Since I was first stationed at March AFB in May 1983, Bob and his friendly cohorts at B&B Auctions have not only helped a low income airman furnish his apartment and fill it full of everything one could imagine one could ever need, but kept me entertained on a budget and made me feel like part of their inner circle of friends. I wish I could remember all the names besides Bob and Mike, because they were all so wonderful and entertaining in their own ways. The thin gentleman that was always dressed in the USPS outfit and shorts... Cecil?... something unusual that I should remember... so hard working and fun and the same time. Bob Sr, always keeping things going, and if anything ever seemed to slow down a bit, he'd throw a "mystery box" of something out there and blow a quick hammer on it for a $1 or 2, just to keep people on their toes! EVERYONE loves a deal, and a SURPRISE makes it even more fun - what DID I just "WIN"?
I miss those guys more than I could ever explain. The modern world is missing out. This is more than a place to "buy stuff", this is GREAT family fun, and cheap entertainment!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!! read more
