Fun place; Great, food and service. We stopped in on a Friday night and were amazed. The menu is extensive. The food delicious. The homemade pita, hot and fresh from the oven with two sauces could have been a meal in and of itself. We shared appetizers and were so full, we didn't get to the entrees but from checking out nearby tables with the hanging kababs, it looked fantastic. The service was really great. Thanks Ross. I don't usually talk about a place before I've visited a few times but my first visit was memorable. Wasn't terribly hungry so I chose two apps but both were amazing and the service was head above shoulders the best I've had in a long time. The young lady was attentive, and extremely fast and efficient. The warm pita was delicious served with a very mild oil dipping sauce. The Phillo dough sampler so light, fresh and flavorful but those livers were delicious. A clay bowl of perfectly seasoned tender liver in an oil and pomegranate dressing garnished with fresh pomegranate seeds , just perfect. Organ meat isn't for everyone but that was perfection. First time there. Food was very good. Wife enjoyed her chicken, hummus, and salad. I had a wrap that was good. Ordered FF's to go with. They brought out all the food but the FF's. I was half way through eating my wrap when they brought the fries. They were homemade and good. BUT I like to have it all at one time. Service was slow. We went in hoping for good food but got great food. The mixed grill platter has 3 kabobs ( shrimp, chicken, koftA). With grilled vegetables, basmati rice and a salad. The house salad was great feta cheese , sumac and a great dressing. Salad was cold and crunchy lettuce with sumac just delicious. The shrimp were a good size not over cooked and seasoned well. The kofta( ground meat) was also well seasoned great flavor. The chicken was tender great marinade and cooked to perfection. The give you hot pita bread with olive oil and zatar seasoning. They have combo apps that i didn't get a picture oF but were a meal by it self for $24 you get 8 choices of cold or hot apps portions look small but eat big when combined with hot pitas. Pom Bom livers ( chicken liver cooked with pomegranate) just freaking delicious tender not over cooked. Must try if you like liver. Meal is a little more expensive than similar greek style dishes but the flavor is better on this occasion We will be back hope locals show some love and give I it a try. read more

If you enjoy Greek and Lebanese food, you will enjoy this experience. The only downer is that they sometimes have slow service.

An authentic Kabab experience!! From start to finish, this restaurant has it all!!! The Hummus is outstanding and the perfect compliment to the fresh out of the oven pita bread made in house!! Highly recommend the halloumi cheese appetizer and the kebabs are the highlight of the meal! Don't skip the dessert! The kunafa and oshta are lip smacking good!! Tonight ALL the servers were sitting at a corner table all on their phones laughing and having a good time. It's sad because the food is excellent. The kabobs and shawarma are excellent. Today my wife and I decided to try Baba Kabab. We really enjoy combination salads at Zeus and other restaurants and when the lunch menu showed a combination salad for $8.50 we decided to try it. The price seemed low but just thought it would be a small salad. Halle the waitress advised us that although the menu said $8.50 the salad would actually cost a little more because the meat was sold separately. We were used to paying between $13-20 in most places we were ok with it being a little more and failed to ask the price before agreeing. I was very surprised to get the check totaling over $66 for two salads and two drinks ordered from a lunch menu. After an upcharge to use a credit card and a proper tip since I didn't want the waitress to suffer for my mistake we paid over $83 for lunch. While it was tasty no salad is worth that much. This review is meant for the owner/management specifically but whatever, the public should see it too. I told myself I was not going to leave a review but hours later I'm still upset. I have been so excited to bring my dad to this place bc we have a love for this kind of food and atmosphere. I haven't been here in a couple years but I remembered the service being great. The man who seems to be the owner is one to come around to the tables and check on you. Love it! (Normally) today was an absolute dud. Our server was terrible. He ignored us for almost the entirety of the time. When I arrived at 1, the restaurant was very filled and obviously busy. I get how it is being in the weeds, trust me. But this guy would go 20 mins without even making eye contact to bring water, fresh pita, check on us in any manner.. to the point that when he finally did bring us two waters with lemon, we ordered a cold app sampler and he rushed me through it then ignored me for almost 20 mins again! When he finally came to check on us.. i was still being patient but the restaurant had emptied out by now.. I had to ask for a water refill, my dad wanted salt (was never brought to us in the 30 mins after), we asked for a fresh pita bread bc our app sampler was mostly all dips and he only gave us one for two people over a twenty min span. MEANWHILE ... I'm watching the booth next to us being waited on hand and foot. "Table 6" how do I know it's table six? Bc im literally watching every pita coming out be demanded by the owner to go straight to that booth .. who arrived AFTER I did lmao.. I thought my dad and I deserved even half of that service. This could have been our new spot to eat and catch up! I will say the food is delicious. But after waiting almost 30 mins to even try to give our server our entree order .. I watched three tables served their food before us. Meanwhile the booth next to us is still getting endless pita and dish after dish delivered to their table. You know, the people that arrived five mins after?? Anyway, the thing that really broke me was that I got the attention of the server for the booth next to us and asked if we could pleaseee get another pita bc we asked for one like 15 prior and it looked like our server forgot and wouldn't make eye contact still. Note: I said "hey, I'm so sorry but could you see that we get a pita? We asked for one so long ago!" When I tell you our server brought the fresh pita over five mins later and basically threw it from three feet away into the basket without a word or any eye contact at all... the disrespect was so uncalled for. I've been in the weeds. I get it. This man was not in the weeds anymore. I'm a very patient customer and usually have to calm my dad down about service. I was appalled. The owner finally makes his way over and I knew I was going to tell him about the service but we had been there so long and all that had happened before just made us lose our appetite and want to get out. He is taken aback that I want to cancel our entree order. (I even felt bad cancelling bc we had ordered it maybe atleast 10-15 mins ago) he sends our server back to ask us "oh you're cancelling, why?" And I begin to tell him when the owner comes back with a kitchen order receipt saying we only ordered less than five mins ago. Just bc your terrible server put the order in only a few mins prior, does not mean that's when we actually ordered it. They make the next five mins so awkward doubling down on the time thing and insisting on giving the entree order to us no charge. We decline it multiple times. He still brings it out in a Togo box. None the f*ing less, I still had my dad leave a tip. Beyond disappointed in this place that I've literally told sooo many people to try out. read more

At long last this place opened and I was able to give it a try. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at our experience. I would like to start off by saying that the service was excellent! We were kindly greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant and given a seat quickly. The waitress took her time explaining the dishes in detail and explaining how they were cooked as this was our first time at a restaurant like this. We ordered a variety of the kebabs and really enjoyed all of them. All of the food had very good flavor and was cooked well. The chicken was nice and moist and the cracked wheat side was great! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the jasmine rice, it was a bit undercooked and lacked flavor. The warm pita bread and hummus that they give you hit the spot. We will definitely be back to try the oven cooked meals (the menu says it takes 30 to 45 minutes to cook and we didn't have that long to wait). Me and my wife stopped to have lunch here the other day and let me tell you this quickly became one of my favorite places to eat in Lafayette. The staff was very nice and did a great job and even the owner came by after meal to see how everything was and we had nothing but positive things to say. We had the pita and oil and also the cheese for appetizer which was fantastic! Then our salads came and I ate my house salad as well as my wife's and I rarely pig out on salads but was that good. My wife had the chicken shawarma and she loved it and I had the combo kabobs of lamb and the seasoned ground beef and it was delicious! The hummus was also great and honestly I'm not a big of it usually, but ate all of it here. Anyways please go try this place, it is worth it!! read more

Highly recommend this restaurant! It's a family restaurant with their own recipes and flavors. The ingredients are fresh and the quality is great. The Angry Eggplant was delicious. My husband and I shared the Baba Going Crazy and everything on it was amazing! The lamb chops were the best I've ever eaten. It was so much food. Enough for leftovers to take home. The house salad and dressing was so delightful. The spices and flavors are Absolutely amazing! The service was top notch. Our servers were very knowledgeable about the menu items and made great suggestions.
