Although we rented only the "simple" towncar, it was a newer model, shiny, and clean on the inside and out. From their website, it appears that they mostly rent the huge stretch Escalades and Excursions, but they did a great job on the simple towncar as well. Lastly, the price was very competitive, if not the lowest, of the limo companies that I contacted in Tucson.

My fiance has always had the dream of learning to fly a helicopter and Tyler and Tasha made it a reality. With a thorough safety instruction and clear expectations, my fiance was piloting with minimal assistance almost immediately (with the instructor keeping a close hand on the redundant controls of course). I was even invited to ride along in the back to watch! Not only was the equipment very well maintained, but our instructor Tyler was an extremely patient and kind teacher; his calm demeanor and clear instructions did away with any anxiety either of us felt. I could not imagine a more comfortable and healthy learning environment. They also offer tours around the same area we trained which are beautiful and expansive. During the training we were even able to fly over my parents house who snapped a photo of her piloting! If you want to learn to pilot a helicopter and are in the Tucson/Pheonix area, there is no better instructor than Tyler Sturges. Even if you have never been in a helicopter (which we had not), Tyler will make you comfortable, safe, and enjoy the process. This is an experience neither of us will ever forget.

We were in the middle of nowhere on the side of the interstate with two dogs in the back. We called roadside for the rental and they informed us we would need to find the next town over to stay the night as we wouldn't be able to get a replacement car until the morning. We called around Wilcox and found a hotel. Next, we had to figure out how we would get there. At this point it was almost 2 am. We called around everywhere in Wilcox with no answer. I googled the next town over and found Safe Ride taxi service out of Benson. I called and they IMMEDIATELY answered. I just about cried because I was overwhelmed and tired. They were about 45 mins away from our location, but that didn't stop them. Charlotte & Jamie were so amazing and kind! I told them that we had two dogs and they said that didn't matter. The only thing they cared about was getting to us so that way we'd be safely off the road. Jamie called to let me know she was on her way and asked if she needed to stop anywhere for food/water before heading to us. She brought us water and finally found us in the interstate. She helped us load up and off to Wilcox we went. She mentioned they typically don't drive out that way, but because of the emergency situation, they were glad to help. We explained we were on our way to CA and had no idea how/when we'd get a replacement car, so Jamie offered to drive us all the way to CA herself! Luckily, we ended up getting the replacement, but just the thought of her offering was the sweetest gesture. They made sure we were safe and were so accommodating to us. The airfield has a tower that is manned more often than not. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed. The field is quite the distance from Tucson so the drive is longer than we would like. The hosts allowed us to check-in in the morning and we got in much needed sleep. From there, the hosts recommended several good spots in the area to explore, which we did! This place is so frustrating, I'm surprised a well known bus line doesn't have more departure times heading California... oh and to make things worse if you have to be in your destination in a specific hour well too bad you can't even get a refund... so basically you're screwed... being at least 1hr late is okay but 2 hours ? The docent and our driver were exceptional providing answers to our many questions and explaining in understandable fashion the history and the function of the mines Asarco operates in Sahuarita and throughout Arizona. They and the video explain in detail the measures Asarco takes in conservation and reclamation at its mines. This is the perfect way to spend a few hours while visiting Arizona and for locals who have never been to this desert gem.
