During a regular inspection visit for our aerobic septic system, he discovered our entire septic panel had been without power and the system was very near overflowing. The electrical issue did ultimately require an electrician to visit to remedy the root of the issue, but Nate wired in a temporary extension cord line for our panel so that we would not be without septic service while waiting for the electrician. He got us taken care of and back up and running quickly.

They said the drain line was broken at the septic tank entrance, and recommended a complete septic line replacement at 4000.00. I gave them 50% (2000.00) to start to have the line dug up. I don't know if they were in a hurry or what but I hope it was not a sham. Such a simple thing to diagnose - check the tank 1st to see if it is full. I figured that out on my own, thank goodness! So what they convinced me to do was not needed at all - the septic tank was simply full and needed pumping. Cost me 2000.00 and tore up my yard for nothing. My yard was torn up and there remains a 6" high by 12 feet long mound that I guess I will have to level out on my own since you can't mow over it. I asked if there might some refund on my 2000.00, and the tech said he would check, but I never heard back from them. Unless I hear something ( it has been 6 months), I can't recommend this company.

They were very accommodating to my schedule and we picked a good time. The technician arrived within the scheduled window and called 25 minutes ahead to let me know he's coming. The technician was very polite and courteous. I was extremely impressed with how quickly he completed the work. It took 15 minutes from the time he arrived to the time he left. He diagnosed the issue, turned off the water to the house, drained the lines, replaced an old worn out shut off valve behind the toilet, replaced a leaky fill valve inside the toilet, turned all the water back on, and checked everything. I was very amazing how he did all of this in just 15 minutes. He obviously knew what he was doing. Overall I'm extremely pleased with my both my calls to Blue Star Plumbing. I would highly recommend them!
