This place reminds me of all the amazing designers that ruled the 90's Moschino, Valentino, with a little twist of Halston ( note his era was over) Old School fashion glamour with multi-colored crystal champagne flutes, beautiful opulent chandeliers, with lots of mirrors. I love the fact that this brand has stuck with a timeless style that will soon come back in vogue again. The kids were out having fun and being rich, enjoying coffee and champagne dates. They made the best cappuccino rich and creamy with a foam print of the logo on top with a gold encrusted short bread cookie on the side. We also had the burrata cheese and heirloom cherry tomatoes, drizzled with olive oil, and balsamic vinegar with slices of sour dough bread on the side. Such a cute experience every time I come to Miami; I check out a designer pop up coffee/dessert shop. It's always a fun and cool new way to experience fashion. On a recent trip to my beloved Baccarat Bar and Lounge I was disappointed. It turns out that the staff has been overhauled. I liked the old staff. The new staff is kinda friendly, but not really, kinda helpful, but not really, kinda nice, but not really interested in YOU. Especially, as in our case, where we have a lot of Baccarat in our collection. So, we are THE customer for this sort of boutique. We had a few cocktails. The cocktails were decent and absolutely nothing to write home about. The last time we were at the B Bar we had fabulous espresso martinis and tasty snacks. THERE ARE NO SNACKS to be ordered here. They do give you olives and such, but that is not enough if one wants to nosh on some savory treats whilst imbibing spirits. What a terrible decision to fail to have a menu with a few snacks for sale during the holiday season?! It should be an option to be able to order a mere cheese platter with some fig spread or something. Seriously! The restaurant is stunning but the vibe is vacant. This boutique is located on the second floor of the Design District in Miami. It is small but it has a bar inside and seating outside. We stopped in for birthday drinks. Our bartender was Oberin, who was a pleasant and personable handsome East European tall drink of water. I think he was about 6'7 tall! We each ordered a cocktail and he surprised us with signature shots. We ended up ordering a set of glasses. They were out of stock in the store and they took about 4 months to arrive (shipped to house). The store was filled with many crystal items including glasses, trays, vases, and colored chandeliers. They had the popular perfume- BR540, but sadly sold out. We were there on a week night so we had the bar to ourselves. The Baccarat Boutique Experience was quite nice. As you walk in you smell the Baccarat fragrance and you see crystals everywhere. Very pretty environment. The host and bartenders are super nice and attentive. I believe my bartender name was Andrew, and he made me the best drink I've ever had and the prettiest! You can purchase parfum, crystals and food all in the same spot. On the Main Street they offer valet parking or you can try to find street parking if it's available. Found a super chic and cute small cafe located inside the baccarat store which is one of my favorites for fragrances. They had a full bar so you can get whatever drink you want but they also custom made the coffee and desert to say baccarat or have art on it. Upon walking around the Miami design district we stumbled upon this location while waiting for the Dior cafe. It was a bit unassuming but had a bar so we gave it a whirl. We wanted to get more info about the "b" experience that was on the menu so we asked our server. She abruptly told us she didn't know and needed to get someone more familiar with the menu (a bit odd). Another gentleman came out to explain that you got to chose your glass and then tell the bartender what you like in a cocktail and he would make it. We assumed we would get to pick from the enormous and gorgeous collection of glassware they had in the store. This was not correct. They had a few selected behind the bar and we got to pick from those. Still a fun little kitchy menu thing. So we go to tell him what type of spirit we prefer and how we like drinks. We see him flipping through a menu book for inspiration (doesn't seem too fun and different to see a gin and tonic with cucumber in it). I had asked for mezcal - he wasn't sure if they had it but I could immediately spot the casamigos bottle and told him I saw it then had to proceed to tell him where it was on their bar. The casamigos brand is huge but he couldn't seem to find the bottle for a hot minute. Another bit of a hmmm moment. Eventually our cocktails came out and they were the equivalent to a gun and tonic, vodka soda and margarita in a fancy glass for $30 each since it was "the experience". Lastly as we were inside at the bar taking to the bartender for our "experience" the server who wasn't able to explain the experience to us interrupts us to ask the bartender for a bottle of sparkling water and 5 glasses and he walks away from us to do it. Just seemed extremely disorganized. Perhaps this place just opened? Hard to tell. Great spot and set up and the food around us looked fine but we didn't try any of that.
