Ronnie, the owner of Ace, quickly responded to my request. I sent him pictures with measurements, and he provided a very reasonable quote for his work. I dropped off the lights at his South Austin house (his wife received them), and within a few days, Ronnie called to tell me they were ready, and I went to pick them up. He did a great job, honored his price, and returned them faster than what I was expecting. Moreover, Ronnie is just a solid guy. I surely will go to Ronnie again, if the need arises, for his services! Thanks, Ronnie!

I took a little bit of a Google risk and found Lorenzo. Very satisfied. He came to our house, we talked about what we wanted in a fireplace, discussed design styles etc. He measured and then came back some time later (a week or two? I forget) with some ideas and prices. We chose one and he went to work. Now here is a thing: The first version was not the right size. As we set it up, it was obvious. It would not work. He apologized, took it home, and fixed it. The fixed version actually looks better! And he stuck to his quoted price. No "extra materials" BS here. It was his error, and he made it right without charging us an extra penny! One thing I should add: The full process, from initial email to final installation, took about 5 months. This is not some quick "knock it out in a couple of weeks" sort of job. And Lorenzo was always clear about the demands on his time. And as you can see from the stars, we think it was worth every second. See the picture! We have a beautiful screen/door setup that is heavy enough to stop a rhino. If you are willing to pay and wait for real craftsmanship, not something stamped out of aluminum, Lorenzo is your guy. You will not be sorry.
