Delicious and different. We asked for their recommendations for food and wine and it didn't disappoint.

Okay. Wow wow wow. RUN don't WALK TO THE TIRAMISU WITH PISTACHIO CRÈME. I could've eaten this 1000 times on our trip but instead ate it twice. Honestly, easily best tiramisu I've ever had. Their wine and other Cicchetti were delicious too but honestly I could rave forever about the tiramisu! GO GET IT!

Definitely recommend this place for ciccheti in Venice! Live music happened at night, and everything I got was good.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Venice, Italy. There were so many foods to sample and experience. When you walk in, the restaurant has a variety of main dishes and sides to select from. The spread is beautiful! I ordered a variety of dishes to get a taste of the local seafood. The sausage ravioli with blueberry sauce was rich and out of this world flavorful. This is a must visit unique restaurant experience. Highly recommended!

Venice has tapas too!! (Called cicchetti)

Best place in Venice!! Close to everything and just enough off the beaten path to avoid tourists. The prices are extremely reasonable too. Lastly, the staff was incredible and everything we had was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about Sepa!! You have to come here!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Venice for four days. Our hotel was pretty close to this spot and I'm glad it was. SEPA is a small wine bar/tapas bar. It is hidden so it took a minute to actually find it. This place was amazing, so amazing that we came here multiple times during our trip. They have several type of wines and they were all good honestly. He allowed us to try a few red wines (what I enjoy) to pick which we wanted. I really liked the Cabernet. Here's the best part... you can get wine bottles from like $3-$8 (depending on the size). The $3 bottle is actually a great size for having a couple glasses while hopping around bars. The food here was really good as well. There are tons to choose from and they are displayed right in front of you so you can look for yourself. I will say that my boyfriend was obsessed with the octopus from here. You order, pay and there are barrels and some areas around to stand up and enjoy.

Upon arrival, the owner was sitting at a table drinking wine. There weren't any people dining, so we were the only ones. The servers and cooks were very attentive. We were immediately greeted and seated while our drink requests were taken. We always choose still water. Today, we decided to try a wine tasting, which included a blend of whites of reds from the region. The waiter explained in detail the type of wine, where it is made, what type of grapes it is made with, and the year it was made. All of the wines were very delicious. Italy takes great pride in their wines and rightfully so. We requested bruschetta and presciutto. We were given fresh, warm bread, which we mixed with salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. The bread was amazing. It had a soft, warm inside and a crunchy outside. Isn't that they way bread should be served? The bruschetta was delicious as was the presciutto. The food, wine, and service were superb. We vowed that we would return for dinner, but alas, we didn't make time to do so. This is a great restaurant!

Location is very nice, right at a pretty trendy canal, filled with lots of restaurants and bars. Right next to is an excellent gelato place. It's quite small inside with few tables, many just hang around outside - and why not, the location at the canale is a pretty spot. We did manage though to get some seats inside. Our Bulldog was very welcome here as well. The various cicchetti are presented at the counter. There are some classics of course, but also some very innovative creations. We went for the latter. There was gorgonzola with strawberry, radicchio with brie cheese, pesto topped with an anchovie and mushrooms, mashed fava beans with pulp and mashed fava with goats cheese and a cherry. All really wonderful combinations. Our favorite were the radicchio and the fava/goat cheese. Surely something to recreate back home. Staff was very friendly, we felt very welcome here. And instead of focussing on Aperol, Select and Prosecco, it's mostly about white and red wine here. And they have an excellent selection of wine. Not all cheap, but definitely worth the money. We especially loved the Pinot Nero "Terre di Giotto". A brillant cicchetti bar. Definitely a place we come back to next time in Venice.

One downside is how small the space is. Completely packed most of the time with only a few outdoor tables for seatings so be prepared to stand and eat.
