shop. It's an insult to any real tattoo place with real artists. Backstage is…read moresimply a store front that sells merchandise with some guys who happen to do tattoos and piercings. The guys who work there are arrogant and rude. Their prices are enormously too high for what they do. Don't bother coming here if you want real art done. Go to an actual tattoo shop with people who won't price gauge you.

I would not recommend going here to pierce your ears. I only went because the place I preferred had…read moretheir piercer out until Tuesday and I only had time to get mine done on Sunday. Why don't I recommend it here? 1. They pressure you into buying their specific piercing cleaning kit even tho I told them I have a brand new one at home. "It doesn't work, you need this one," they said - wow! So this little shop in a mall in Nyack, NY, has the ONLY effective cleaning kit out there - amazing! 2. First the guy said additional piercings after the first one are free, just pay for the earrings. He said this several times. Then, when I went to pay, the same guy said it's actually the additional earrings that are free, just pay for the piercing. This resulted in a change in price (more expensive). When I mentioned he had just contradicted himself, the guy at the register said, "I know, I did, I'm sorry. I'm tired." 3. I got a second piercing in each ear. When I put my own earrings back in the first hole (the one I already had) at home, I noticed the new piercings were uneven. On one ear the new and old holes were closer together, in the other ear they were further apart. Why didn't the piercer notice this? When I eventually went back in today, even the guy at the register (same cashier as last night) agreed that they were slightly uneven. 4. Called the next day (today), and they told me to come back and fix it. He told me his piercer would arrive at 11:30. I let him know I had a 40 minute drive and I had to leave work to do this (was rushing there and back during my lunch break). When I arrived, the piercer was not there. He was 45 minutes late! The guy I had spoken to on the phone just said it wasn't his problem and there wasn't anything he could do about it. So instead of being there for a few minutes, I was there for an hour. Terrible customer service. 5. The piercer the night before had used a device, but the guy today just used his hand. I said, aren't you going to use the same contraption? He said, no, everyone does it differently. I found that strange. And he had to pierce twice today to get it even. They're disorganized and don't really care about the customer. Don't bother.
