The worst? - paying $200 for five meals. Almost $10 for a pitifully thin slice of still-frozen cake. My salmon was anemic, the sauce was tasteless and the spinach wasn't fully cooked. The side of string beans with marinara seemed like it was a lame experiment in culinary creativity that fell completely flat. Squishy French fries, the gyro meat (3 of us had ordered the gyro platter) had the consistency of chewing gum. We won't be back.

I decided to try Brumley's holiday buffet on Christmas Day. I didn't take photos of the food but…read morecaptured the holiday decorations. My spouse and I along with my father ate at Brumley's for the holiday buffet. I was a bit disappointed about certain parts of the food and seating arrangements. First of all I was hoping to sit in one of the well styled dining rooms instead of being seated at a folding table with folding chairs chair in the hallway. The buffet consisted of raw trout, shrimp, seafood chowder that was too creamy for me to eat, salad table with lots of fixings, prime rib, roast beef, chicken cordon blue, sides included Mac and cheese, roasted potatoes, broccoli, and collared greens. They had rolls and butter. The dessert table had chocolate and red velvet cake slices along with frosted cookies. My chicken was very dry. I would have liked some other options such as a turkey, ham or even roasted chicken instead. The chocolate cake was very moist but also very rich. I couldn't finish it as the icing was too thick. Unless changes are made I will not attend the next holiday buffet. Not sure if it's worth $60 per person.

Employees stood around on their phones. The food was "OK". Their redeeming factor is that they had a full bar, beer, wine, and liquor. There were only 2 other couples, and I sat alone at the bar. The bartender, too, was on his phone. Three servers spoke in Spanish, which I know makes many Americans uncomfortable! This is America, where we speak ENGLISH to assimilate as our forefathers all did with pride! The final straw for me was that the double doors on the right side were locked when I began to leave after eating! Those doors need to be unlocked during business hours! It is a Fire code violation to have it locked! I will wait until November to go back - if they are still around! As I said pricey for mexican food!
