Welcoming, genuine way fun place to be. The talent is surprisingly good for not being a huge and famous club. Really good!

We were lucky to find a parking space in a nearby park a block away. Parking was free after hours on Saturday & Sunday. I would recommend just Uber if you don't want the hassle. We followed the signs to the side entrance and walked downstairs to the venue. We were greeted and they checked my name for the tickets. Seating is first come first serve and we arrived early enough to get good seats. Venue is small, but comfortable. You don't feel like you are sitting in top of each other. They have a two drink minimum and light snacks, so plan for dinner before or after. There were a few Taco & Dim Sum places in walking distance. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area. Enter Freely, they've been approved:)

They have some snacks available and plenty of drinks. The entrance is in the alleyway and wasn't too difficult to find. It was a decent sized space, but I can imagine it can get crowded for more popular comedians. They had one person managing all the drink orders and she was working hard! The drinks themselves were decent. Overall a good venue for a night of comedy. There's plenty of parking in the nearby parking lot (much cheaper than Chicago public parking).

Staff are great and I pass the greeter a $5 for a front row seat at the stage. 2 item minimum and validated parking makes for an affordable evening. Easy online ordering with prices showing the total with all fees and tax. Easy check in with your name at the front desk, no tickets issued. Have never had anything but Coke and mixed nuts. They certainly keep everything spotless but they do keep you packed in like sardines.

And they deliver. We've been here a few times since November of 2025 and I even got to see Kevin Bozeman there (if you haven't caught his act, check him out: https://www.youtube.com/@TheeKevinBozeman). Sure, there's a two ITEM minimum. Get the pretzel and a drink, or two drinks, or whatever, I don't care what you get. You're there to laugh. The servers are attentive and the seating is comfortable (despite being a bit crammed in). The warm ups have been great. They are very interactive with lots of crowd work. They validate your parking and offer you two free passes if you can show them that you follow them on Instagram. So, free parking and free passes. Seems like a great night out to me. And you get to see some awesome comedy. My only detraction is that you're packed in like sardines, so go early and find a place where you won't feel too packed in. And they let you meet the headliners afterward. I love Zanies in Rosemont!

I've been here a few times over the years. They have a lot of big names that come through. The…read moreparking sucks because it's part of the mall and there are restaurants nearby. I think if they were a stand alone building, the parking would not be as awful. After you park, they have two lines going into the building. One is general admission and the other is VIP. General admission was on the left and VIP was on the right. They are not labeled. VIP just means that you sit closer to the stage. Seats are like first come first serve. Btw when it is busier, they have people sitting in front of you at each table. They fill each table to the max. In general, I would recommend lining up at least 30-40 mins before the show begins, for better seating. After you sit down, you have to order two items per person. We just ordered two drinks each. It's kind of an asinine rule but I guess that's how they make their money. We ordered food in the past. Ever since then, we just grab food nearby before coming. Food was okay here. The drinks are not bad, the glasses are a good size so you can sip on it throughout the show. Service was good, although it could be better. It took awhile to receive our drinks. Depending on the comedian, you can get a free picture or you have to pay for one. Overall, it's like a 3.5 experience but 5 stars for the comedian. Meh, I'll give it 4 stars.

Parking was in an issue the place is small their stairs but there's also an elevator which I like the fact that it is small because it's more intimate that way and the comedian can actually interact with the audience. We didn't really try the food but there is a two drink minimum or an order of food so we just did two drinks it's a bit pricey so just need to expect that. The service was great the our server was always there checking up on us and asking what we needed so that's also a good thing. Will definitely come back and see more shows here. Happy watching!

We had to silence our phones and make sure to buy 2 drinks each. We were a little late for the opener was performing. They sat us at the middle front table. I liked the way you light up the menu to get a waitress to come. We each had a tropical cocktail then a seltzer. Comedy was great. We were at the later show. At the end, we were talking to one of the comedians and the workers kept pushing us out which was a little rude. That's the reason for minus 1 star. Other than that we had a great experience.

There's been bad reviews in the past but he truly does not care about how he treats the people that spend money at his establishment. I wish I could leave a better review, but our experience at CG's was absolutely unacceptable. The manager/ owner Glen Martino completely mishandled a situation with my family while one of my family members was getting sick in the bathroom. Instead of showing concern for a guest's wellbeing, he assumed they were dining and dashing, yelling curse words and slurs in the process at my female family members. This lack of professionalism not only disrupted the show completely and then throwing the rest of us out even though they had our cards for the bill during this whole process. To make matters worse, the manager physically assaulted my brother during the commotion which stopped the show in front of the rest of the guests. This was supposed to be a fun family night out, but it turned into a nightmare because of the manager's (Glen Martino's) hot-headed and rude behavior. It's shocking that someone like this is allowed to run a business. I highly recommend avoiding CG's Comedy Club. Save your money and spend it somewhere that values and respects its guests. Glen Martino should be ashamed of his behavior, and honestly, he should be fired if he could be. This was hands down the worst experience we've ever had at any venue. 0 stars if possible would not recommend.
