I believe a carseat is the about that same cost through a rental car company. It was nice to use a local company and we would definitely use her on our next trip to KW!

Per our agreement, the car seat would be dropped off at the rental car desk and the stroller would either be there or at our hotel. All upfront communication was smooth. The car seat was not at the airport and it took me an hour to get in touch with the owner. By that time we had rented a car seat from the rental car company. Apparently, an "employee" was supposed to drop everything off and failed to do so. Yvonne offered to refund my charges and still rent us the stroller for the week. I appreciated her offer and agreed to those terms. Fast forward 6 weeks and she still has not refunded my money after asserting she would do so in email. Additionally, she provided documentation to Amex showing that her charge was legitimate (I was forced to dispute) even though she said she would refund the money. At this point, I felt it was necessary to go on record about working with this company.

I've been in this store about five times for different reasons each time. They have always been helpful and friendly and explained things I wasn't sure about or helped me find things that were very well hidden in their tightly packed--very well stocked for its size--store. They have a good selection, and you can order almost anything you need to be shipped to the store and then pick it up. Prices are competitive without that "extra cost" that seems to get added by a lot of businesses because we are so far from the mainland. (I get it, transport here is expensive!). When I place orders they call me to tell me they are ready so I can come pick them up. The two downsides are: 1) the app. If you do curbside pick up with the app, no one brings it out to you. You have to go in, wait in line at customer service, and pick it up yourself. And 2) usually when you go into a home depot the people who work there know a lot about the tools and supplies and how to use them. It's pretty clear that some employees here don't do any of their own home improvements. However, the employees will go out of their way to help you and are super friendly. So that's a huge plus. Just know that you have to come already knowing every single little thing you'll need for your job, including sizes and types, since you won't be able to just ask the staff what else is needed to change the faucet in your sink.

A1A did all the packing and loading at the origin location. At the destination I discovered that…read morethe wardrobe boxes containing my clothing on hangers were also tightly jammed with other items, such as a full size plastic clothes hamper (into which a comforter was tightly jammed), unprotected shoes and an iron, full-size file boxes, a wastepaper basket, a tripod, etc. The force and displacement resulting from of all that jamming caused my clothes to not just be all creased, but also damaged, including a leather jacket whose collar was permanently dented in two places. Mats and a rug which should have been rolled up were instead tightly folded and bent. An upholstered chair had its upholstery ripped. A microwave oven for which I had the original box and styrofoam had the platter thrown into the interior loose and unprotected. Possibly the most clear-cut indicator that the damage was intentional was my favorite mouse pad (which has been discontinued), which was made of a firm material and yet was packed at the very top of a box's interior having been completely and precisely folded in half, making it forever unusable. The boxes that had been packed in my presence in the living room had tons of packing paper in them, but the boxes that were packed out-of-sight in the bedrooms often had no packing paper at all and looked like drawers had been turned upside down and the contents dropped into the boxes. Then there's the usual damage such as glass artwork being shattered, cardboard boxes being crushed., etc. This is all documented in photos, as well as videos of me opening up the wardrobe boxes. I had completed as instructed the high-value inventory online, but when I was presented paperwork to sign after the boxes had been loaded, it said I had "none" and that it was too late to fix. For both the A1A packers and movers, I tipped each of them $50 before they started and told them they would each get another $50 afterwards, for which I kept my word, and yet they did this.

I can't find one good thing to say about A1A Atlantic Moving & Storage. The very first crew that came to pack said terrible things about the company. I should have considered that a clue. Don't waste a second considering them for any move. Any option other than A1A Atlantic is a better decision.
