Everything in there was super fresh. I'm adding this place to Yelp because the only supermarket I know in the area closed and this is just the best place I've been to to get meat EVAR! He even agreed to meet me in the pitch black at night in 9-degree cold to let me shop after I got out of work and could make the trek out to Sharon. It's beautiful country, surrounded by mountains and state forests. There's even a covered bridge coming into town. It's worth the trip out to see the farm and the area even if you are a vegetarian. But, if you are a meat eater like I am, this was a life-changing experience. In addition to being cost effective (even the filet is $23/pound compared to 17 at your local grocer for crap that is fed corn syrup, antibiotics and hormones and $35 at whole foods for god knows what), this operation is local, sustainable, humane and family-run. This is what it's all about folks.
