This is my favorite store for Halloween costumes ‍‍(in person) and Christmas presents (at a distance); this is a big help when I am not in FL. I love to come here; the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The owner is fantastic and great with suggestions. Call them if you need helpful hints on a good gift! They also have a great service, birthday boxes for kids- the birthday child can make a list of what they'd like .... And you can select an item. Overpriced first of all. Quality of product low and price point high. Mismarked items where the pricing was wrong and their fault and instead of honoring that they used the higher marked price. Enjoy the extra $2! I spend $50/day supporting local shops. I'll be going out of my way to AVOID ever patronizing this dump. read more

I'm well aware that Christmas is at least 7 months away... but you can't go wrong with early planning.... IMAGINATION STATION (love the name) is an awesome kid's toy store; well, I don't like calling it a toy store as it's far from being a Toys-R-Us or the toys isle at Walmart. Everything they carry is above and beyond the "trendy" toys.... The things you buy here stimulate thinking or entertain a group of kids to promote social skills. Move over G.I. Joe, Cabbage Patch and Matchbox cars.... you'll be more inclined to find kites, great books and puzzles, a huge variety of yoyo's and other coordination toys, mega selection of Thomas Train sets and no store can be without Lego. Plus they had a really interesting display of "Science and Technology" project kits for the boys and for the girls a variety of baking and cooking sets with great cook books too (all for kids).... being that it is Key West, I guess the boys can use the baking and cooking stuff too. The only section I found interesting but creepy at the same time was the hand puppets and marionette puppets.... if I were a kid I know this stuff would keep me up at night. Considering that Key West does not have a Walmart... nor does it have a Target... and frankly we won't even count K-Mart (for certain their dirtiest and most disorganized location).... your best bet to STIMULATE, EDUCATE and INTERJECT social behaviors is to shop here at IMAGINATION STATION. The store looks good and has a lot of variety but it's mostly educational toys that the owners selling more than they're worth. The owner there was nice at first but after going there for a while she started to try to scam us more and more. It was really sad cause I did like this place but there's terrible costumer service and is way overpriced. I also have been waiting to get some Pokémon cards and the owner sells them for double of what they're worth. Very disappointed. read more

To Gabrielle N. who posted a nasty review yesterday...I was in the store at the same time. The owner asked you to wear a mask, even gave you one, and you never once mentioned a medical condition. You hung it on your ear and when she asked you to put it on properly, you had a hissy fit. You did, however, say that the governor had removed requirements which, BTW, does not affect private businesses. You were rude and set a bad example for the children with you. This store has done everything they can to keep people, especially children, safe. I love shopping there. read more

Great variety of toys and Donna is so friendly and helpful! My husband loves coming here with or without our grandson!
