When I researched RW Hartman, I found that he is the "go-to" guy for pool removals. Communication was great EVERY step along the way. He was extremely careful to avoid any collateral damage in my yard. Due to a high water table, my yard was spongey and he put down appropriate steel plating to prevent any equipment from sinking. When he dug out the pool bowl, he got a pump on it to remove the water. In just one day, he had the removal completed.. pool, fence, even the 30-year-old-shed! Then we just had to wait on the township construction inspection (required in my state, to ensure that no debris is being buried). Once we had the go-ahead, he put in some stone to stabilize the excavation. Several days of rain prevented the rest of the backfilling, but as soon as we had dry weather, he immediately pumped out, filled and compacted the hole, applied topsoil, raked and seeded. All the debris was cleaned up. I had forgotten how large my yard really was! I found Rob (the "R" in RW Hartman) to be a very friendly guy, who really cares about his work. He is a great communicator. His work is GREAT! I cannot recommend him strongly enough! I wish I could give him 10 stars!

John Shaltens came out to give me an estimate to run a 350 foot lateral from a soon to be…read moredecommissioned cesspool into the township sewer. There were a number of delays (Ida, Covid and then the State) but John stuck through it and his team finally installed the lateral 3 weeks ago. I cannot praise the Shanahan & Luff team enough. They were prompt, friendly and skilled. After hooking up the sewer and backfilling the trench the team came back and put topsoil down, seeded and then covered the seed with straw matting. After 3 weeks, except for the new clean out vents, it is becoming nearly impossible to see where the work took place. When the Shanahan & Luff team left there was not a scrap of material left onsite.
