I like ordering the pad see ew and pad Thai when I'm trying a new place so I can compare it to other Thai restaurants and I've gotta say that this place just ranked at my top three!!! Awesome flavors! The lemon chicken is something that I don't usually order but I'm so glad that we did because it was so delish! First time here and the food was really good. The place is small but had a decent amount of tables. Our server Bell was awesome, she was the only one in the dining room and did an excellent job. We started with the Chicken Pot Stickers which was good. My sister had the Panang Curry Shrimp and she said it was it was really good. I had the Pad Woon Sen with Chicken and it was good as well. We split the Phuket Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken instead of Pork. It is a traditional dish with the pork but I wanted chicken and it was probably the best Fried Rice I've had. Who does not like Mango Sticky Rice. YUM!!! I took half my Pad Woon Sen and the fried rice home and it was just as good the next day as it was at the restaurant. My sister has been here several times, this was my first time here but will definitely not my last. It is worth the drive to go back here as the food was really good and Bell was so sweet and friendly. She had a great sense of humor and was helpful with the menu and even though she had 4 tables, she never rushed anyone and never missed a beat. I have been wanting to try Baan Baan for sometime but the location always made me question it. Baan Baan is located in a small strip mall off of Lake Mead and Rampart. It's kind of tucked away and I only noticed when exiting the parking lot via a way I don't normally go. The place is cute and reminds me almost of dining at someone's house. It's set up to do a lot of take out, you can tell. When I visited, there was only one service person working. She was busting her tail keeping everyone happy. I feel like she could have used some help. She was wonderfully friendly and very efficient. The food is terrific. The menu is varied and has pictures for visitors that may not be all that familiar with Thai cuisine. I ordered the Som Tum (Green Papaya Salad) and the Panang Curry Chicken. They have five different spice levels from 1 (not spicy) to 5 (Thai Hot). I ordered a level 4 (Hot) for both the Som Tum and the Panang Curry Chicken. I found the spice level to be quite strong (my head was sweating) which is what I wanted. Neither was too spicy that I didn't enjoy it. Very flavorful with a solid kick. The Som Tum was crisp and fresh. Delicious papaya with plenty of sauce and peanuts. The Panang Curry Chicken was served in a small bowl along side a plate of rice. It didn't look like a lot but I couldn't have eaten more even if it were bigger. The chicken was fresh and cooked tender, the green beans were crisp and the curry was rich and flavorful. If I had one wish, it would be that there was more chicken in the dish. It was ample and fair for the price, but there could have been more. I had a lot of curry sauce left but was left hunting for more chicken. Highly recommended. I think my new favorite Thai in Summerlin. read more

While offering all the classics, they also offer some interesting specialties such as the Pad Krapao. It was ground basil beef, which was perfectly seasoned and textured. The mango sticky rice featured deliciously sweet mango and warm delectable rice. The fried tofu was amped up by their spice rack. Baan Baan has the cutest decor that's super homey, warm and cozy. The touches of beige and pops of color just work. It's very welcoming and the fengshui flows very well. The space is very clean and the seating is soft. The Thai coffee was pretty balanced, not too sweet and just right amount of crème. We ordered the Thai papaya salad which was super saucy and had the right amount of spice. The Choo Chee Salmon hit the spot and loved the crispy salmon with the freshness of the bell peppers. We tried Baan Baan for the first time, via DoorDash, and had a positive experience. We ordered the: - pad thai - pad see ew - panang curry - papaya salad For the Pad Thai, we wanted bean sprouts and peanuts on the side - unfortunately it wasn't possible to add a comment directly via DoorDash so we ended up calling the restaurant. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and they were able to accommodate our request! Overall, the dishes were delicious and packed with flavor. My favorite was the pad see ew, which had plenty of veggies and chicken. It was also ready fairly quickly, so our order arrived earlier than expected. My husband got the lunch special but I ordered Pad Wen Soon from the regular menu. Each was $14. We got 2 Thai Ice tea. They charge his $3 and my $4.95 because I didn't get the lunch special. Been coming here for years. They are always welcoming. Quick bite before work. My usual is chicken basil or chicken noodle soup.

Shocking, humiliating, and unacceptable service. I came in alone and asked the waitress for help choosing between papaya salad, spring rolls, or soup. I asked four separate times to confirm that the soup contains coconut milk. She confirmed it every time. When the soup arrived, it was not coconut-based at all. When I pointed this out, she insisted: "No, this is what you ordered." I asked to replace it -- she refused. I asked for a manager -- "There is no manager." After I clearly said this was unacceptable, she told me she would try calling the manager again. She then came back and said the following: "The manager says we are willing to replace the dish, but only if you eat it outside. You are not allowed to eat here." Yes -- they literally kicked me out of the restaurant as a condition to fixing their mistake. I was publicly embarrassed, isolated, and treated like a problem customer for something that was clearly not my fault. I ended up being forced to pay $28.16 for food I never ate. This felt discriminatory, hostile, and deeply disrespectful. No accountability. No professionalism. No basic human decency. Absolutely disgraceful. Do not go near this place. Update: After this review was posted, the business contacted me privately with an apology and a refund. Publicly, however, the story was rewritten to suggest I was "ready to leave" and therefore offered a to-go option. That is false. I did not choose to leave. I was told the mistake would only be corrected if I did not eat inside the restaurant. That is not a misunderstanding -- that is removal. Listing soup names and menu definitions is a distraction from what actually happened: blame, refusal to fix the issue on the spot, and pushing the customer out instead of taking responsibility. A refund after public exposure is damage control, not accountability. I'm adding this so people can judge how problems are handled when things go wrong. read more

This was a pleasant surprise find for me. It was very clean inside and the service was amazing. I really felt like they cared. I ordered a drunken noodle and would say it was amazing, and a tom ka hot pot. I honestly wasn't overly impressed with the tom ka- didn't taste anything like tom ka and was a bit too sweet for my liking. Just ate here for dinner. Fantastic place. Food portions are plentiful, with enough to take home for lunch. Quality was also there at an extremely reasonable price; which is shocking, considering what prices are nowadays. Also, usually not something I comment on, but a lot of places in Vegas serve terrible, chlorinated table water. These guys have a filtration system or something, because their water was actually pleasant to drink. And when you get the spicy stuff, having your palate cleanser tasting good is definitely a plus. Came here with guests for lunch twice this month. The first time, I noticed and mentioned it to our server, that the Panang curry (I picked soft tofu as my protein) had improved and the sauce is thicker this time compared to how watery it was when I had tried it for the first time last year. However, the next time I tried the exact same entree this past Thursday, the consistency was watery again. Taste was still good but I wish they had been consistent and prepared the Panang curry with a thicker sauce. The weekday lunch specials are always good but I was quoted $3.50 to substitute white rice with brown rice so I opted not to. I remember they had purple rice last October and at no extra charge. The soups that come with the lunch specials vary and have all been good. Crab fried rice, Pad See Ew, Baan Baan fried chicken, and Tom Kha soup were all very good. Servers were all excellent and patient. We'll come back here for the good service, lovely ambiance, location -- and the food (but please be more consistent especially with the Panang Curry -- don't make it watery!). read more

I ordered chicken pad Thai it was served with an egg roll and a soup, all at the same time which was a buy off putting the had an assortment of veggies In it but was luke warm the egg role was greasy but at least it was hot the pad Thai lacked everything from taste heat and overall experience I have eaten this dish many times a spice number is often asked I always get the top offered one here , when I asked for chile oil they brought 4 condiments but none was the one requested. it seems Saracha is offered everywhere but it does not always help the food your eating. this place needs to discover its Thai spice none of which was offered today . buyer beware if you like bland food . read more

We came here for lunch today. It wasn't busy. My In-laws discovered this place recently. They really liked their meals and recommended it to us. My husband and I are visiting from out of town. Anyhow, we ordered Chicken Satay, Moo Ping Set (grilled pork & sticky rice), Chicken Pad Thai, Ginger Stir-Fry w/Chicken, and Papaya Salad (Spicy/Lao style). My mother-in-law also had a Thai Iced Tea. I'm giving them 4 Stars for service and the Lao Style Papaya Salad. Our Server was very friendly and asked us if we had any questions. I asked her if they use fresh Thai chili peppers for the papaya salad, and how many is considered "medium" and "spicy." She said that their recent batch of fresh chili peppers are extra spicy, so she recommends 1-2. I insisted that they use 3 fresh chili peppers (considered spicy). I was glad I insisted on the 3 peppers because the papaya salad turned out great! It was authentically spicy and flavorful. Now, the rest of the people in my party couldn't eat the salad, but it was just right for me! I also had the Moo Ping Set; grilled pork skewers w/sticky rice. The sticky rice was cooked perfectly. The flavor of the pork was fine, but I didn't care for the texture. It was too chewy and tough. The rest of the party said their food was great. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated in modern chic w/Thai themed items. I'd definitely return and try different entrees with the extra spicy papaya salad. read more
