$10 for an ice cream cup I can lift with two fingers?! Despite the outrageous price, the gelato was good and indulgent. I got two flavors in the smallest cup, the chocolate pistachio crunch and the hazelnut and both were great. The texture was decent and the flavors were tasty. For the chocolate pistachio, I wish there was less chocolate though because they gave me a big slab in my cup and I would've preferred more gelato instead. The interior is nice and I like the baking décor. Overall, the gelato here was tasty but not worth the price. This outlet was not huge huge, but carrying the same cute Instagenic kitchen vibe as it's iconic concept. Stopped by Bacio di Latte and grabbed a small cup with two flavors: pistachio and vanilla caramel. Both were excellent. The pistachio was super creamy with a really natural nutty flavor that didn't taste artificial at all. The vanilla caramel was just as good, smooth and rich with that perfect caramel sweetness running through it. Together they balanced each other really well. The shop itself is clean and bright, and the gelato looks amazing when you walk in. The interior is absolutely beautifully decorated. Staff was friendly and helped move the line along quickly. First of all, I'd love to know how a brand that owns hundreds of ice cream shops in Brazil and opened dozens of locations in LA within the last year is showing up on Yelp as "family-owned", because this feels very corporate to me, not mom and pop. Anyway, the prices aren't cheap, but I understand why. The store is beautiful, the color palette is relaxing, and I'm sure the rent isn't cheap either. Unfortunately, the gelato itself was pretty underwhelming. Not only was it overly sweet, but by the time I finished paying, it was already melting. I had to keep wiping my hands because it was dripping everywhere. I don't mind paying almost $15 for a gelato cone, but I'd at least like to enjoy it instead of rushing to eat it before it melts the second they hand it to you. This probably would've been a 2 or 3 star review under normal circumstances, but unfortunately I can't get past the fact that such a large corporate chain is presenting itself as "family-owned". read more

The price is really amazing high too, but it is very packed in your cup so for a treat I think it is worth it. I love that they give you samples before you order. They also have a point system so if you do go in often even for coffee, it is worth it to sign up. It is not your traditional ice cream as It feels like eating a mix of yogurt and melted ice cream. Pistachio (5/5) Super creamy and milky with bits if pistachio pieces well mixed in. Don't confuse the regular pistachio with the mousse pistachio, which is richer and denser. 2. Buttercream Pretzel (6/5) One of their newest flavors, which has got to be one of my favorite ice cream flavors of all time. The absolute best ice cream in LA :') I love Bacio and am so excited about this new location near Melrose! The shop itself is beautiful, elegant, and spacious, and the staff is BEYOND. I went on a late night on a Monday and they were SO patient and willing to allow multiple samples! Every flavor I tried was perfect, making it so hard to choose, but I ultimately landed on the Crema Torino (my fave), alongside Chocolate Pistachio Crunch and the Cookies and Cream! The store is tastefully decorated and I had been curious, so I was willing to give it a shot. When the tiny cup comes out, I pick it up and notice that it's abnormally light. So I look inside and it's only half full. Absurd. The attendant was kind enough to suggest making me an iced version after I complained about the size. It was more reasonably sized, but in the end I'm disappointed to report that the coffee was sub par at best. Now, you might be wondering, why get a coffee from an ice cream shop?
