Based on my brother-in-law's recommendation, we decided to try this place instead, and I'm glad we did. From the start, the experience stood out. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were surprisingly generous--something you don't often find at Italian restaurants. They also offer complimentary bread with a choice of soup or salad, which is becoming increasingly rare. Even more impressive, these weren't afterthoughts. The bread was perfectly crusty and served with a flavorful olive oil infused with tomato and garlic. Both the salad and chicken soup were fresh and well-prepared. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. I had the chicken Sorrento with prosciutto and mushrooms over pasta, and it was outstanding--well-balanced, flavorful, and cooked just right. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere without feeling overly formal. Service was quick, and our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout. The flavors bland, tomato sauce (tastes straight from the can) had no additional spices present and the pasta way over cooked. Seems their noodles are pre-cooked and Al Dente then is just not possible. This is another reason why the rating was just below average. Really disappointing. Would not be a place we would revisit.
