this is the only place that takes care of my ingrown toenails. Tina is fast and is fabulous nail tech.

My first time there and I was so upset. I asked for the acrylic to be removed and 1 nail to be fixed. The lady said ok and as she was doing it like a fill in I kept saying no I want it all removed. There was a kid running around making noise so not relaxing at all. The nail tech did nothing I asked for all though I was communicating to her the whole time seems she didn't know any English but yes and ok. I left and called from the parking lot asking for someone who spoke English to talk to. A man got on the phone and I asked if he had time to meet me outside to look at my nails. He came out and said sure I'll fix the one nail for you but all were messed up. They need someone who can communicate to their customers correctly so no one leaves feeling like I did. I have been three times and was very satisfied the first two times. The man doing the work did not speak much English but understood what I wanted. The second time was a woman who was also very good. The third time was not great at all. My manicure is still holding up so I have no complaint about it. The problem is that the third worker told me she did not have the exact color nail polish for my toes but had found a close color. I told her to use it. It was not a close color at all. Another problem was that she had to stop to attend her baby. The third problem was that she was watching a video/movie on her phone while working. Made appointment with my daughter and they started hers while I sat and waited for guy to finish eating and smoking. Then he sat and took a break while surfing Facebook. I was not happy with how long it took and got very little of the attention to massage that my daughter got. Glad for her but sucked for me. read more

Everything was good and the nails were nice except the fact that they charged my card twice which at first wasn't an issue until I called to let them know which the owner replied for me to come in the following day which I did he proceeded to tell me he didn't care and that it was whatever and wanted me to come back the following week which I replied that I needed my refund because he told me he would give it to me the next day. He then proceeded to give me attitude and tell me he didn't care about my money and I could call the cops for all he cared he did not give me a refund but another worker who was amazing let a customer that knew how to work the machine give me a refund. I will for sure not be coming back here & absolutely do not recommend this place mainly because the owner stated he didn't care about his customers. read more

We were in town for my graduation and as a present from my mother-in-law she invited us to get my nails done. We stumbled upon this place. It did not disappoint. First, they are open late and they are extremely friendly! They made sure we all liked our nails and they constantly asked for feedback. They were absolutely amazing and so FRIENDLY! I have been coming here for years today was the worst experience I had by far! So I walk in with my daughter and I go for a full powered set and wax and daughter goes in for a manicure and pedicure the start us both then 2 lady's walk in also and they tell us to have a seat on the message chair , mind you I only have on half on my nails not even half way done.. so I wait without complaining then I wait longer like another 20 min, to then they start again . They do one side of my nail then don't they ask me to wait AGIAN for a different nail tech !!! at this point I just say I been here a hour and I been waiting so she continued to work on me then another lady come over and takes over.. omg I can't even believe the customer service in this place . I was in town for the weekend for a romantic weekend getaway with my husband (we live in Fort Worth) and we decided to go somewhere and get manicures and pedicures together. Since I'm not from San Antonio I looked up the nail salons and chose this one because someone actually mentioned a name of someone good. Tina. So I called and made my appointment with Tina. I have my nail lady in Fort Worth and she does everything exactly how I like it. First of all, Tina had the absolute worst customer service. Since I had never been to her, I'm obviously going to let her know how I like my nails done because everyone is different. For example, I pick at my cuticles (nervous habit) and I asked her to see if she can clean that up. My lady at my nail salon can do it. She didn't. She tried but she couldn't do it the way I needed it. I also like 3 coats of the color polish because it lasts longer without chipping. I like my eye brows waxed a certain way. My point to this is that every time I told her how I wanted something done, she would say "k" and come off with a vibe like "damn this lady is asking too much" or a vibe like she didn't want to do it. At first I thought maybe she was acting like that because she knew she really didn't have to be nice to me because she knew we were from out of town and she wouldn't ever see us again. But then I thought since there are so apps like yelp to give reviews, she should have taken that into consideration when acting the way she did. She acted like I was a burden on her by telling her how I wanted my nails done. Second- I called ahead and made the appointment for me with Tina and anyone for my husband for 11am. I heard the guy who answered the phone ask Tina if she was available for an 11 o'clock appointment and she said yes. We got there and the very friendly guy (ONE of the only reasons I gave 3 stars) at the front sat me and my husband beside me each other for our pedicures. He offered us drinks. He was very friendly-to us. Another guy started my husbands pedicure and I was just waiting. I didn't know what was going on but Tina never came to tell me she was busy or anything and I didn't know what she even looked like. My husbands pedicure was finishing up before I saw her and she finally came and did my pedicure. She was doing someone else's pedicure so that frustrated me because she shouldn't have booked me at 11 she should have said for us to come at 12 when she would be free. That's horrible customer service. The whole reason to make an appointment is so you DON'T HAVE TO WAIT forever. She was almost finished with my pedicure- all she had left to do was paint my toes, she left me for another 15 min and didn't say what she was doing or anything so again it left me confused. She went to help another customer with her eye brows or something. I just saw them come out of the waxing room. Then she came back to me and painted my toes. Acted like I was a pain in her a$$ because I asked for 3 coats. Then she finally started my manicure. She didn't leave me anymore. But she acted the same way when she did my manicure. I asked her to clean up my cuticles and that was obviously a burden on her. And she didn't even clean them up. So the second reason I gave 3 start is because despite the fact that she didn't clean up my picked at cuticles good enough, she was actually very good at her job. Everything looked great (except my cuticles). So if you're from out of town and want to get your nails done, if you want good customer service regardless of if they will ever see you again, don't go to this place. Or at least not to Tina. Because you will CONSTANTLY be feeling like she doesn't want to help you. But if that doesn't matter and you just want good results, go ahead and go to her. Also the prices were much higher than my nail salon in Fort Worth. I usually get gel on my toes but that would have cost $50 for my pedicure if I had done it there. At my place my lady just charges an extra $5 to pain gel instead of regular polish so my gel pedicures at my nail salon are like $25. Even the eyebrow wax that I got was more expensive. I'm not sure if that's just the prices in San Antonio for getting your nails done or waxing or if it was just this salon having high prices. read more
