No-gimmick marketing-REAL BEEF. Back Paddock at Poughkeepsie Farm Project 10/16/21 allyson, one of the business owners, makes a spotlight appearance every couple of weeks at the Poughkeepsie Farm Project CSA fruit tent. I don't think you have to be a CSA member to buy from her on those days but you will get a discount if you are. The beef is all grass fed and finished from their farm at Kent New York. I've had many cuts of their steak and find the flavor to be in comparable to anything you can buy in the supermarket. You will pay a premium but you will know that it's fresh, safe, and that the cattle was treated humanely. read more

(FYI: The fish fry is only on Fridays). After I placed my order, the locals strolled in and placed their orders. They KNOW. I haven't tried their other sandwiches or foods, but will the next time I'm in the area. Service was friendly!
