So happy I found this place! They open at 5:30am on weekdays, which is perfect since I travel long distances for work and usually leave early. The owner is so sweet and friendly and the blueberry muffin was probably the best I've ever had from a coffee shop! Passed this little place today on the way to an appointment. On the way back, we decided to stop by and try it out. We were beyond pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely fabulous. The staff was very kind. I got a lavender oat milk latte, my husband a peppermint white chocolate mocha and my kid got an oat milk hot chocolate. All the drinks exceeded expectations. The actual espresso taste was great, not burnt or sour. The flavoring was there, but not overpowering the espresso. We also got some kind of s'more pastry and I took it home and tried it later in the day... it blew my mind. It was delicious and not what I expected when I looked at it. We live 30ish mins away, but will be returning to the area just to get coffee here. We've tried lots of dfw coffee shops and this is on the top! read more

Though they say social distancing is enforced and masks are generally required....It was sad to see that out of 15 people in the store, only 2 were wearing a mask including myself. Not sure if that follows occupancy standards; check that later if you're interested. I did not hesitate to keep my distance from people or bolt out when I hear an unmuffled cough out the corner of the room. Coffee was great though. Just don't feel like the guidelines they claim to adhere to are in fact being followed. A lot of what looked to be grade school students working on computers with family. No masks. 3 senior citizens. No masks or distancing when conversing with each other(2 different parties). If I'd of gone before covid, I'd of thrown 5 stars their way. But I saw what I saw and experienced what I experienced. Coffee and blueberry muffins were on point. Customer service was great. 10/10 would recommend once covid is over. But if you rather be cautious, then call for curbside if they do that. read more

Was visiting a friend in town and we went to Babylon (one of her favorite coffee spots) and it was amazing! The coffee was delicious. I had a latte with spices and it was amazing! I have been here multiple times by now, and I can say it's consistently great environment for remote work. Excellent choice of music, which is usually lo-fi chill vibes. Stopped in my favorite coffee shop an hour before closing. Cheers to the new more comfortable furniture but jeers for my $5.00 lavender latte getting served in a paper cup to drink here. That seems cheap and what I would have gotten at a Starbucks. The ceramic cups and saucers are why I drive 9 miles to come here and pass 3 Starbucks and 2 Dunkin Donuts along the way (if I wanted a throw away cup experience). I've been coming regularly for over a year and have brought several friends here whom have come several times with their family and today was the first time I left disappointed. Prices have gone up and I've still come but the barista was less than pleasant and honestly, just seemed like she wanted my dad and I to leave. It was uncomfortable, so we left within about 10 min. It may be a while before I come back. White Rhino, Dutch Bros., Roots and several others are about the same distance. Every other time I have been in it has been a great experience. I've always felt comfortable to stay and linger over my coffee or order another one until today. It only takes one bad one though for me not to come back. read more

I am so excited to have Babylon Coffee Roasters right here in North Richland Hills! The business is owner operated meaning the owner works the shop. They also roast their own coffee (unlike their competitor nearby) which brings out full bodied flavor. My favorite so far - iced lavender latte. IT IS AMAZING!!! This is a Special Secret Gem. Now my #1 coffee place. I don't mind sharing this place with you. It is very special. The music and all around ambiance is perfect for me and my husband. A zen kind of place that you can feel that your day is going to be just right. In the morning they have all flavors of coffees and teas and specials and all the different milks and mixers. I got the hot mocha and my husband got the caramel macchiato. We don't normally sit inside restaurants lately but we decided to this day because it was quiet and we were distanced from others and we totally enjoyed our time and our coffees.
