I've been bringing my car here for about 10 years and it's always been a great experience. Danny is always honest about what actually needs to be done and what can wait, and he gives me a heads up on what's coming up so I can plan and not be caught off guard. I also love that there isn't a lot of turnover--the same people are there and actually know you, which makes a big difference. Everything is done right and it never feels pushy like it does at a dealership. I'd recommend them to anyone! read more

Couldn't possibly recommend a better shop than Babbitt. The repairs are fantastic, and the communication and cost are the best in the business. My car is in and out, and what any other shop would've charged thousands for, Babbitt gets it done for a fraction of the cost. Danny does a perfect job of supporting the customer and maintaining a clear line of communication; to call them the best in the valley is a gross understatement. read more

I called Babbit late on a Friday afternoon to ask if they would check out my car after I had taken it to the dealership for repairs.. The dealership was going to charge me thousands of dollars. Babbit performed the same repairs for a fraction of the cost. They even advised me of a few repairs that were not required. I called on a Friday, dropped my car off on a Monday, picked it up on a Tuesday. I've driven BMW for years and now Babbit will be my singular mechanic to help me with all my needs. Thank you, Danny for your help.! read more

10/10 - Outstanding Experience! We were originally planning to have our 2021 BMW X5 serviced at BMW Scottsdale, especially since they were offering a 25% discount on parts and labor for October. Their discounted quote came to $5,461, which covered: Front & Rear Brakes with Rotors Control Arms Alignment They also recommended a fuel injector flush and engine decarbon flush at $273.86 each, and said we needed two rear tires for $1,250.22. Before committing, we decided to get a second opinion and found Babbitt Motor Werks in Scottsdale on October 8th. I spoke with Danny Flynn, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful right from the start. After giving him our VIN, he reviewed everything BMW recommended and came back with an estimate of around $4,200 -- and he was upfront in telling us we didn't need the injector or decarbon flushes. He also said they'd inspect the tires first before deciding if replacement was necessary. We scheduled for the next morning, and they even went ahead and ordered the parts right away. When we dropped off the car, Jennifer Babbitt checked us in. She was friendly, professional, and efficient. Within a couple hours, she called to confirm everything, go over pricing, and we asked them to also handle the spark plugs (which weren't due until Spring 2026) and replace the wipers. They inspected the tires and confirmed we could safely wait on those -- which we appreciated. The best part? The car was ready THAT SAME AFTERNOON. When we arrived, the X5 was out front waiting for us, the checkout process with Jennifer was smooth and quick, and we were on our way. Driving home, we were blown away -- our BMW hasn't run this smoothly in years. We didn't even realize how much performance had been lost until after the service. Honest recommendations Fair pricing Exceptional customer service Fast turnaround High-quality work If you own a BMW, do yourself a favor and bring it here. Babbitt Motor Werks delivers dealership-level expertise without the upsells or inflated pricing. We highly recommend them -- an easy 10 out of 10. read more

Thank you Danny for all your help, even before I arrived as I was stressing out while I was driving to you, since my car was flashing every alert possible. You took such great care of me when I arrived and put in a new battery while I waited and washed it too. So impressed by all of you! I highly recommend Babbitt Motor Werks to all BMW owners. Good pricing and top notch service. read more

Brought my newly purchased Mini Cooper in for a general inspection. The team was very quick and thorough, finding a few items which needed attention. Danny worked directly with the warranty company to get the repairs covered and dealt with in a quick, no hassle manner. I'll definitely go back for all of my maintenance and repair needs. read more

My car is here now with this great team. I had custom work done in Texas for m57 platform at one of the supposed "best", however car was returned to me with serious problems. (Oil leak, fuel(diesel) leak, boost issue, fuel smells, excess rear soot, check engine light ) The team here so far has been extremely kind in trying to solve what's going on, they took a look at my car and spent time explaining to me while I recorded what potentially really going on at no charge. That's greatly appreciated. They're now doing extensive testing to pinpoint every issue and solve them, thank god good teams like Sean and Danny exist out here in Arizona / Babbit Motor Werks ill update this more when my work is complete read more

We were so impressed with this place. Took my 2004 BMW M3 in to them for the first time. I would recommend them to my friends and family. Truly honest and good. Dealt with Danny who had his techs execute some complicated computer diagnostics on the vehicle. We got a wealth of information and he helped us make some decisions on the work that needed to be done. So happy to have found a trustworthy and wonderful place to take my BMW to. read more

Had my i3 in for a 12v battery swap. The crew at Babbitt got it turned around in just a few hours. I missed the appointment because the car didn't start one last time before the battery swap, but they were understanding and helpful despite that. The dealer estimate was almost 2x for the same service. I'm glad to have a new partner for my BMW maintenance needs. And thanks for the car wash! read more

I've been coming to Babbitt for 3 years and every time I come it's a great experience. Every time I've had an issue I've just left my bmw and put the keys in the mailbox. My car has been ready the next day. No appointment. My issues have been rather minor though. Just got a new battery and it has been less than 2 years since I had it done at the shop so they replaced it for free. I love this shop! read more

Great place to take your BMW's. We have taken our out of warranty Beemers here for several years. Our recent was our 3 year old X2 that needed a new battery. The heat in Phoenix will kill a battery quick. Danny is the man who knows Beemers. He is knowledgeable, fair, friendly and just a super nice guy! Husband called, was told to let him know when I'm coming and he will keep a stall open for me. I arrived and they doubled checked to make sure it was the battery and in less than an hour I was done. New battery and car wash. Fairly priced at $426. A lot cheaper than a dealership! Don't have any apprehension about bringing your vehicle here! Danny and team will take great care of your Beemers read more

Trustworthy. Experts. Woman owned. Friendly. Good lobby to do work while you wait for your car to be serviced. Highly recommend.

It's crazy that I actually enjoy the occasion of bringing my Mini into the shop :P But that's Babbitt! After learning the hard way that I can't take my lil Brit to any general mechanic, I found Babbitt through a BMW friend. They have completely earned my trust, always advise yet never make me feel forced, and the staff are such genuinely dope people. Jen, Cam, Jeff... I love coming in to see them!! read more

These guys are great and know their business very well. I took my 528 I to be checked for a check engine light "on" and they took care of it since it was a fairly simple thing unless it happens again. They are very honest and straight forward. This shop is unreal. Can't tell you how impressed I am with this facility compared to other experiences I've had in the valley. I was initially planning on only having my rotors/pads and oil changed. Called the shop and spoke to Danny, super friendly guy and gave me a great quote and time frame. Dropped it off the next morning when they opened, figured MAYBE by end of the day I'll have it back. Nope, got a call at lunch saying they were already done. However, I was informed that I had a serious gas leak from a bad fuel pump. I thought about taking it to the dealership for a second but decided these guys were already crushing it and said go ahead. I have a third party warranty which Danny called right up and got my fuel pumps covered as well as my worn tranny mounts. Couldn't believe it but he called me back a few hours later to let me know the work was completed. Blown away! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danny and his crew in a heartbeat. I definitely know my new go to shop for all my BMW repairs. read more

These guys are the best. They took my car in no problem and it runs like it was brand new. Would trust these men with my life! I wouldn't go anywhere but here! read more

Took my 2008 Mini Cooper to Babbitt for long overdue maintenance. The team was very professional and answered all of my questions as I contemplated taking my car to a mechanic instead of the dealer. Danny was very helpful and patient. He provided a quote which I compared with the dealer and was flexible as I scheduled my appointment. Struts, motor mounts seals, oil change and more - I am very satisfied with the work. My car drives like it is new. And they washed the car after the appointment Literally 1 week later, the battery died and I was back. Within 30 minutes I had a new battery. I highly recommend Babbitt - friendly, professional, thoughtful and helpful. The work they performed was exceptional. read more

I have never written a Yelp review but have read 1000's maybe millions...LOL...ok...a lot. I did read all the reviews I could find on Babbitt Motor Works in Scottsdale. All I needed was to replace a car battery. Simple right, even Pep Boys could do it. NOT. My baby, a 2011 328i convertible is only going to the best I can find...and I found it. Danny the Service Manager is so friendly and knowledgeable. He told me all the in's and out's of a battery for my baby. A BMW does need special care for sure, that is why I got it. After talking to Danny I met Zach, the Certified BMW Master Mechanic. I have to tell you that with all my fears of leaving Wesley (my babies name) with them I knew everything would be ok. Zach told me the whole process of what is involved in a simple battery change. Something they call registering it to the car. OK so I think it's like sending a card to the manufacturer. Nope Zach said he hooks up a computer to the car and tell the cars computer (that controls the charging system) the new specs of the battery being replaced so it knows how to charge the new battery. Pep Boys or Auto Zone would have said HUH!!! Anyway, this is the place to go for the love of my life (don't tell my wife...I like her too). It's that simple. Thanks guys you are the best! read more

Danny is the best service manager. my car was in right away for an oil change on my Mini Cooper and went above and beyond with a couple of lights that needed replaced. And wash my car. I brought a BMW i3 for pre-purchase inspection. People were kind to say, "This is a clean car. There is nothing wrong. You are good to go." It sounded too optimistic, so I took the vehicle to the BMW Chapman. Of course, "the dealer" found all tiny things, including some critical issues, such as the bent of two wheel rims that caused vibration at high speed. I could save thousands of dollars by demanding the seller to repair several issues before getting the car because I had an extra inspection after Babbitt. read more

Got in my 540i to take my son to a school.....click, click, click. Battery dead!! Got in my wife's car and drove my son to school. While driving called Babbitt Motor Werks and spoke to Jen, asked if they could send someone to my house and change the battery/inspect my 540i. She said sure, but she won't have an available tech til 10am. The tech came over at 10:30am but I was on a conf call and didn't see him. Callled Babbitt and Cameron answered, said he'll send someone over at 1:30pm. 1:30pm comes and there is the tech. Switched out my battery (luckily it was just the battery) and cleaned up/put everything back in trunk. The best customer service!! Made my life easier.....didn't have any headaches due to car issues (who doesn't want that!!) This is why Babbitt Motor Werks will always service my BMWs. read more

I continue to be impressed with this company. My engine light went on so I brought my car into Babbitt. They hooked up their scanner and read the codes and determined that it was a thermostat issue. Better yet, they told me that BMW had extended the warranty on that part to 10 years and would replace it for free but I had to take it into a BMW service shop. Once again, they had the opportunity to take advantage of me but did the right thing. read more

I've been using Babbitt for the last 5 years. They do a great job at a fair price and would highly recommend to anyone!

Zac and crew at Babbitt Motor Werks are the only mechanics that will ever touch my BMWs! Zac literally built my 135i with all the bolt-on and tuning modifications. They are specialists in being a factory trained repair center, but they can help you with modifications to your BMW as well. If you have questions about various modifications they'll give you their experienced answers, and will not just give you an answer according to a review. I feel extremely blessed that I have found an extremely honest, fairly priced, and factory trained BMW specialists that perform absolute immaculate work on your BMW/Mini. Danny is a fantastic shop manager and was nice enough to allow me to pick the brain of Zac concerning N54 modifications, what problems they have, and recommended maintenance to keep my 135i running perfectly. And, because of the expertise of Zac's work, my BMW 135i is running like a perfectly tuned machine! I also especially appreciate Zac's patience in answering all of my various questions. Again, no one except for Babbitt Motor Werks will ever perform service, maintenance, and repairs on my BMW. Brought my car in once again and Zac worked his magic installing my Koni struts and Eibach springs, new wheels and tires, plus an alignment. Zac also told me about recommended maintenance now and in the future. I'm very thankful that I have a go to guy who is knowledgeable (he's a genius) and extremely honest for all my BMW needs! Thank you Zac and Babbitt Motor Werks!!! read more
