She's passionate about healing and it shines in the way she cared for me. Dr. Monica asked the right questions and truly listened to my drawn out explanation of how I ended up with a potential torn meniscus while healing through postpartum. After a few weeks with her I went from limping on crutches to walking with just a knee brace! The best part was just how much she genuinely wanted me to get better. When she realized that my insurance wasn't going to cover her services, she even encouraged me to find another acupuncturist under my insurance. I didn't even consider it after my experience with her and her lovely staff (Kelly is the sweetest). Who has the time to sift through mediocre experiences when I already found a gem like her!

The facility is nice, quiet and clean. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. As a new patient coming into a practice, I was hoping to spend some time just talking to my new chiropractor about my history. This was definitely not the case. Dr. Monica just spoke to me about what I was currently feeling as she was trying to adjust me. Which was kind of difficult trying to speak and having her roughly handle my head and neck. She cracked my neck and lower back. And that was it! I was literally in and out of the office in 15 minutes. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the bedside manner of Dr. Monica. I feel like if she could've spent a little more time with me considering she would've been the chiropractor who I would be seeing in the duration of my pregnancy and thereafter. My neck pain somewhat subsided, I'm still having tension headaches. And my lower back actually felt worse up to two days after my "adjustment". I made an appointment to come the week after, because she was standing right there in front office when I was leaving, but I immediately called the next day to cancel. A thirty plus year journey for me to find wellness has been found. Thank you Nancy From the start I felt I actually found a therapist who may help me, and during COVID of all times. It appears it took a pandemic for me to find the right therapist! I honestly did not believe I would find success on this journey at my age, but I now believe I have a positive future, and I firmly believe healing can happen as long as you do the work, and find someone who knows how to work with you and more importantly, find ALL your root causes as Nancy has done with me. God really works in mysterious ways. Amazing stuff for me. Nancy figured out I was a mess pretty quick so we began weekly sessions, and to this day, there has never been a session that is the same. Each week something new was found and worked on, eventually each year something new was introduced to help us continue progress with my wellness journey; Theragun, to a Bamboo Stick AKA Sheila (I hate Sheila. Shh), and at that point, I happily became a case study for her sister, Ms Hillary who is a future Physical Therapist in training. That was very rewarding to actually have a licensed massage therapist and a future physical therapist in training, assisting you on your wellness journey. We had a few sessions which provided me deeper understanding as to just how bad my condition is. Thank you Doc for allowing this too. So Grateful. In my thirty plus year journey for wellness, I have been thru five chiropractic programs (each a minimum of 3-6 months), two acupuncture programs (one program for 5 years), two orthopedic surgeons (no surgery), one physical therapy program, numerous medications, countless massage therapists and alternative eastern treatments; all satisfied the issues in the moment, but did not even come close to figuring me out, or even trying to figure me out. Timing is strange, but one thing for sure, Nancy is a healer. My wellness journey is far from over, but the ever difficult mystery to find a therapy center with the best massage therapist to support my mission has now been solved as we are looking forward to "maintenance" massages very soon.

He was referred to specialists that were great as well. The office is easy parking access and very warm and comfortable. We hated to have to file a suit for the injury because of all the negative feelings you have about the whole seeming like you're out for $. We didn't feel like this at all with our experience from our attorney giving us options on who to go to see to being treated very well and getting results. He will ultimately need surgery so we will cross that bridge with the ortho. Thanks Dr. Cisneros and everyone for helping us out when we needed it. Nothing sucks more than being in pain after terrible accident and being treated poorly. You changed our opinion. Also we had to wait from time to time it wasn't terrible just so people understand we always made sure to give ourselves ample time to spend for our appointments.

What has kept me coming back is how well he listens and how much he tailors each session to what I need that day. He asks where it hurts, what it feels like, and how I'm feeling that day. He remembers what we've worked on before, but if I've overdone it in the garden, strained something during a workout, etc. he quickly adjusts treatment. Elbert also has an intuitive way of figuring out where a problem is actually coming from, even when it isn't where the pain shows up. I've experienced this regularly through his myofascial work as well as with a lymphatic drainage treatment I had when I was dealing with swelling. Red light therapy is something he incorporates too. My back issues are now much more manageable, with less frequent flareups that don't last as long as they used to - life changing after living with high levels of pain for several years! He's located near The Broken Yolk Cafe in Orange, and I highly recommend booking some time with him.

He truly has a rare approach to care and healing that you don't find very often anymore. I never felt like I was being rushed through or treated like just another appointment. His focus genuinely seemed to be on helping heal the root issue and getting me out of pain -- not just doing a quick adjustment and sending me on my way. The office itself also has a very peaceful and calming atmosphere. There's even the sound of a small waterfall/fountain outside that adds to the tranquil environment, which honestly helped me relax the moment I walked in.
