Our project remains uncompleted with a mudroom without a roof, despite us having paid the full amount of $13,000 for the project. What is most unacceptable is the complete breakdown of communication. Over the past few months, we have placed numerous calls and sent multiple emails; however, they have become entirely unresponsive, only occasionally replying to give us false completion dates. We were promised a timely and professional service, and instead, we are left with an unfinished job and a vendor who has essentially abandoned the project. This lack of accountability and disregard for a paying client is alarming. I cannot recommend Senco Home Services to anyone who values clear communication and project completion. Avoid the stress and look elsewhere.

In January 2023 I signed a contract for a new roof and in April paid the $4,900 deposit, but I…read morenever heard back about the install date despite repeated attempts to contact them. On May 27, 2023, I notified them that I had filed a Fraud Claim with my Bank to recoup the deposit, and that got their attention and they scheduled the installation for early July. There was minor damage done to an attic fan and a gutter issue they were supposed to fix during the installation. In October 2023 there was a (new) significant leak that caused over $1,000 in interior damage. They finally sent someone to fix the roofing issue but never sent the electrician to fix the fan. In February 2024, Chris showed up and explained what else he was going to do to fix the leak issue including re-routing a gutter and making a downspout larger. Between July 5, 2023 and May 15, 2024, I sent dozens of emails and texts and made multiple phone calls to three people at SENCO. In May 2024 I threatened to file claims here, with the Better Business Bureau, and the Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce. Within days they called me to say they would be by within the week to make things right. I haven't heard from them since. If you hire SENCO, expect to pay out of pocket for any damages.

I called Tucceri because my newly installed quartizite was damaged by the installers. The…read moreinstallers left an acidic solution on the countertop during install that caused a chemical burn. The installer/fabricator company tried to fix it but ended up damaging the stone even more. They burned it with a heat gun over sanded it causing the stone to look dull. My husband and I told the fabricator that we wanted to hire a stone restoration company to see if the stone could be salvaged. I called Tucceri and spoke to Paul. I sent him pictures and told him what happened. He insisted that he could make it like new again and that he would be refinishing it using different sanding pads to get the finish back. He did not what to come to look at the stone so we scheduled the restoration. Once he arrived with his son, they said they were going to clean it first and that is all they did was put some bleach solution on it and buffed out a few spots. My husband and I told them that it still looked the same, they never said why the didn't refinish as discussed on the phone. They put a sealer on it which he said it would dry clear but it stained the stone further. I reached out to them again saying it did not dry clear and that there is a stain and the stone was still dull. I told him that he didn't restore the stone as we discussed on the phone. They did nothing to resolve this issue and we were charged $1300 for them to apply bleach solution using a Mr. clean pad and buffing a few spots that did not do anything....seriously!! They made the stone worse with the staining from the products they used. Who uses bleach and an abrasive pad on natural stone, this is stone restoration? Terrible! My husband and I hired another restoration company to look at our stone because this was unacceptable. They came to look at the stone which is what Tuccerri should have done. This restoration company was honest and told us that the stone was ruined. They could never get it back to the factory finish and didn't want to take our money knowing they could not do a proper job. Tuccerri knew our stone was damaged beyond repair and that is why they did not attempt to refinish it as discussed on the phone. However, they wanted a pay day and they took advantage of us. These two are so dishonest it makes me sick. The new restoration company shared their report with the owner that installed the slabs and the owner of the company that installed the slabs replaced them. I never write reviews but Tuccerri is not a credible company and I want to save another person from getting screwed by these 2. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

CJM Builders built my custom home 13 years ago. Our first issue was with their plumber, we kept…read morehaving connections break and floods. After WE did the research we found out that the plumbers did not use the correct clamping tool for the pek lines. When brought to the plumbers attention (Chuck's brother Dave) he was unaware that a specific clamping tool was needed! How is that even possible? We ultimately hired a different plumber to resolve the issue (yes, WE had to pay to correct our builders mistake). Next was the heating system, again Chuck's brother Dave (CJM Plumbers). Another issue WE had to pay another HVAC person to correct. Wrong placement of system to cover the second floor. We had to add a third system to adequately heat the second floor. Fast forward to today, we decided to add crown moldings, wainscoting and change paint colors. Dark colors are not forgiving to wall errors like lighter paints. Low and behold what do we see, tons of screws that were not "sunk" in the wall board as they should have been, not to mention literal "waves" in the walls that should never have been. Don't tell me that Chuck and Brian did not notice this, they were just happy that we did not before our warranty expired. If you are looking for a "quality" builder that uses quality subcontractors, keep looking.
