The spicy avocado & lime salad with quinoa was awesome! The dressing was to die for.
David G.

The spicy avocado and lime bowl was amazing! It has the right healthy ingredients. Kale, quinoa, spinach, black beans, avocado, feta cheese and other veggies I don't remember but made it taste so good with the great spicy dressing. Healthy never tasted so good. Wish I lived here I'd visit often.

Southwestern salad (I exchanged the grilled corn to beets no xtra charge). & a coconut water (free drink with a meal over chf13.-)

I loved my first visit at b.good. I came here for dinner with my friends. We placed a reservation since we didn't know how busy it will be. I got the southwestern salad. And exchanged the roasted corn, and got beets instead. No extra charge for that option, but ask before exchanging something because with the other salad there would have been chf 1.- extra when exchanging something ;) and I got my dressing on the side- I was very happy about that when I saw the dressing portion (huge). They have a dinner special (18:30-22:00), you get a free drink (no matter what) with every purchase over chf13.00. Very friendly staff, good food (& healthy portions) and great deals! I like it - a lot!!

Be good unfortunatly not so good, fatty Fries order not taken well, small burgers, staff could be friendlier and worst of all concept is already be taken by better ones in zh

Really great food. I'm an expat and it's kinda hard to find good Tex mex food. This place has awesome Tex mex inspired burgers plus veggie and gluten free options! They also have super tasty sweet potato fries :)

raw chicken right next to our burgers :-/

Located off the happening Langstrasse, the bite is at a prime location as a spot to hit before a night on the town. Reservations can be slightly difficult to come by, especially on weekends, as the place fills up fast. I believe in summer they also offer al fresco dining which probably increases the space available. The guacamole is excellent, and the pesto which is served on top of it is a genius idea! The animal fries (fries with thousand island dressing and melted cheese) are excellent, if rather rich and heavy. Coming to the burgers themselves, the bite offers a fixed (rather limited) menu, with one limited, specialty burger. Meat is tasty, juicy, grilled to order, the bacon is thick cut and delicious. My personal recommendation is the Manchego burger, served with manchego cheese (duh!) and a delicious romesco sauce, this burger is to die for!

Unless you don't mind eating outside in the dark with all the smokers. Second....expect to wait a long time. This isn't a fast food restaurant so grab a beer and wait 45/60 min to get your food. Third... Switzerland is very expensive so this restaurant is no different. 2 burgers, 2 alcoholic drinks, and French fries were 98CHF which is pretty much 100 bucks. They have 3 sauces for you to try. Ketchup- Tasted like marinara sauce. BBQ- Tasted like smokey ketchup. 1000 island. Tasted normal. Burgers were great. They were juicy and delicious. Animal Style French Fries were a good try. Def not like the original but so far from home it was a nice find. This restaurant isn't for Americans. Way too expensive for what we eat all the time but I compare this place to the Melting Pot in the US. That place is so overpriced but it's amazing to get your cheese fondue fix. I can't imagine Swiss people coming to the US and eating at our expensive version of cheese fondue. Service was ok. It was super busy so can't really complain but I could tell our waiter was super annoyed with our audacity of showing up , with no reservation, and willingness to wait. And for some dumb reason you can't order "The Threesome" (or Hattrick) with a group of 5 people. 4 apparently is ok but we had 5. Cannot imagine why if 3 people order the same thing it's an inconvenience for the restaurant but DON'T DO IT or again your waiter will show his annoyance.

We happened upon it just by looking up restaurants close to our hotel and it wound up being our favorite place we ate in our whole 10 days in Switzerland! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. When you walk up, there are tables and chairs throughout the walkway and then an entire open area of tables off of the outside bar for a fun hangout. The building appears to be an old house turned restaurant and is so beautiful on the outside and so warm and inviting on the inside. The menu had accommodations for everyone - which is so nice as I am a lactose intolerant pescatarian! I got the beetroot and black bean burger both nights I was there and it was to die for!! I ate the entire thing both nights and just wanted more (it was a big burger though)!! I also had a watermelon spritz which was so refreshing! You can tell the owners/workers get to know their regulars as I saw them stopping by tables and chatting - which was just so fun to see! If you're in Zurich, I highly recommend popping by! My only regret was that I never saved room for the brownie dessert!

The buffalo wings were tasty and quite spicy, so if you don't enjoy a higher spice level... this wouldn't be for you. One can't exist on bread alone and when you're in the center of town amidst the shopping district…read morepast 9pm on a weekday, where do you eat? You go here. James Joyce boasts having the "best" burger in town (it's not) and our local friend recommended the place more for drinks, but we chose this anyway since its within walking distance from Widder bar where we came from. The menu reads like a dependable Irish pub fare, but with Zurich prices. GAH! I feel destitute in Zurich. Prices of 25CHF and up for an entree is typical. Fish n chips were deliciously crispy; while the burger has decent moist MMMeat. Alas, the cheese was dried out and burnt on the edges. (I mean, how does one manage to burn cheese?!) Sit outside if the weather permits, because the setting is really inviting with tea light candles and fresh flowers on the table. A glass of Lillet Blanc and a Guiness on tap are excellent end of the night drinks. The friendly service warrants the 4th star, but you should go somewhere else for the best burger in town.

The hotel had been slated for demolition and the bank that was building a place to entertain its out of town clients bought the wood paneling and decorations and shipped it all over to Zurich--crazy! I read about this place in my guide book and it was also recommended by my Zurich resident friend so I had to check it out. From the outside you'd never be able to tell what the interior holds; it has a quite a modern-looking patio and is on a well-heeled side street off the main shipping drag, Bonhofstrasse. It looks like it could be any other upscale bar until you walk inside: lots of dark gleaming yet well-worn wood, intricate tile work, and period paintings. You can take it all in as you sip the beverage of your choice. We weren't hungry enough to sample their food, but from what I could see on the other tables it looked pretty damn good. The bartender was very nice and friendly and the whole place just felt very comfortable. Well worth a visit.

Heidi & Tell had wonderful customer service, the cashier was so friendly and made great recommendations, especially with us visiting from the states. I ordered the Heidi Burger and it was yummy, but not as juicy as I usually like my burgers. The ingredients are clean, and you can definitely taste the difference. The herb sauce was so good and had a nice zest, which made the burger. Order a side of crispy sweet potato fries also, and you will be a happy camper!

This was my first time here. At about 7:15 pm on Wednesday evening, the place was kind of empty. There were two tables occupied outside, and no one inside. Neither my friend nor I were particularly hungry, but we were curious what the burgers were like, so we decided to share a meal. The cashier had no problem giving us two cups and cutting the burger in half so we could share. :) The burger itself was ok. Served on a whole-wheat bun, the meat was a bit lean and rarer than I'm used to. Kind of had a peppery taste that was ok, and the cheese was a bit strong (Schweizer Bergkaese), but a nice complement to the otherwise plain-ish burger. The tomato and lettuce were in there, but the taste and texture didn't really stand out for me. The fries were pretty yummy, coated with what looked like Parmesan cheese and some herbs. The skins were left on the fries, which added to the texture and appearance. We washed down our food with an Appenzell iisfee, a light, refreshing drink with a hint of green tea extract. We hung out there for over 2 hours, and they never kicked us out, which was nice. More people kept coming in--some alone, others in pairs. The place was about 3/4 full at about 9:30 pm, so I guess it's a popular place for a late dinner on weeknights.
