He said, bring it in and we will get it done in between jobs and it would take 3 days. We are on the 12th day now and my car wasn't even started. I called multiple times and Nick continued to tell me they are going to be working on it. I was told it would be done on 4/20 and at 4 PM I called and he said, oh my guy is working on it right now and will be working on it into the night. Funny thing is I drove into Pottstown through Stowe and found my car at another detailing shop that I wasn't told my car was going to or authorized to move it to. I confronted Nick on 4/21 and he flat out lied to me last night and continue to say he was doing all he could to help me out. Lying and being deceitful about what is going on isn't helping me. Be up front and honest with your customers if you want them back. I would not recommend this business to anyone for detailing work.

My local garage recommended Stauffer's, so I drove it over after calling. The guys were just about ready to go home for the day (I just caught them), but they took the time to crawl under the van and have a look. He noted the problem, said I'd need at least a partial frame replacement (cut a section off a donor frame and weld it in place), quoted me a price I think was pretty reasonable, considering, and we scheduled an appointment for about 1.5-2 months later, the earliest he could fit me in, plus he needed to source a frame. Fast forward, it's time to drop off the van. He finally gets it up on the lift and can now see that the rust has gotten to the mounts and other areas, and it's unfortunately not something that can be repaired. At least, not affordably considering the age/value of the van. So, I'm disappointed, but understand, and I go to pick up my vehicle. When I asked him what I owe, he said $0. I argued he had to put time in to looking at it, sourcing the part, etc. but he refused to take anything. You don't often find people with that kind of integrity, and we're blessed with a couple of them in my area -- my regular mechanic and this guy. When I arrived, the scratches had been sanded down and sloppily covered with black paint. There was no paint on the scratches when I was there the previous evening so it was clear someone had tried to cover them up before we returned. The owner lied to my face and said those scratches were there when we dropped the car off and that he hadn't done anything to try to cover them up since the previous evening.
