My salon and I decided to try out this sharpening service because we have had several issues in the past with others. We went in with very high hopes. Well we were wrong. Nearly everything we gave him, he gave back in even worse condition and nothing would cut hair. He said it was cutting his rabbit fur, but not the dog hair in the salon. None of our shears worked at all and when one girl went back to ask why he said he was sharpening our curves with a straight block. Still doesn't explain why our straights were not cutting or even our blades. He came back the next day and took some of our equipment to get fixed by someone who he said was better and most of it still does not work. He did give us all a full refund, which we were grateful for. Some of us are having to buy brand new equipment because of this. Right before the holidays too, our busiest time.
