Located directly on Sunrise Ave and just north of Cirby Way in Roseville, this business specializes in chiropractic adjustments as well as acupuncture and massage therapy. Additionally, they also do IV and Ozone therapy to help depleted electrolytes, relieve joint pain, combat chronic infections, and improve tissue repair at a cellular level. My situation was one that began back in early-2025 when I started experiencing the outer left thigh numbness. I heavily researched symptoms online and there were a broad topic of findings that included meralgia paresthetica, herniated disc, pinched nerve, and even sciatica. Since I recently had my annual physical with my primary care doctor, all of my vital signs through blood tests came out normal as I did not have an elevated A1C (which determines if you're diabetic) nor do I have any abnormalities to my heart, liver, kidneys, and other vital organs. Since my friend referred me here, he put in a good word as I finally booked an appointment on Thursday 3/19/26. There is a small parking lot that actually shares several other businesses in the same building. Once checked in, Dr. Ross was able to see me immediately. He asked some of the standard questions (medical history, past injuries, current medications, etc) to further get a better idea what might be causing this. He then directed me to the x-ray room where he conducted a full body image that shows any abnormalities with my bones and joints. Come find out that there was a small pinched nerve triggering pressure around my lower lumbar spine region. At least this was a sign that I definitely needed to get my back adjusted. Once Dr. Ross gave me a full examination, he was able to make adjustments to my neck/collarbone area and then work on extensive areas surrounding my lower back. he was gentle during the entire exam as I knew this would be the right choice. I did hear some minor cracking but it was quite subtle as there wasn't any immediate pain. The whole appointment only took around 25 minutes which was quicker than expected. After the hours and days that followed this appointment, I still have noticeable pain and numbness. However, from what I was told, it takes weeks (or even months) for this to subside. I also wanted to add that I have several follow-up appointments since this is something I definitely want to treat carefully to keep my body in excellent shape. All in all, "Lighthouse Wellness Center" did a very good job for addressing my needs as I hope that this will eventually help alleviate this discomfort to a somewhat permanent level. I wanted to add that they do accept several insurance plans. Finally, their hours vary by the day but they are open Monday through Friday and can even take last-minute appointments. With a caring staff, above average experience, and hopefully a step in the right direction, I am giving this place a perfect five-star rating.
