I going to this restaurant too many time when I want to eat real Korean food I love it. Every time I went there I always got serve from the old lady I think she is the owner she very nice and kind all the time. But today I have a girl hang out with my friend our group Of 4 people. We arrived there for 3 first and asked for a table for 4. On that time they have 4 tables of customer include us. We got serving from young lady that her face not welcome at all. We talk to her very nice but she did not want to say anything to us just make face like she so annoy and pissed. We sit there almost 20 minutes without asking for a drink. I try to look at her and call her when she walk by but she pretend like she did not hear us. Until the old lady look at to us and ask her server to come check when she came to us and ask what we want? I told her can we order some drink. Suddenly she look at us and ask us that we have 4 people right? Why not waiting for 1 more coming!!! Dang !!! What a service like this??? We can not get the drink until everybody here for real??? And same she took our drink order and come back to the counter and do too many thing she can do like she very busy but can not bring us the drink. We try to calm down because we don't want to ruin our lunch. Finally we decided to order before our lady friend coming and we order too many dish for sharing and we did not get any attention to service , no refill our drink that we have to asked for , no smiling on her face only mean face when she came to us. I really don't understand about that. But for other table most of them are Korean she seem very nice and kind. But not for us. By the way their food still good as same and I can give 5 stars for that but not for this young waitress. I left a good tip but not for her if she can see my review I want her to know all the tip I would like to give to the cook in the kitchen !!! read more

Great food, love the spicy tofu soup. Friendly service. My favorite Thai restaurant in the area.

Best Korean food in the state. I love everything here. Good service. Always busy but they operate quickly. Never a bad wait.

The food at B Won is phenomenal and comes in large portions. Service is prompt and pleasant. The restaurant is clean, selection is extensive, and prices are excellent. It also appears to be family owned and operated. No idea why the overall average is below 5 stars. read more

We are regulars at B Won. It's our go to for Korean food! Great food and people!! I meet a childhood friend here once a month for lunch.

We drive thirty miles to get here every few weeks just so I can enjoy the smells and flavors of my youth. My next door neighbor's mom was the Korean wife of an Army officer and she made incredible meals and kimchee. I am so thankful she encouraged my ten year old self to try things not made by the average American. B Won takes me back to that kitchen many years ago. read more

B-Won set the bar with Korean food for me, and have not had better in Oklahoma. In Houston out of the several places I ate there was one that was as good to slightly better, but i just think the meat market in Texas is slightly better than Oklahoma. B-Won brings out a great selection of side dishes and my favorite one is the mushy potato one with the glaze on it; they're all great though. They have cooking stations in the tables and you can order raw meat and cook it at your table and that dish is served with lettuce leaves to make lettuce wraps. This blew my mind the first time I had it and was before lettuce wraps were hip, so I was excited to understand the concept once it went viral. They have some of the most flavorful soups you'll ever eat, and all of the marinades they use for the chicken, pork, and beef are phenomenal. Be careful of their spicy food because it's spicy, and not like Thai food where you ask for a specific level of spicy you like. The parking lot is easy in and out with two entry/exits. You can make it here easily from I-40 and I-35 since they sit right next to two main roads. read more

Such great food! Very yummy! We met friends here for dinner and found the casual atmosphere nice and the food wonderful! We wish they would offer adult beverages to compliment the food, but the food does stand on it's own. Just a personal preference for us to wish they offered adult beverages. read more

Definitely a delicious place for Korean cuisines and a memorable experience. I always enjoy my visit here. My absolute favorite dish is the short ribs. I love that they bring out more side dishes (banchan) than other Korean places. Their side dishes has more veggie varieties like pickled radish, Kim chi, cucumbers, bean sprouts, and sweet potatoes (my fave). It's a fun place to take the whole family. Service is incredible and the ladies here are so sweet! The only thing that prevented me from giving them five stars is their prices are equal to other Korean places but their hot pots, bowls, dishes, and plates are a lot smaller and contain fewer food. Otherwise, I enjoy coming here and will return in the future. read more

This is a hidden GEM! I have lived in OKC for 4 years and this is the best Asian style food I've had. It's in a smaller sized build but it's not crowded inside. The food was so good. It got better ever bite. I got the Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap dish. It comes with an array of sides to add to the steamy clay cot full of rice and beef! You add the sides, stir it up and get like crazy! I will be coming back.... Often read more

Ate here for the first time today and I am sad I only just discovered this place. The Friday special is amazing. Can wait to eat here. This is now my second favorite Korean restaurant read more

I absolutely cringe when I have to make poor reviews, but this establishment was disappointing to say the least. This evening was my second time ordering from the restaurant, and the service was despicable. In other reviews, people had mentioned that the ladies were courteous and attentive - my experience was the absolute opposite. There was no hospitality, no greeting, just blank stares from the staff, as I waited by the front cashier stand. I stated I had an order to-go to one of the waitresses, and what does she do? She pulls out her purse and ignores me. The second waitress did not verbally address me but gave me my bag to-go along with my receipt. I grab a pen, and before the pen reaches the receipt paper, that second waitress snatches the pen from my hand for her personal use on writing another ticket. I was appalled, but I grabbed another pen from a cup, and then she lightly tosses the pen back at me (yes, there was more than one pen for her to take but she snatches the one out of my hand) Why?!? Why snatch that pen when I was using it? It's one thing to receive poor customer service, it's another to receive poor-quality food. I had order two gal-bis, both orders were bland and the amount of meat given was minute. And when I say minute, it's minuscule. The meat was mostly bone too, and they layered only 3 piece of meat to cover the bones and cabbage below. They only fill the to-go tray 1/2 way. So you receive only meat that fill ups 25% of the box. The other 25% is cabbage. The only positive: I enjoyed the side dishes such as kimchi, cucumber kimchi, pickled daikon, and bean sprouts. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I would prefer Dong-A or Korean House over this mediocre place any day. This appears to be a family-owned business; I am all for supporting local family businesses but this establishment was ridiculous. It appeared the two waitresses had been arguing with one another and taking their anger out on customers, and was completely and utterly unprofessional. read more

B Won - only filled half the tray; and of the 1/2 - it was mostly cabbage and bone. They only layered three pieces of actual meat on top. - Korean Near Me - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

I have been here a couple of times and enjoy the food! Service is usually very nice and accommodating... the Korean ladies are kind. I will say we had a run in with a woman who worked there that was very rude regarding parking outside the building. (She blocked us in and then demanded we leave immediately although we were trying to put away our things and sort out GPS stuff. She also made it difficult for me to back out without having an accident!) Other than that, I have had no issues. But the food is delicious; I recommend their lunch specials if you can make it - Mon to Fri from 11am-2pm. The spicy rice cake (dukbokki) are yummy! Banchan are great and they usually refill them if they notice it's gone. They are starting to add new things to their menus so keep an eye out for the additions placed somewhere on the table or near the door. Parking lot is a bit small, just so you know. read more

While traveling for business in Oklahoma City we found this quaint, modest Korean barbecue. The inside is cute and neat, and the food was delicious !! The service was friendly, attentive and helpful in making recommendations. read more

This place doesn't have your regular restaurant atmosphere. I don't know how to explain it but the feeling isn't there. My first visit to this place I ordered the Friday Special. Apparently, they have a special for each day of the week. I think the Friday one is beef bulgogi. I'm not new to rice, I eat it basically everyday. This Friday Special came with some rice, beef, and an egg. It cost about $10 for this. I definitely don't think that an egg, some rice and a small portion of beef is worth that much money. So the price here definitely seems a bit high. I also feel that they didn't give a lot for food for something that costs $10. They waitresses don't seem to know English very well so they can't answer all of your questions. The chopsticks provided are flat, which I've never seen before. It makes it much harder to use, even for someone who grew up using them. During my 2nd visit, they had a bit more customers so they were running around trying to provide service as fast as possible. There are only about 1-2 waitresses working here. So if you need something, don't wait patiently for them to come ask if you need anything. They'll be too busy running around and won't be able to offer you any assistance. Something that they provide with their food is this hot sauce bottle. They don't have enough bottles to accommodate everyone. During our meal, the waitress just runs up to our table and asks if we still need it. We told her that we didn't need it so she just snatched it and gave it to other customers. This doesn't seem very professional all. read more

Such a great authentic Koren food restaurant. I took my grandma whose never been big on Asian food other than your typical Chinese and she loved it! She picked the beef fried rice. I had the Bimbop that was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. The small plates are always a plus and their kimchee was awesome. Not only was the food great but the unsweetened tea we ordered was some of the best I've ever had. Cant beat this place for authentic Korean food for the price and taste. read more

Sometimes it's hard to find great Korean restaurant. This one is the real deal. I love their lunch boxes which includes your choice of meat, rice, kimchi, tempura veggies, and an egg roll. Recommend to anyone who loves authentic Korean food. read more

The food is generally good but not great. I did think the short ribs were delicious though. I did enjoy them. I thought the spicy beef soup (youj kae jang)wasn't as delicious as I hoped for. I also did not think it was spicy. I have come here one other time and it was decent. I loved how I saw the older gentleman who is the owner pray with a Asian family in the Korean language. It just seemed like they were a sweet family that runs it. At one point so many years ago i use to drive up to Midwest city just to eat the food here because i love Korean food and the selection of restaurants were slim pickings. Now with so many to choose from it isn't as great to me. Would I come again? Sure! Would it be my 1st choice? No. read more

I tried the food at B-Won before I spent a week in Seoul, just so I could compare it to the "real thing". Imagine my delight when there was absolutely no difference! This is my all-time favorite Korean restaurant because of its authenticity and consistency. The place is a definite hole-in-the wall, but it is for SURE a hidden gem! The waitress that usually serves me is attentive and chatty, and around my third time there asked if I wanted my "usual" right when I walked in! She continues to check up on me whenever I visit - I've now moved out of state - and remembers my order. I've probably been here over 15 times! The prices are to be expected for any good Asian restaurant, but the portions are easily enough for two meals, and it's great to take the extra home! I recommend this to everyone I know who wants a new place to try out, even if they're not familiar with Korean food. 10/10 for me! Would Definitely Recommend! :D read more

2 Stars is an even average of the service and the food. This wasn't my first, nor my second shot at Korean cuisine. Based on the other Oklahoma Korean restaurants that I had been to, the food was average. I ordered the Bulkekee and my boyfriend had the Pork Bulkokee. Neither were bad. I ended up taking half of my food home to be finished later. My boyfriend ate all of his. The pork was a tad spicy. The bf compared the beef to tasting like beef jerky; my taste buds couldn't wander from the thought once heard. There was plenty; however, the $13 per plate was a bit much, considering the amount and taste of the food. If I'm ever in the area looking for a snack I may stop by, but only for an order of the Kim Bap (Sushi roles seaweed with beef & vegetable). It was rather tasty. Neither the beef nor the seaweed was chewy or hard. For $5.99 you get quite a few. The service was terrible. We had a rather large group (filled the entire back section), but other than us, there were only 2 other tables of 3-4. The waitress seemed like she was keeping busy with wiping past tables down, filling things in the back, etc, but I waited over 30 minutes for her to come by with our ticket. Even longer for water. I only had a total of two glasses (not even completely full) and had to ask for both of them. Post Post Thoughts The person that got our group together for this evening "got the 3rd degree from the Korean owner" because there were 3+ items that weren't paid for by the time he paid to leave (he was the last of about 20 people). I blame the restaurant for this. We ended up going to the front where the owner(?) stood with one long ticket with all of the items that were ordered. As people came up to tell him what they ordered, he ticked things off. Hopefully this restaurant will soon figure out some service skills. read more

This is one of few places that allow you to grill your own Korean ribs. Yakiniku kind of atmosphere, which is what I miss from my trips in Asia. Food is tasty, from the apps to the entrees. Be careful when you see the spicy signs. They tend to overdue sometimes. I got 1 soup and it was inedible. Gyoza is a must have as well as the bimbimbop. Lastly, order by the numbers on the menu. Avoid the confusion from mispronouncing the dishes names, because it will happen. read more

What we ordered: My husband introduce me this restaurant when I was craving for rice. We ordered a Bibimbap, grill chicken rice and sushi. First of all, they serve several tiny dishes of kimchi and veggies. Like most of the Korean restaurant, it could be unlimited refill. It tastes okay. Starter- Sushi with beef inside, I feel like it is prepared for a while before serving...I don't really into it honestly, but I would say that is not bad. Both of the main dishes are the best dishes of the meal. I think the Bibimbap could make customer return again and again. It is inside a hot stone bowl with abundant pork and veggies, their seasoning is great, I don't even need to add any sauce. Other best dishes- grill chicken smells good and looks great. The grill chicken is in a dish with a bowl of white rice. I believe this is a dish which is suitable for people who are not very into Asian cuisine. I use their paper napkin to clean my lips after the meal, and I found that there is some dirt stick on paper napkin. Ruin my mood. Anyway, food taste pretty good, still 4 stars. Time: Dinner Person: 2 people without waiting Staff: Nice Price: within $40 for two Will return or not: Probably read more

My husband and I went to Korea last year and that's where we discovered our love for Korean food. We decided to search for a good Korean restaurant in the Oklahoma City area and came upon this place. I had the Daem Jang Cheekae (bean sauce soup) and my husband had the Japchae (stir fried sweet potato noodles with beef and veggies), plus all of the side dishes. I must say, this place did not disappoint. My soup was fresh, hot, and savory and left my tummy feeling very satisfied on a cold day. It was just what I had been craving and was very similar to what I had eaten in Korea. Full of probiotics--good for the body! I didn't try my husband's dish, but he said it was very good and the beef in his noodles had a classic bulgogi taste. The side dishes were also very fresh. The ladies who run this restaurant are obviously very authentic Korean cooks and their food shows it. With that being said, they are somewhat robotic when it comes to running their restaurant, so don't expect a lot of small talk from them. They may not be the most "bubbly" of people but their food is very very good. The restaurant itself is older and not necessarily up-to-date aesthetically, but it was charming in a Korean/homey kind of way. It didn't bother me at all. I can't wait to go back. read more

Surprisingly delicious! Grabbed their lunch special to go, the pork bulgogi (is that how it's spelled?) came with kimchi, pickled cucumber, and various other pickled veggies (I'm a fan) their rice is awesome too, I wish I got more. I didn't experience any of the horrible service people are complaining about. If anything the waitress I had was very friendly and funny. Some of you need to understand that some of the staff working here may not speak English as their first language so to those that are complaining about BROKEN ENGLISH, sorry but not all of us are fluent here in the US. That's ridiculous to complain about that. Their "broken English" might come off as blunt or rude but I'm sure that's not the intention. As for the food, I really enjoyed my spicy seafood soup and chewy rice cake. They brought out all of our side dishes before main entrees and I was pretty full by the end. Pretty authentic in my opinion. Definitely will return to try again. read more

I have had no rice for 4 days. I wanted to have something spicy with rice. I went there at around 1230 and wow! the restaurant was totally full. 90% of people were having bulgogi stone bibimbap. Well... when in Rome, do as the Romans do. It came out, obviously in a stone pot, rice, bulgogi, a fried egg on it and a korean traditional spicy sauce called "Gochujang". That was it; usually, bibimbap comes with 4-5 vegetables and one (optional) meat for two reasons: balanced nutrition mostly and presentation. I admit that bulgogi (beef) portion was generous and eventually the taste was ok overall. A majority of people were air force soldiers and if they asked for more protein than vegetables and so the restaurant chose to do so, it is ok. But if it is about cost saving, I have to say that it causes a lack of authenticity, health concern and taste (though it may differ). Of course, I can't judge this restaurant by one food, so I am willing to try it later again. By the way, salute to the soldiers! You are the ones that keep this country alive. Thanks a bunch:) read more
