For my birthday my mom purchased me a "Bloom spot" gift certificate for a full set of last extensions. I was very excited because I wanted to try the lash extensions for a while and since I was a bridesmaid and had the rehearsal dinner and the wedding coming up I though it was the perfect time to get them put on. I called on a Friday and wanted to book the appointment for the beginning of the following week which I assumed was very short notice for them. The woman who booked my appointment was more than accommodating and although they were tightly booked for the holiday season, she fit me in. I am not familiar with the area so it was a bit of a challenge for me to find the place and although I set out to be a half hour early, ended up about 15 minutes late. I was unaware that I was supposed to show up with no makeup on my face and because I was coming straight from work had a little mascara on. Danielle and the rest of the staff warmly welcomed me and provided me with some makeup remover. The boutique was warm, well lit and felt completely comfortable. Danielle applied my lashes prompt, professionally and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process which was relaxing and pain free. I had lots of questions throughout the application about the upkeep and preservation of my new lashes and Danielle provided through and insightful information for them all as well as information about other products they carry which piqued my interest because I told her I was a fellow makeup fanatic. Before I left I made another appointment to get my lashes filled which Danielle suggested I do every two-three weeks. I ended up booking my appointment for about two and a half weeks from my first application. At $50 per fill, two weeks is a little too often for me to get the lashes retouched as I am in college full time and only work a part time job. I loved the look of my lashes but because I had decent lashes to start with, none of my friends really noticed. I did get asked multiple times while out and about if my lashes were real to which I politely explained to small intrigued crowds how they were extensions. I did have quite a bit of "fall out" and have acquired quite a few (about 15-20 lashes) on my vanity at home. I am not sure if this is considered "normal" ware-and-tare but I will find out next week at my second appointment! read more

I first hired Danielle the owner in 2005 to do the makeup for my wedding and she did such an amazing job that I have hired Danielle as my premier makeup artist for my company ever since. She is always professional and knows exactly how to achieve the look I want and she is always on top of the next trend or latest product in makeup and skincare. I love this place. I have only had my lashes done so far, I have been doing them here now for a long time. Like over 6 months. And I have never had a problem. They always come out beautiful and look perfect and last. And the price is great. I may ask next time if we can go a little longer on the ends. But I'm sure it will be fine. All the girls are super nice and I had to miss an appointment once and they were super nice about it. Not rude or mad. They are all so accommodating and always answer all my questions. The shop itself is so cute. I love it. They offer all kinds of make up and different products for face and body. And awesome jewelry I love. I also love the feel in there. It's not intimidating. It's very Welcoming. I'm going to start going there to have them do my brows. I need to find a good place and now I just go to random places. So I trust them with my eyelashes the girls have great brows so I'm hoping they can work some magic on mine. The owner is awesome and she works really hard and has an amazing business. She seems like she would be a awesome boss. All in all I love it here. I will be trying more services and I won't go anywhere else for my lashes. Love this place. And I don't have to travel into downtown to get over charged for crappy work and treated badly by snobby receptionists lol. read more

I am not happy. I went in on a Friday with a Groupon for lash extensions. Upon arrival, I filled out paperwork absolving them of any responsibility for lashes that may fall out immediately. Although Ive had lashes in the past and have never seen such a disclaimer, I dismissed this now obvious red flag because I figured a couple falling off was to be expected. No sooner than I'd gotten home with my new lashes did they start falling off at a ridiculous rate. There was no agitating or touches to the lashes at all, they just started falling. I was told they would last about 3 weeks before I would need a refill. They didn't even last 3 days before they were 80% gone! I called to schedule an appointment to have them refilled 5 days after having them applied and was charged full price for the refill. No discount, no apologies, no anything! Christina was nice but I will not be going back and I will not be recommending B Boutique. read more

I have to say how excited I was to see such a cool little place pop up in my home turf! I went in to B Boutique in person and asked several questions about what products they used and the qualifications of the technicians. After chatting with the owner I made an appointment to get my eyelashes filled and was pumped that they fit me in within a couple days. I myself am a freelance lash extensionist ,and esthetician and find it very important to find someone exceptionally skilled because I am a walking advertisement for my services. They use the Extreme Lash products which is the best quality, and their pricing is very reasonable. My usual eyelash lady is unavailable for then next month and I was in need of a fill so I figured I would give it a shot! While I waited for my Lash Tech I browsed around the makeup, lotion, and accessories and was pretty happy. She came out to get me and brought me into the room which was cute and cheerfully decorated, but I didn't like how you could hear everything that was going on in the store including the phone ringing continuously. She informed me in advance that she had some extenuating circumstance that she had to get up in the middle and take care of at some point during the appointment. I understand that these things happen but as a lash extensionist I felt disappointed because I never get to be the client and I just wanted the full experience for once. She had to get up a couple times and another employee came in the room and asked her a few questions throughout the course of the appointment. I felt like she was too busy to focus on her service a little too chaotic . During the appointment I was comfortable but also sort of perplexed that she didn't ask me any of the questions I would ask my first time clients like, "what type of shape do you like? Do you have any allergies? what types of thicknesses, or curl do you like?" She did ask me what lengths I use, but seemed somewhat uninterested in really giving me a custom experience. She assumed I like what I have now and just went with it, which was unfortunate because I was looking to change the shape. When I was done with the appointment I loved how they looked! She did a really nice job. I did lose one or two the first night which I knew was normal but over the next few hours I realized that I was having an issue with the right eye and when I shut my eye tightly they were poking me, they became more uncomfortable. I honestly abided by all the rules not showering for 24 hours and not getting them wet for a couple of days afterwards but was extremely upset that they started falling off at a ridiculous rate! I'm talking 6-10 lashes each day. By the 4th day after I had no lashes in the inner quarter of the right eye and hardly in the outer corner. This is NOT normal so I politely called them at this point and I spoke to a nice lady and explained my concerns. She said "Let me talk to the girl who did them and she will call you right back, she is finishing up with a client now" I hung up and did not receive a call all day, all night....Hmmmm Ok. So The next morning I called again during their business hours and got the voice mail...I left a polite message. Nothing.. Nothing all day, all night and now its the third day after I called and nothing... I have given up. This is so incredibly disappointing on all levels to me. B Boutique is a cute space and I believe the girls are very good at what they do (all respect to them) but clearly they don't value their clients. If I ever got a client that called me with the same issues, you better believe I am returning their call the same day, I am there with them problem solving and doing whatever I can to make sure they are 100% happy with the results. Each client needs to feel like they are the only client I have when i am talking to them or doing a service on them. Yes I am INSANELY busy with my business, Yes, my phone will ring 10 times during a service but its on silent and I am dedicated to my clients and will always put them first. All I wanted was a simple call back to address my issues, I don't want anything for free, I am not looking to badmouth anyone. If they had done this, my review quite possibly could have been 4 or 5 stars. I would recommend to them to get it together a little more, hire a receptionist and actually answer the phone and to keep the focus on customer service. ...I wish I could just do my own lashes :( read more

I can't even give them 1 star. gave 1 star because yelp didn't let me select none! I was charged $50.00 for a service that I did not received. I made an appointment for eyelashes extensions, scheduled for a Thursday two days before a party I had to go to. I was checking my bank account and noticed a charge from this business and I had not even been there (requires a card to book appointment) At that time I called the owner and she said my appointment was the day before. I told her how I booked specifically for an event that I was attending and that her staff make a mistake when scheduling. She was rude and said that she wasn't going to issue a refund and she would call her lawyer if I canceled with my bank. Never offered to book me for another day nor said sorry my staff made a mistake. I believe this is how this business stays open, by making mistakes purposely and charge there no show fee. It is unbelievable how she runs this business. She is steeling peoples money! read more

I just want to say what a great business this is and so lucky to have it open up so close to home!! The owner of the boutique is very hands on as she was able to help me pick out some gifts that I was purchasing for friends! I thought maybe she was just a friendly salesgirl.....little did I know she was the store owner. It was definitely a factor the next time I needed some new makeup. I stopped by one day, in a serious make up rut. When i heard the cost of a makeup lesson could be redeemed in products, I signed up. Danielle did my make up and my brows. She was wonderful- took her time and taught me a lot. Very comfortable person to work with, Did not push too much makeup, and gave me the natural look I was hoping for. Best of all, she used products that stay on! All day! I never reapply my make up, and had given up on doing my eyes, nothing ever stayed on. I give b boutique 3 stars; really appreciate their scheduling and working with their customers to fit in, even last minute. I've been going to Danielle for my lash extensions. She's super sweet, and always willing to help me. I came here for a fill after getting my lashes done at beauty paRLR in Framingham. I loved beauty parlr but it was far, so I settled and went closer to home. My lashes looked beautiful, a little less full than I like, but still pretty. Only negative, my lashes were dropping like flies! Within the first week, I had lost nearly all of them. :( I think I'll just stick with driving further to Framingham to get longer lasting, Disney princess lashes. read more

I have been coming here to get my brows done for about 2 years and have been consistently pleased with the results as well as the service and value. I work in Back Bay, but make the short trip out to E. Milton Square because not only is it a lot cheaper ($16, plus a frequent brow card that gets you a free brow wax after 5 visits!), it is just better. All the aestheticians know how to shape brows to compliment your individual face and all 3 are really great makeup artists too and will help you choose makeup and skin care products strategically (i.e. buying stuff that will help your cause without breaking the bank). read more

Danielle at B.makeup and brow boutique did the most wonderful job for my wedding makeup! I could not have been happier with how the makeup turned out for my big day. At the trial I immediately trusted her expertise and was impressed with how she handled my questions and concerns. On the wedding day she knew exactly what she was doing, and was really responsive to my request to change the lipstick from what we originally had used at the trial. Not only did the makeup look amazing, it stayed on the entire night. I was so thrilled even in photos I still looked great 10 hours and lots of dancing later! Okay, so I lied about never having eyelash extensions before so I could get premium treatment. Scheduling was very easy. Danielle is supermodel thin and makes me feel bad about myself, but was nice to me. Yes, signing a waiver that the eyelashes may not last is strange because IMHO good customer service dictates that if they all fall off a day or two later, the professional should fix them free no matter what. Mine have been on for about a week and still look nearly perfect. The eyelashes are the highest quality I've ever had. Very soft. And there was an undereye treatment used during application that was an added luxury. Highly recommend! read more

VyVy did an amazing job with my lashes. They looked great 2.5 weeks later when I went for my refill! My refill, though, by another technician was another story. 3 days later and they looked sparse. But that is not why I'm giving just 1 star. My first appointment was canceled by B Boutique 10 minutes before my start time. I had hired a sitter and was on my way there! I know emergency situations happen and I totally understand that fact, but I expected some sort of reciprocation in terms of the money I spent on the baby sitter- nothing big, maybe just percentage off a product. I was told that the owner would call me. She didn't. I called to check in because surely they would want to keep a client. I was assured that Danielle, the owner, would call me back. She didn't. I kept my refill appointment, anyway, to give them the benefit of the doubt. The owner was there after my appointment so I explained what happened and she said she'd look into it and call me back. She didn't. In fact, she said that those situations couldn't be helped and that she wasn't supposed to be there that day, either. If I were the owner of a business, I'd bend over backward for my clients, which everyone knows represents more future clients. I won't go back to B Boutique and neither will any of my friends. In fact, I feel sorry for the girls that work there. If she treats clients that way, I can't imagine how she treats her staff. read more
