YALL. THIS IS SOUTHERN FOOD…read more I have grown up in this area, and had this food my whole life. Tastes like granny's cookin' I have since moved to Florida and EVERY TIME I come home to visit, I go here. I have had their Breakfast... YUM. I got normal stuff like eggs and bacon but alSo.. CHOCOLATE GRAVY HOLY MOLY. It's a la carte. Forgot to document that experience. This last time I visited, I made sure to capture the glory. Sunday lunch is unbeatable. It's legit $7 for a plate and $10 all you eat. It's a plate lunch, so you have several pre-made food options. You request it at the counter and watch it be added to your plate. You can get it however you want! It's NOT traditional buffet style, the servers make your plate and the food is protected glass. This makes my inner germaphobe so so happy! The food is all warm and fresh, even though it's already prepared. I told myself I was going all in, but one plate gOt the best of me. I cleaned that bad boy though! Enough room for a meat and 3 sides, then you get a dessert. The servers were all super helpful and sweet. I got an extra serving oF dessert at no charge! THE atmosphere is very "local"y. The cost is stupid cheap!!! I will absolutely go back to this spot over and over

My friend's pancake was cold, butter just sat there, grits cold, at least the eggs were hot. Mine was worse, gravy was cold, hash browns were to be crispy, there were hardly cooked, the sausage was still raw in the middle, at least the eggs were hot. Sent the cold stuff back, gravy came out first, must have popped that in the microwave, hash browns next, still not crisp, I was told that the best she could do, never got the sausage. went to pay for the food, not a sorry, not a comp for anything, not even a thank you for your business. Just here is your change. My friend and I ride motorcycles and were scoping this place out to bring others, guess what, that won't happen

This place was my choice to grab a coffee from on my wait out of Cullman after a short visit. It…read morewas solid! The interior is decorated really nicely, kind of cool and funky vibes with a surprising amount of space available to hang out. Cute merchandise for sale too. I had a little bit of trouble finding the menu but eventually found it on a paper card placed somewhat inconspicuously near the register. I was only interested in coffee but they have a decent selection of cafe-type food and other beverages. They have seasonal specials and more standard, always-available house specials. I selected one of these and got a small iced Turtle latte, which had chocolate, caramel, and praline flavors. I thought service was a little standoffish and put-upon seeming, but I wouldn't say they were rude; just not super welcoming. My drink was made and served quickly and I got back on the road. The drink was good! Nice balance of ice to liquid and a yummy, sweet, rich turtle flavor. There was a slight artificially nutty aftertaste that I'd guess was the praline that I didn't love, but overall this was a solid drink that I'd probably order again. Give them a try if you're in the area.

The staff still seemed irritable and not friendly, which again made us feel more like an inconvenience than customers. We had to ask multiple times about our drinks and food, which was frustrating. Again, the HIGH prices... On the bright side, there's a nice bookish vibe that gives it that cozy feel. With the exposed bricks/ductwork, mismatched secondhand furniture, and a small selection of books, it does seem like a good spot to relax and chat with friends... Still, I'll be looking for a different coffee place next time! Somewhere the employees attitudes match the chill atmosphere.
