The technicians arrived right on schedule. They were extremely courteous and I asked them to explain the process before they began. The cleaning was thorough as they meticulously went through each vent and the main duct system. As expected there was a slight smell when starting the furnace back up (not dissimilar to how it might smell after being off all summer) but that cleared up quickly. We haven't had them cleaned in the 12 years we've been here (I know, I know...) but I really expected them to be worse. They even replaced the filters on the furnace (I provided them). The pricing was reasonable and comparable to similar services. It took about 3 hours for a 3k sq ft house. We also had them clean out the dryer vent.

Update following the company's response:…read more I want to clarify one point raised in the owner's reply so readers understand the concern accurately. Yes, I mentioned that I would prefer the panels be placed on the rear of the home if possible. That was simply an aesthetic preference and not a design requirement. I relied on the company's expertise to determine whether that placement would still allow the system to reasonably meet the goals discussed during the sales process. I also want to be clear that the system functioning is not the issue. We appear to agree that the equipment is producing energy as designed. The production numbers themselves have never been what I questioned. The concern I raised relates to how the system size and expectations were presented during the sales process. When we explored going solar, the conversations centered around offsetting most or all of our electric bill, which was the primary reason we decided to move forward with a $20,000 installation. If it had been clearly communicated that the system was intended to be a smaller "starter system" that would only offset a portion of our electricity usage, we likely would have approached the decision differently or waited until we had a longer utility history available. Another important point is that no written proposal or modeling documentation outlining the assumed household usage or projected offset was ever provided prior to signing. Because those design assumptions were never shared with us in writing, it has been difficult to understand how the system size was determined relative to our expected energy needs. As a result, we are now paying a monthly solar loan while still carrying a meaningful electric bill, which is not the outcome we understood or expected when making this investment. At this point, I have shared my experience and clarified the concerns raised. I do not intend to continue a public back-and-forth discussion on this review. My purpose in posting this update is simply to provide context so other homeowners researching solar know to request clear written modeling and offset assumptions before making a significant investment.

I was in an auto accident and my car got totaled. I could not do a deep cleaning because of my accident. I hired Quigley's Handy Hands. When he arrived I shared that I wanted to have my Nin knack to be dusted, baseboards and cabinets wiped down; window and frames to also be wiped down and my bathrooms and bedrooms to get cleaned. And vacuum and wash the floors I was not feeling well and said I needed to take a nap. I fell asleep for over 3 hours. I woke up and he did not put away anything that de dusted. He left them scattered all over my living room floor and couch. He said he wanted $250 dollars. I said we agreed that I would pay him once the job was completed. I felt pressured to pay, so I did. I said you did not even finish the job. He promised that he would come back the next day between 7:30 and 8:30. I did not hear from him and he got to my house I think around 10:30. I asked him why did he not call or text me saying he was going to be late. When I asked him he acted like it was no big deal. I shared the day before I had Dr. appointments and was only available in the early morning. He did not do the job. Given the fact that I had given him 250.00 and the job was not done I was not going to let him clean my house without being there. He said he would come the next day between 7:30 and 8:00. I did not hear anything from him. I left him a message to not to come. Although he did come around 10:30. I felt like I was ripped off. I was frustrated. I looked around the house. None of the floors were vacuumed or washed, the baseboards and cabinets were cleaned, no shelves had been dusted. Nothing was done that I could see. He did nothing in the bedrooms or bath rooms. I tried to start to clean but was in too much pain and I needed to stop. I sent him a text or voice mail saying that I had decided to have him clean the house since I payed him. On Saturday he send me a text saying he would be at my house on Sunday in the morning. I did not want to pressure him so I did not question what time it in the morning. I had looked at the time and it was around 12:30. No communication from him. I called to ask him what happened. He got a hold of me, and left a message that he could not find his keys. I got the message a few hours later. I told him that I was going to be home. Never called, texted or came. I shared that I was out $250.00 and my house has not gotten cleaned. I told him I was thinking about taking him to small claims. He sent me a text saying I " was not listening or did not understand what he was saying. It is not bad enough that I am in pain cannot clean my house and was ripped off 250.00. Nothing cleaned! If you have nothing to say please do not respond.
