If you're craving legit, flavor‑packed empanadas, Continental Gourmet Market is the spot. This…read moreplace specializes in empanadas that taste like they were made with a lot of thought and kindness. The crust is golden, flaky, and never greasy, and the fillings hit with real seasoning, none of that bland, filler‑heavy stuff you get at other places. Service here is consistently solid. The staff is friendly, quick, and knows their regulars. The store itself is clean, organized, and easy to navigate, which matters because once you walk in, you're going to want to browse. And trust me, browsing is worth it. They've got a surprisingly deep selection of Central American food items, from pantry staples to snacks you don't usually find in big grocery chains. Prices are very fair, especially considering the quality. You can grab a couple empanadas, pick up some specialty items, and walk out feeling like you scored. Great empanadas, great service, clean shop, and a fun variety of Central American goodies. A South Bay gem that deserves way more hype. Miguel C.

At first I thought "Well this is definitely not a red velvet bundt cake." HAHA, but the cracker sample was so good, I had to buy a bag. And the bag was so good, I'm almost done with it in a single sitting and I had to come write a review.... The taste: Wonderfully salted and peppered and whatever else spice is on it. The heat is perfect - spicy enough to make you want to drink water, but not too spicy to make you cry or your ears pop. Texture: Crumbles perfectly. Made me think it was a Cheez-It at first (because I didn't know what I was eating). But it definitely has a saltine texture to it. I just learned about this today and I love love love this stuff!!!

The gunner cake was a 9/10, I usually don't finish them because they are too oily. This one was perfect, but they put on too much strawberry sauce, the funnel cake was too wet with it. I'll ask for less next time. The churros were 10/10, much better than the ones we get elsewhere I also got a café de olla and that one was very yummy but a little too sugary for my liking.
