There's also a lot to do here: a splash park (in season), a golf course, bike paths, fishing, tennis, pickleball, and bocce. There are pavilions available for parties, along with grills and picnic tables for a BBQ. One of my favorite spots is the Rose Garden. It wasn't open on this visit (the sign noted an April 15 opening), but peak bloom is in June, and it's worth coming back for. Bottom line: A well-maintained park with something for everyone.

I was pleasantly surprised when they said that ordering me one from their supplier would be no problem, and that I should check back on Friday, the next Tuesday at the latest. So began a month long saga of me calling them, being told it would be on such and such a day (usually one within a week) and to call back then, only to be told the same bloody thing when I did. In all honesty I lost count how many times I did this. It was at least four. When I finally started to complain about being lead on the people I spoke to claimed zero responsibility for the issue. They claimed it was a miscommunication both between staff and their supplier (and this miscommunication was somehow not the store's problem). They also seemed not to understand why I was pissed that what I ordered was not in when they said, and that there was no indication it ever would be. In fact they ranted to me as much as I ranted to them (which in all honesty I bet a lot of other retail people wish they could do). I also know for a fact that this is not the first time something like this has happened with them. My mom ordered rabbit bedding from them and was continually lead on in exactly the same fashion. So yeah, if you're looking for rodent materials, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. And if you are looking for something aquatic they don't have in stock, DON'T SPECIAL ORDER. At the very least don't put any money down, because odds are they are never going to deliver.

I would even say that the friendly young men who helped my friends and I went above and beyond to explain things, and make sure we had a great experience! The whole area is peaceful and full of charm. Safe. No trouble makers here! The paved rose labyrinth is lovely to wander through and even if one area is busy, there's always another path to enjoy. It's accessible for children and even strollers with a little care. Check out the surrounding grounds for interesting evergreen cultivars like the Pinus wallichiana 'Zebrina' Himalayan Pine. If you have children, look for the sensitive plant near the stone hardscape...they'll love gently touching one leaf to see it close up. Just be kind to it since it takes time to reopen and continue photosynthesizing/let other kids experience it.

We did the Dragon Castle and in the first ten minutes there was a puzzle solution that is now #1 on my list of neat physical solutions to a puzzle! The rest of the room was excellent quality. The entire room sucked you into the theme very well. The quality of props, puzzle pieces, and decorations were fantastic. The pacing was just right, the puzzles were the perfect difficulty. You were never overwhelmed with things you didn't need to use yet. I think the best part was that this was not just a room of keys and locks, there were physical puzzles which were outstanding! We were a smaller group, my two pre-teens who had a few escape rooms of lesser quality under their belt, and their newbie Grandma. Everyone had a blast! Can't wait to try the other rooms.

We had a really great time here. I would definitely go back and absolutely recommend this place to my friends and family!! The Peters Brook Greenway is a paved trail that winds through Somerville, following the course of…read moreits namesake creek. The Greenway provides pockets of greenery throughout the borough, offering a welcome respite from the bustling streets and sidewalks. When I go for strolls I enjoy being able to walk between both the Greenway and Somerville's picturesque streets, since it is integrated nicely within the street grid. The 7.1-mile trail is bounded by the Raritan River Greenway on one end, and Clarks Woods, a small nature preserve with a parking lot, on the other. Via the two greenways, you can walk or bike directly from Somerville to the nice trails and parks at Duke Farms in neighboring Hillsborough. Overall, the Peters Brook Greenway is a wonderful amenity for both residents and visitors, contributing to what makes Somerville such a unique and special place.
