Bachrodt is the exception it is worth the drive I received excellent honest care for a transmission replacment, bearing work, brake job and aligment. I went to Bachrodt after my local GMC dealer was constantly rude and acting like they were doing me a favor. Then a Tuffy shop said I needed $900.00 worth of work that I didn't., which Bacrhrodt proved was not necessary../. Yes I am rating these guys high and continuing to drive there from Naperville...Plus they are courteous...

I told them I would call them in a few months about getting it scheduled. the week after Thanksgiving I called and Mike the owner proceeded to yell and scream at me for calling him. he said he would follow up but never did. now it's mid January and I have not heard a word from him. as of today I am installing a new trans myself. this place does horrible work, not ethical, and will not stand behind their 2 yr 24k mile warranty. I wish I never would have walked in this shop, worst decision I ever made. save yourself the hassle and lies and go to a reputable trans shop as this place is a hell hole and the owner is a dickhead.

They had no parking available so I parked on the side of what I thought was the front out of the way. Brought my parts over to the overhead doors for them to tell me to go around. They had no disabled parking spots since I'm a combat vet and can't walk far carrying heavy items I need to park as close as possible. So I drove to the other side parked in another non existent parking spot as they are alll full. Again all parking spots are fullll!! I limped with the parts in both hands to the door to get stopped by an employee. "You can't park there." I told him I had no where else to park and can't walk far . July 13 with it still shaking and vibrating after they said that they test drove it and it was OK to pick up , unfortunately, that wasn't the truth The motor mounts was missing two of them and it was an obvious with the work they had just done with it being right above the transmission.
