Instead of receiving any acknowledgment of the poor quality, I was told to either return for a replacement or make the effort to come back for a refund. This is not how a business should ever operate. I shouldn't have to return to a restaurant that failed to deliver a satisfactory meal. The steak was gristly, tasteless, and evidently old. Spending $30 for this was a WASTE of my earned money. The manager's tone suggested that it was my fault for choosing their establishment, which is entirely inappropriate. There are numerous excellent Hispanic restaurants in the area, and quite frankly, I regret not trying one of them instead. The parking lot is at a steeper angle than the road so be cautious as you enter. There is plenty of parking, with spaces adjacent to the building as well as across the main traffic lane. The handicapped spaces are adjacent to the building near the front entrance. The parking lot is angled to get to the front door so be aware if you need assistance walking. Once inside, turn right to enter the main dining area. There is a counter to the left with the hostess. We selected a booth near the outside wall and were seated immediately. There were only a few other lunch customers, and the seating is spaced well so moving around is easy. Our server took the drink order and another server brought the chips and salsa right away. The chips were fresh and the salsa was nice. It looked like it would have a heavy tomato flavor but it was surprisingly well-rounded. It was a decent start for the meal. The menu is extensive with something like five pages of items. We decided to try only items from the lunch menu which made the selection easier. Our drinks arrived quickly and we placed our order. Our food arrived in about ten minutes. The Texas fajitas included several large shrimp along with the steak and chicken. The mixture was well-seasoned and plentiful for a lunch portion. The accompanying refried beans were average and the guacamole salad was fresh and crisp. The flour tortillas were warm. The lunch carnitas provided 3-4 chunks of pork. The meat was slightly dry but still tender. It was seasoned nicely and quite tasty. The same refried beans were fine and the pico was fresh and a very nice addition to the pork. The optional corn tortillas were warm and held together much better than most corn versions. Service was very good. Both entrees were good and large enough for a lunch portion at a reasonable price.
