This was hands down one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. B Nail felt disorganized, rushed, and completely unprofessional from start to finish. The staff acted annoyed the moment I asked a basic question, and customer service was basically nonexistent. The work itself was sloppy--uneven shaping, poor attention to detail, and zero care taken to make sure the result looked decent. It honestly felt like they just wanted to get me out of the chair as fast as possible, not like they cared about quality at all. The place didn't feel welcoming, relaxing, or worth the money. I left disappointed, frustrated, and wishing I'd gone literally anywhere else. I got a full set and a pedicure. There isn't any extra sitting area to wait. I've now gone back for a full on my original set. Original set lasted a solid 3 weeks. I'm so disappointed in the customer service & overall professionalism exhibited from some of the male staff members. I now drive to either Newport or McMinnville for my pedicure. Then my mani is literally just cleaning my nails and cutting the cuticle skin and filing. Can't do that right, I then said I also had a pedicure which he didn't want to do. And rushed through that. My final amount for a regular pedicure and a manicure that looks worse then what it was to begin with was $69 dollars, he didn't even have to put nail polish on and literally missed ever other finger to remove the cuticle skin. Also because I was upset I spoke up saying this doesn't seem fair to the services I paid for, so he didn't like that and As I preceded to leave. He wants to yell in Vietnamese at me like my step dad isn't. Which in reply in Vietnamese không. Meaning "NO" You won't talk to me like this. NO Absolutely not appropriate and beyond unprofessional of any establishment. My family has lived in Lincoln city for over 15 years. I am over this place and the way they can't do nails. I was wanting a basic pedicure. No polish just clean up my feet and clip my nails. And it was a terrible experience. And I paid $42 for it! I have mobility issues and I can't straighten my foot so i apologized about the turned foot but tried to explain my foot doesn't work. The guy soaked my foot but didn't clean off any of the dead skin cells. (Which is the purpose of getting a pedicure) so I'll have to give myself another pedicure when I get home. So thankful they were able to get my son in for a pedi. He had an ingrown toenail that hurt so much. All of the places for pedis were already closed when he told me last night so I called B Nails this morning and they squeezed us in at 9:30 am when they opened. My son said it was instant relief! Now he's getting a full pedi for the 1st time and enjoying it. So thankful to them! By the way, I read some other reviews on Yelp before booking. Some people said they aren't friendly and over-book themselves. We did not experience this at all. They all were friendly when we walked in and the receptionist checked her schedule on every call and walk in. She told everyone the same thing - she was busy until 1:00 pm today so the next appointment would be 1:00 or 2:00 pm. Even the regular who walked in! Horrible place to get your nails done. They do not pay attention to your nails and do a sloppy job. They are very rude and harsh. I was laughing with my girlfriends and the person who was doing my nails said, "You don't talk to your friends. You are moving to much." and he turned off my massager. My daughter got French tips and there were bubbly and uneven tips. They were very sloppy and strict. I was hovered over by a lady there because I filed down a hang nail. No callous removal, little massage and some rocks. It was fine, just not amazing. The guys seemed like maybe they weren't to thrilled to be there lol. So if you have low expectations it will be fine. I am traveling from out of town and arrived for an acrylic fill on my nails. my nail technician, a woman in a black and white checkered jacket, shoved a fake nail tip between my nail and some lifting acrylic, and popped a few of my nails off like that. It hurt so bad!! I'm used to lifting acrylic being filed off and filled in again. I've never had anyone remove an acrylic nail by peeling TONS of layers off a nail bed by ripping it off the nail!!!! I was just getting ready to tell her to stop and ask her to buzz it off instead, when she shoved the nail between the acrylic and my nail bed on my pinky finger, and instead of popping the nail off, it ripped a huge chunk of my nail bed off the side of my nail and started bleeding. After I inspected it in alarm, she got out her cuticle clippers and snipped the flap of nail bed off, and offered the following comfort: "It's okay. That's where I'll glue a tip on and it'll grow out okay." Ummmm... NO THANKS!!! Germs. Blood. Pain. All sealed under an acrylic nail tip and nail glue?!? I was very alarmed and did not allow her to continue work on my nails and left after she insisted I pay $10 for the acrylic removal. WHAT?!? I was visiting for the first time on a girls trip. We had 5 women. I called the morning of our availability and left messages w 2 salons who never called me back. I called B Nails as soon as they opened and they were able to fit all of us in! The quality of the pedicure and nail gel was exceptional. B Nails was so amazing. My mother, sister and I took my daughter for a pedicure because it was her 7th Birthday. We made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. They were kind when greeting us and followed the distancing requirements. They were sweet and fun to chat with during our pedicures. When they found out it was my daughter's birthday they gave her a nail polish and also painted her finger nails in addition to her pedicure. They took our pictures and sang the birthday song to her. Upon walking in the woman at the front desk was not welcoming and acted as though I was bothering her. A gentleman spoke up and stated he would take me. He did an amazing job and based only on him, I would come back when in town. However, when I asked for a simple design, I was told no and given an excuse that was not correct. I have had that design at my normal spot....and what she stated was not right. I watched her with other people and she was just rude. Called three hours ahead of time to get an appointment for a hard gel manicure. I made it very clear on the phone that I had hard gel not just gel polish. Lady on the phone said oh no, we don't do hard gel and I asked what she could do and they said they would have to remove it and they could do solar. So, I said OK got an appointment for 3pm knowing full well since my last appointment (which was 40 minutes late but a great pedicure) and other reviews that I would have to wait. No problem, I could go grocery shopping next door while I wait. Went in and five people were there either getting pedicures or waiting to get pedicures, and only three staff. So I asked, are you running behind? Told to pick a color and sit down. I sat, waited about 20 minutes. Guy came over to my table told me to pick a color. I made sure he knew that I have hard gel on that it would need to be removed. He didn't understand and nodded and told me to pick a color. I again tried to explain to him that I have hard gel on not just gel polish. He took a look at my nails, and I again explained it and let him know that it would need to be removed and would need solar. He thought I didn't want job polish and told me to go look at the other polishes on the other side of the room. He left and came back, and I explained again just to make sure because he seemed to not understand. He finally understood I think and said "oh noooo" and shook his head. that was it! I got up and said, no, you're not touching my hands. I wasted 35 minutes drive there, 20 minutes Waiting for my appointment another 35 minutes to get home and the gas to and from.. not happy. I just don't understand why people don't say no, we can't do that before they tell you to come in. Or they tell you oh, no, we don't want to do that, before you come in. Or have the person that talks to the client speak English and understand English. Very disappointing waste of time and money. Gas is not cheap people! read more
