My husband and I stopped here with a group of 17 and tried a variety of chicettes and also had a spritz. We're visiting from America and the spritz in the US is significantly different compared to what it is in Italy. I don't love spritz in general however the 1 from here was tolerable. We tried 4 different chicettes and my favorite was the 1 with tomato and mozzarella. The options are available at the front counter making it a great spot to grab a quick snack and go. For a small establishment there is plentiful seating indoor (about 15-20) and outdoor seating as well.

My partner and I stopped here to grab a quick bite and spritz and really enjoyed it. We got the below cichette: 1. Mushroom 2. Walnut gorgonzola 3. Soppressata and Asiago (I think?) 4. Sardine and grilled onion 5. Cod and cream 6. Soppressata sandwich I would say there's not much room/seating so you either have to get lucky and arrive when another group is getting up (this happened to us) or enjoy your meal standing in the area.

Great place for an inexpensive lunch. Wonderful cicchetti and a glass of wine. Lively atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Cute little place we found in the heart of Venice. Apparently this bar has been here for ages! Which i thought was cool. There's not much seating, but luckily we found an open area. It got pretty crowded after we got there but I loved the vibes. The bartender was so nice and accommodating, she recommended this delicious wine. And we ordered an amazing aperol spritz after. We also tried some yummy cicchetti. Everything was reasonably priced. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A true bar Veneziano. You won't find many tourists here--but very popular with the locals. Small footprint with 8 stools + standing room. Great for reasonably-priced espressos, wines, and beer. Also really good finger food (small snacks, also very fairly priced). It took me a while to find a time place populated with locals--not tourists--but I found it! This is it. Highly recommended for price, quality, and selection.

Bacaro Risorto was recommended as good place to eat cicchetti but when we visited the place they could not get that right. It was clear the bread was old and did not taste fresh, it was like duck food. The drinks were good (I had spritz with ice), but I would not recommend this place if you want cicchetti.

Great service and atmosphere. I had a drink and a small tapa/dish for 7 Euros. Attentive barman with great music and beat to it.

    Tapas style snacks.

Yummy cichetti and wine/spritzes in this TEENY restaurant. There are very few seats so be prepared to stand and snack and people watch!

Upon arrival, the owner was sitting at a table drinking wine. There weren't any people dining, so we were the only ones. The servers and cooks were very attentive. We were immediately greeted and seated while our drink requests were taken. We always choose still water. Today, we decided to try a wine tasting, which included a blend of whites of reds from the region. The waiter explained in detail the type of wine, where it is made, what type of grapes it is made with, and the year it was made. All of the wines were very delicious. Italy takes great pride in their wines and rightfully so. We requested bruschetta and presciutto. We were given fresh, warm bread, which we mixed with salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. The bread was amazing. It had a soft, warm inside and a crunchy outside. Isn't that they way bread should be served? The bruschetta was delicious as was the presciutto. The food, wine, and service were superb. We vowed that we would return for dinner, but alas, we didn't make time to do so. This is a great restaurant!

Location is very nice, right at a pretty trendy canal, filled with lots of restaurants and bars. Right next to is an excellent gelato place. It's quite small inside with few tables, many just hang around outside - and why not, the location at the canale is a pretty spot. We did manage though to get some seats inside. Our Bulldog was very welcome here as well. The various cicchetti are presented at the counter. There are some classics of course, but also some very innovative creations. We went for the latter. There was gorgonzola with strawberry, radicchio with brie cheese, pesto topped with an anchovie and mushrooms, mashed fava beans with pulp and mashed fava with goats cheese and a cherry. All really wonderful combinations. Our favorite were the radicchio and the fava/goat cheese. Surely something to recreate back home. Staff was very friendly, we felt very welcome here. And instead of focussing on Aperol, Select and Prosecco, it's mostly about white and red wine here. And they have an excellent selection of wine. Not all cheap, but definitely worth the money. We especially loved the Pinot Nero "Terre di Giotto". A brillant cicchetti bar. Definitely a place we come back to next time in Venice.
