[[HIGHLIGHT]]Delicious, cozy, and full of Ukrainian vibes[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Homemade food with soul, every detail matters here Wide variety of gluten-free options + varenyky & pirozhky for every taste A place you'll definitely want to come back to again

I was so excited to take my parents to this place. As lovers of pierogis and being of Ukrainian descent, this was a very special meal for us. The borscht was deep, hearty, and earthy (in a great way), and lovely with a dollop of sour cream. The pan fried pierogis - both savory and sweet - were everything that we could ask for. The dough was firm yet chewy, the savory fillings were well seasoned, and the sweet pierogis (especially the blueberry) rounded out the meal perfectly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior of the restaurant was gorgeous, very calming and reminiscent of nature.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the person at the counter was very helpful in choosing between all of the delicious options. Ukrainian food is absolutely wonderful, and this is a great representation of the cuisine!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute place. Totally hidden away. If you don't know that you're going there and you don't have the address you will never just happen to come across it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their food is good, but nothing amazing. I started with borscht. I ordered it cold, the way I prefer. It was fine, but nothing amazing. I've certainly had much better. It was filled with lots of shredded beets and a nice amount of potatoes. But pretty bland overall. Then I had their lunch special...4 potato and onion Pierogies, a kielbasa, and 2 pickle halves. The pierogis were tasty but unfortunately deep fried. I would definitely have preferred them sautéed. They came with some sautéed onions which were very good but they were really skimpy with them. The kielbasa wasn't bad but very over cooked. I'd say they have potential but they've open for quite a while now so I kind of think it is what it is. Not really sure I'll be back.

Absolutely delicious! A hidden gem I wish I tried sooner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This quality, quaint, friendly-faced, homestyle Ukrainian spot is the best in every way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere, amazing pierogi, mushroom soup & chocolate chip pistachio cookies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is made fresh and the cashiers are super courteous. I will be back for more!

This is a wonderful quiet little restaurant tucked away off congress ave. The food is wonderful and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is warm and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is authentic and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Love is the only word I can use to describe this restaurant. I miss my grandmother very badly. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her and this restaurant really brought my grandmother back to life for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the lovely servers and people working here this restaurant is a touch of charm that needs to be cherished.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not a very big restaurant, but even though it's small on the inside, it's large in heart and food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started with a beautiful bowl of mushroom soup. It was warm and creamy and so satisfying. I probably could've ate another bowl but if I did I wouldn't have been able to eat my dinner. For dinner, I chose the potato and cheddar pierogies and an order of potato pancakes. Both were amazing. My pierogies were fluffy and just slightly al dente with a lovely creamy filling of potato and cheese, sautéed in lots of butter and onions. My potato pancakes were hot, really, really hot and crispy. A little salt and pepper on top and it brought me back to grandma's kitchen. This place is rightly named for Baba's kitchen is exactly what this is. They also offer breakfast and a plethora of desserts. None of which I was able to try because I was too full, but I will be back and I will be eating more. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. I think everybody needs to spend some time with Baba and this restaurant does just that.

WOW - this was one of my favorite finds on our recent visit to Delray Beach! Baba Pierogies is tucked away in a bit of a back alley, but don't let the location fool you, the inside is incredibly cute and highly photogenic. The family running the shop were very friendly, and I loved seeing them cooking together in the kitchen. The potato pancakes and pierogies were both INCREDIBLE and presented beautifully. I can't tell you how much I have missed eating pierogies since going gluten-free, and after struggling to try and recreate my own family's recipe, these really satisfied my craving and made my happy. I absolutely recommend that you give Baba Pierogies a visit whether you're a local or visiting from out of town.

This was such a cute find. It's truly a hidden gem. The food was delicious, fresh, and there are options for everyone. The service was efficient and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a window into the kitchen and you can quite literally see the chefs making pierogies by hand.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have dreamt of the creamy mushroom potato pancakes since eating them. If I find myself in the area, I will definitely be eating here!

If you enjoy pierogies, this is your place. They have so many delicious combinations (even vegan). We ordered a few to try fresh and some frozen to try later. They are made with love. I'll be back for sure.

OMG everything we tried was absolutely delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is so cute, lovely cafe area where you can eat what you buy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The best part is that they serve vegan options and understand vegan! By that I mean many places say they have vegan options and they give you dry toast and a head of lettuce. Not here, the vegan pierogies are the best pierogies I've ever had! Lovely young ladies working the counter, tastefully decorated shop! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful ambiance and very tasty food, but I wish the portion sizes were bigger for the prices. The kielbasa was the size of a hot dog, but tasted fabulous. I hope they get a little more flexible with switching types of pierogis though. We wanted to order some extra potato ones, but could only get them if we ordered with the kielbasa in the Baba's Special. It would be great if you could get any type of pierogis either alone or with the special. We cannot wait to go back and try the deep fried ones and the potato pancakes!

We got pierogis, gluten free pierogis, and gluten free potato pancakes. All of them were delicious, I can't believe how good the gf pierogis were. They're also safe for Celiac because they're prepared in a separate area of the kitchen - the reason why we stopped in. My wife has Celiac and she's Polish, so we didn't think she'd ever be able to have good pierogis ever again. She couldn't even tell that they were gf - and she's VERY tough to please with food. Highly recommend for anyone - gluten or gluten-free!

This is the first location of The Seed that I've been to, so I'm not sure how other locations compare, but this one was pretty small in general with limited seating inside. Luckily my fiancé and I got there while it was empty, so we were able to choose two of the four bar seats along the wall across from the counter. I had a latte with almond milk and house-made lavender syrup, and we each had a classic croissant sandwich. Latte with house-made lavender syrup: I really enjoyed this. My fiancé described this as a "mix of coffee and tea", which I think was fitting. The lavender syrup sweetened the coffee with light floral notes and the latte was a great balance between herbal, floral, and creamy overall. Classic croissant sandwich: The egg patty was pretty thick, I'd say just under a 1/2" thick. It was packed with bacon and cheese, and the sandwich was toasted the way I liked. The croissant was buttery and flakey, and overall I enjoyed the sandwich. There wasn't anything unique about the sandwich though, it was just a solid breakfast croissant sandwich that was made well. No special sauces or other ingredients. I guess that's why it's the classic. The staff was nice and pleasant, and our food and drinks were made in a reasonable amount of time. I do think the food and drink were a bit overpriced for what it was (our bill was ~$40 for two sandwiches and two drinks), but they say the ingredients are all locally sourced so I'm assuming that's why. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd certainly choose this The Seed over a larger chain coffee shop. Just know that the dollars can add up quickly here!

DO NOT COME HERE…read more They banned my autistic friend for saying "racial and religious" comments but wouldn't clarify to her what she said. She is literally the nicest person I've ever met and has literally been involved in almost every single progressive cause since I met her back at Columbia. She's hosted interfaith events with Christians and Muslims and Sikhs, worked on homelessness, even was recognized by the White House 2x for her work on homeless students by both Obama's DOE and Trump's DOE, has donated multiple summers time to work with predominately POC communities in Harlem, and we've even volunteered doing hundreds of hours of pro-LGBT activism to help genderqueer and trans people get equal rights at Columbia. But why was she banned? The owner wouldn't tell her. But she did mention that she made (according to the owner) "racial and religious" remarks and said that "we don't talk about those issues here." What racial comments? She's half Latino and one of her adoptive families is Arab/Indian. Nobody in my life, past 10 years, has said she's said anything even mildly offensive. This is why I'm so confused. She also said multiple other people complained about her. What could my 29-yo autistic friend say that was SO offensive to adults in Floridda that they felt they all had to report her? I hope we will find out in the coming weeks as we work with local rabbis and other business officials with the city. Thankfully the person who overheard Esta is coming with me to meet my rabbi in Boca and a discrimination official in two days days and we are going to see what we can do with the recording we have. Sadly, this comes down the human decency. My friend is distraught and is so sad she/we can't come back to the bar. She doesn't want trouble, she just wants to know what she did wrong. As an advocate for the neurodivergent community and my friend of many years, this to me is unacceptable. Please read up on neurodivergent kids and the struggles they face making friends and not accidently being offensive. If she really said anything offensive to someone's face, why not just pull her aside and explain why? Why wait till multiple people complain and then ban her? Not everyone is neurotypical and how is she supposed to fix her alleged behavior if she doesn't know what's wrong. This is really sad because she's been through so many years of therapy since college to even be able to talk in public and now she feels like she should hide. But I will not be taking my business here anymore. And I will be telling all the Jewish and Neurodivergent groups in Boca Delray and Pompano. It sucks because your green apple kratoms are so good. And the new cake is pretty good too. I really don't know what to make of this. After knowing her for almost 10 years and seeing her struggle to make friends, it's almost unimaginable that she would ever intentionally say something negative to someone's face and mean it. She is horrified that she may have offended someone and is traumatized by the whole thing. And you can't even tell her what she did wrong?
