, I would like to share my experience of residing in these apartments for over four years. During…read moremy tenure, I encountered numerous instances where individuals entered my apartment without my explicit consent, despite my previous warnings expressing my discomfort with such actions. Regrettably, these incidents persisted. In response to these repeated breaches of my privacy, I was compelled to file multiple police reports, including one for burglary due to the damage they caused to my door. Furthermore, I was left without an air conditioning thermostat for approximately three months and a patio door for six months. Even when my apartment flooded, causing significant property damage to my own, I recall that staff or maintenance did not respond the following day. Subsequently, I was presented with a document from Janet in the office, which essentially stated that my apartment had never flooded. She had provided me with a different description of the purpose of the document, but it ultimately amounted to requesting me to claim that my apartment had never flooded, despite the fact that it had . She had deceived me and had to sign a document that was false. that wouldn't be the first time. The situation escalated when the maintenance staff and apartment associates disregarded my property rights by accessing my belongings without my permission. . A particularly egregious incident occurred when the maintenance/staff did not offer assistance to enter my apartment after I had locked myself out. However, when they wanted to gain entry themselves, they disregarded my changed locks and essentially broke into my apartment. I recall a specific incident where I had just left my apartment and, as I was about to go leave the gate , I noticed the maintenance staff entering as I was leaving. Within a matter of minutes, they had already reached my apartment. They explained that they were looking for something and cooling and heating wires in my unit, which I understood to be related to the time of year when I did not have a thermostat. It is concerning that many of the similar instances mentioned in previous reviews that have been removed from the platform. However, there are still numerous similar reviews available. I am not the first person to have experienced these issues, and I believe it is important to raise awareness about this matter. Despite events, these individuals persist in attempting to extract an excessive amount of money from me, even though I was paying more than the amount I had initially stated. The discrepancy between what I paid and what they collected remains unclear, and I am uncertain of their intentions. Nevertheless, they are attempting to charge me an additional 15,000.

I moved to Carlyle Place almost a year ago from a nearby "luxury apartment complex" and I can tell…read moreyou that I like this place considerably more! Not only am I saving over $850 a month, but I'm MUCH happier here for several reasons: 1) The management here is unusually responsive to maintenance issues, unlike the "luxury" place. Major kudos to Tracy, the office manager, who bends over backwards to "make your day great" - she always answers the phone, "how can I make your day great". But I also have to say, everyone in maintenance and at the office are always friendly, courteous and eager to answer your questions and help out. 2) Carlyle Place is attractive and quaint and my apartment is conveniently laid out. The "luxury" place was noisy (constantly heard the drone of an emergency helicopter landing at the medical center. The "luxury" place had extremely low water pressure. Here the water pressure is excellent - believe me, that's important. 3) Carlyle Place seems to be very safe; so far, so good. At the "luxury" place, over $600 of packages were stolen and when I caught the culprit on video, they did nothing about it - I received one excuse after the next. (The burglar picked up the package and then put it back down when he noticed the security camera that I just installed - this happened at 2:55am!). I highly recommend Carlyle Place. Living here is just so easy!

I strongly advise against renting these apartments. In June, we were searching for a place near my…read moredaughter, who was about to have her baby. We decided to move into the same apartments as her so she could receive a $300 credit. The leasing agent, Tracy, showed us a "2 Bedroom 2 Bath" unit quickly, and I realized later that no lights were on during the visit. Since my daughter wasn't feeling well, we did the paperwork over the phone. I was stressed out that day because I knew that my daughter was due any minute. On moving day, we found the apartment hadn't been cleaned. We had to go to Home Depot to buy cleaning supplies because everything was dirty, from the toilet and shower to the stove and blinds. We cleaned it quickly and moved in due to my daughter's recent delivery and her baby being in the NICU. As we settled in, we noticed several issues. The apartment had a significant mosquito problem, and the washer and dryer were so old that they were damaging our clothes. We also struggled to get the dirt off the floors and noticed what appeared to be mold in the shower. We reported these issues during our move-in inspection, but the management took no action. They simply painted over the mold repeatedly every time someone moved out, without addressing the underlying problem. We also faced issues with the dishwasher, water quality, mosquitoes, and roaches, but the management refused to take responsibility or make any improvements. The air conditioning unit stopped working, and their solution was to pour water over the old, rusty unit outside. They blamed the high electricity bills on the old units and didn't make any effort to improve the situation. The pool was unusable due to mosquitoes, and I developed a rash after using it once. Additionally, our mailbox was robbed, and the management showed no concern about these security issues. The lack of care and accountability from the management was evident in their responses to our complaints. They failed to address safety, maintenance, and environmental issues and were dismissive of our concerns. The "live it, like it, love it for 30 days" offer was overshadowed by the overwhelming challenges I was facing with my daughter's postpartum care and the baby's hospitalization. Do I recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a decent place to live....NO? Save yourself the headache and the stress of dealing with the condescending, patchwork, crappy apartment complex and do not move here.

I couldn't ask for a better spot for my apartment, I can park right outside my front door, the pool is right around the corner, the mail room is right out my front door, the dog park is on the other side of the complex but that's just means more exercise for Ella and I. I love that they provide poop bags and garbage cans in the dog park, even though hardly anyone uses them. I live in a 2Bd 2Bth apartment, it's very spacious and the closets in both bedrooms are perfect and great size rooms! The master bath could use a little more counter space where the vanity is but nothing a shelf can't fix. The kitchen is beautiful and so spacious and perfect for my cooking! Only wish for the kitchen is a garbage disposal, maybe in the future since they're still new! I love that there's a washer and dryer in unit makes it so much easier and I don't have to worry about leaving my laundry in the washer or dryer. Could use some shelving in washer dryer closet but that's something you could do yourself. I've never lived in Texas so I'm not sure how cold it gets but it's pretty cozy touch that there's a fireplace in every apartment! The complex is very conveniently located next to I-35, FSH, major restaurants, stores, high schools, churches, and not far from shopping! Other residents keep to themselves don't really talk unless you engage a conversation. This place is supper new and everything in the apartment is beautiful especially the pool area and I recommend anyone moving to the area to check out Stone Chase Apartments! Definitely worth it :) Only reasons for a 4 and not a 5 is because of the other residents. 1. People with dogs: People hardly pick up after their dogs and it drives me crazy especially since the complex provides bags and trash cans! It takes maybe 30 seconds for you to bag it up and throw it away!!!! And for the people who don't pick up after their dog outside of the dog park you're just being rude! That's like having a neighbors dog shit on your porch everyday - ANNOYING! And it's a health hazard to our pets. We don't like going to the bathroom when there's feces or urine on a toilet so what makes you think our dogs like to walk on it??? 2. People who use the pool: The gate doors around the pool don't have locks on them or they do and they aren't being used. Every week (I've only been here 3 weeks) there's at least one or two nights people are in the pool past 10pm (the time is it supposed to close) and the back of my apartment is the pool so if people are down there I can hear everything and at 130/2 am it doesn't make me a happy resident especially when my husband has to be up for PT at 4 in the morning. Then they leave their garbage everywhere when there's at least 3 trash cans in the pool area, toys in the pool, broken toys on the ground, cigaret buts everywhere, it's like people don't care at all. There's also a no pets allowed in pool area and for me I don't like bc my dog is very well behaved and she just laid there while I swam (before I read the no pets allowed rule) but the other day someone had their dog in there and all it did was bark the ENTIRE TIME it was in there, I would have complained but it was after office hours so no one was there. (The pool is beautiful though)

Yes…read morethis place is beautiful, quiet and clean and the only good thing here is that maintenance who is super responsive and super sweet... don't let the amenities suck you in. After living here for 2 years I've had enough. Enough of the run around of car break ins, people never answering the phones, construction, road closures, new property managers, etc.. My vehicle has been stolen here and (yes I know a vehicle can be stolen anywhere) so I took the proper steps and I ended up getting a carport for extra safety. But be advised they do have signs placed everywhere in the complex stating they enforce towing in which they do not. Ironically,I have had multiple instances where random vehicles will be parked in my designated carport that I pay for when I come home from work late at night. Unfortunately, you are not able to do anything about it due to leasing hours being closed and towing is unable to come onto the property (after leasing hours Mon-Fri 10-6 Sat 10-5 Sun 1-5). Even the towing company was embarrassed on how many times people will call after hours unfortunately the towing company is not allowed to come onto the property. I come home late from work at times and expect to have my spot available especially having to work extra hard after having my car stolen and on top of that having to get a carport for others to use freely on the weekends. I've expressed these concerns, but unfortunately you'll never be able to reach the leasing office so good luck. Yes, I know I can pop inside and talk to them in person, it's just frustrating to know that I pay so much money here and I've left voicemails in the past that the lack of consideration they have doesn't even give me the energy to step foot in that office. I'm just ready to pack my things and end my lease after 2 years.
