They addressed my issues and found a few more that I figured came with the age of the car. Turns out I was wrong. I decided to get the work done here and should be able to pick her up today. You pull into Nelson's Imports, their building proudly claiming "Specializes in Audi, Volkswagen,…read morePorsche." At first, the staff seems genuine and friendly -- until you raise a valid question or concern. Then you're met with hung-up phone calls, outrage, name-calling, and even a slammed door. In January 2024, they installed an Interstate battery for me. By May, it had already gone bad. In November 2024, under warranty, they replaced it with a Duracell Gold -- which their own shop notes (and my voice recording) confirm they sourced from AutoZone. After installing it myself, I expressed concern about whether it needed coding. They offered to double-check if I brought it in, confirmed it didn't need coding, and sent me on my way. Fast-forward to this month, and that replacement battery failed testing. When I called to inquire about my warranty, I again expressed concern that the life of my battery was being affected by them not coding it into the car. Bryan hung up on me. When I called back, the shop owner, Ryan, was equally dismissive -- telling me the problem was "the way I was going about things" rather than addressing his staff's behavior. They insisted the battery had to sit on a charger for 24 hours. That "24 hours" stretched into 26+, with no proactive updates -- I had to call them. When I finally reached someone, they claimed the battery was now magically "100% good" and had "passed the load test." When I asked for proof in writing, I got more attitude, another hang-up from Bryan, and -- in person -- no greeting, just vague shop notes (no actual load-test printout), being told to "please leave," called "the rudest person" they've ever met, and having the door slammed in my face. They also tried to tell me my car wouldn't even start without the battery being coded -- which is flat-out false. I've installed and driven with an uncoded battery before; it just shortens the battery's life. The only reason they even agreed to look at my battery was because I made it clear I'd go directly to Duracell for my 3-year warranty. Between the misinformation, refusal to provide proper documentation, and unprofessional behavior from both Bryan and Ryan, I'll be taking my business -- and my warranty -- elsewhere. If this is how they "specialize" in German vehicles, yet can't even properly install and code a battery to spec, I can only imagine the quality of their bigger repairs.

Mark's said they were available for my service request online and let me schedule an appointment through yelp. Was for a simple brake estimate. Said it would be free for the estimate. Dropped off my vehicle early. Sign outside says "free estimates". On arrival, staff said they had no knowledge of my appointment or request (awesome!). Said it would be no problem and they would take a look at the brakes. Said if I decided to move forward with the repair, it should be able to be done today, in a couple hours. Dropped off vehicle around 9:30 am. 1pm comes around, no calls or updates. I was about to give them a call, since it was nearing the end of their work day. I finally get a call. Staff says they did a visual inspection, but it would be $50 for them to take the wheels off and give me an estimate. I'm like you had my car for hours and you haven't even started looking at it, and now you want to charge me for an estimate? I told them I would just pickup the car, because they haven't even worked on it. On my arrival back to the facility, my car hasn't moved one inch, from where I left it. If you are so busy and have so much business, why even bother wasting my time, by saying you could work on it the same day? Hope it was was worth it, because I will never be back or refer anyone here.

Overpriced used cars with unfair, low ball trade-in offers compared to three other nearby dealers…read more They showed us a vehicle with dings on the door and an error light illuminated on the dashboard that they distracted our comments on by redirecting to how the car's interior appeared - and then lowered the price a few days later. They keep telling me the trade in car had damage which we know. They keep stating I didn't get a better offer at 3 different dealers, and we ultimately chose one of them, but we did and that's why we chose them. We got a much fairer value for our trade in as the condition was at a different dealer. Apparently going in to negotiate sales prices and trade in values with a preapproval is not what they like to deal with, and they will accuse you of bullying them when you leave an honest review and need to edit it.

Had an issue with a random misfire on a Hyundai…read more Papa's Garage was able to get me in, within a couple days. They were great with their communication. Called to explain the issue and then again when the car was ready. Evaluated the issue in the morning, had it narrowed down by lunch, and had the new part installed and tested by the afternoon (same day). Other garages seem to work on the theory that they will get your car, when they get to it. That wasn't my experience at all with Papa's garage.
