TLDR: Erik was very communicative and his team were great. Advice for homeowners below - do your…read moreresearch!!! We have a baby, and wanted to change the floors of a house we bought for durability and aesthetics before moving in. There were also a number of creaks in our floors, and we wanted to get them fixed. Erik's team was able to take off the carpet and existing pine hardwood, level the floor, and install the laminate we picked out. His team came at 8am every morning and they finished by evening when we came back. We did this before we moved into our new house, and we love the way our house looks and feels now. Erik (the owner) was the first to come do the consultation, he was quick, and to me he felt very trustworthy from the beginning. He was also communicative throughout the whole process - often on the over-detailed side. And among the other offers, his was reasonable in price (compared to others) and according to our quick timeline. That said, when you get work done you may come across hurdles and it's important you get alternate opinions. As first time homeowners, we assumed that getting flooring done is straightforward. Apparently it's not. We were warned that the initial quote may be affected by the state of our subfloors once they take out the existing flooring. We got an urgent call saying that there was a lot more unevenness in our floors than expected, and that they would have to pour self leveling throughout the entire house, which was a quote of 90 bags, at $150 each. We were told that was the only option, and were strongly encouraged to go this route to make our timeline. After getting evaluations from multiple other flooring experts, we got alternate advice for up to 12 bags of self leveling, max. Our home is only 10yrs old. 90 bags of self leveling is enough for an entire apartment building, and weighs over 2 tons. Apparently the only way to guarantee absolute evenness is if you just pour self leveling on the entire floor, and also easier for the workers. But we opted for the labor-intensive (but more cost effective) way of going through the whole house measuring each high point & low point, sanding down the high points, and only pouring in the patches at the low points. Needless to say, we rejected the proposed approach and Erik's team was able to handle the uneven subfloors with only 3 bags. Three. Unfortunately, this issue resulted in several days delay in the completion of our project, not to mention a lot of additional stress. We wish this hurdle had not happened. That said, we are proud to have not caved under urgency and stress - it would have cost us 13.5K! That said, after consulting quite a few flooring companies - I noticed that each will use different numbers for labor, materials, demo, etc. They also suggest different approaches like keeping quarter rounds on baseboards or ripping them off and attaching new ones. Adding transitions as an additional cost or not, etc etc. Get as many quotes as you can so you understand what is the average price you should expect to pay - they may charge differently, but at the end of the day they have to meet their numbers to pay their guys and still make a profit. Flooring costs more than I expected, and most of the quotes I got were 14-20K for 2 story house around 2000sq ft. (Bathrooms excluded). At the end of the day, we love our new floors. Erik was extremely communicative through the whole process. His team was hardworking, and finished the work before we had to leave on a trip. They were detailed for the part of the floor which met the fireplace, making sure it was flush against the uneven hearth tile. There are barely any squeaks left in the house. They came and resolved any concerns we had. They were flexible with movers coming as they were finishing the last day. All in all, although there was a hiccup in the process, we did have a very good experience with Erik and his team. And, I'm confident he will recommend the spot patching method for leveling the floor for future clients. Thank you for making our floors one of my favorite parts of the house now, Hardwood Plus!

As a homeowner, I couldn't be happier with the experience and highly recommend them. Vitaliy was excellent to work with throughout the process. He communicated openly about costs, risks, and timelines. His initial quote was the most thorough and detailed among all the bids we received (e.g. including a potential subfloor leveling cost range upfront to avoid surprises later on). He was also open to incorporating a written addendum I provided alongside the standard contract so that all project expectations were clearly documented from the start. When a supplier mistake from Shaw Floors delayed materials and forced my family into a longer Airbnb stay, Vitaliy stepped up and helped cover the ~$1,500 extra cost. That meant a lot to us. The crew treated our home with respect, the floors look beautiful, and throughout the project I felt I could truly trust Vitaliy and David's Flooring. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to other homeowners for flooring work.

They gave me a ball park price, and directed me to the showroom. I wanted flooring that matched the other room of the house. I was provided with samples (kind of large slabs), and was free to bring back the samples whenever it was convenient to me. Overall, they were relaxing to work with and not pushy at all. I made the date for them to come to rip the carpet out, and install the flooring. They were able to complete one room in one day. My request was finished within 3 weeks of contacting David's flooring. The additional great thing is that since my floor was already pretty level, the need to level out my flooring was cleared out of my invoice. So, they gave really great estimates. There were no hidden fees or surprises when I worked with them. Overall, that room was about 2k. The convenience and quickness was really worth it to me. Additionally, they removed and reinstall the baseboards which makes the finish much more professional look.

The hardwood floors looked beautiful, the craftsmanship was excellent, and the job was completed exactly as promised. What truly sets Viktoria Flooring apart is their long-term commitment to their customers. Years later, when we decided to rent out the house, we reached out again - and without hesitation, they came back, inspected the floors, fixed everything that needed attention, and once again went above and beyond. Every interaction with Stepan and the Viktoria Flooring team has been friendly, positive, and solution-oriented. They consistently resolve open issues and stand behind their work even years later. The installation process was also highly unprofessional. At that time, the wonderful sales person I worked with on my first order was no longer employed and they have this guy Marlon running the show now. I was candid with Marlon about why I had to redo my floors and needed a new estimate. Marlon was initially very pushy about getting directly involved with my claim even tho I told him I already had a contractor to do the work and I simply just needed the materials. After 20 minutes of saying no to his suggestion he finally gave me the estimate. He quoted me $4.19 claiming inflation impacting the price. Okay fine -- I go get the amount approved through insurance. Insurance approvals take a while so I didn't end up going back to actually purchase the floor until today, July 2025. NOW he's trying to tell me the price for the floor is $5.39. As if the cost of flooring skyrocketed up $2.39 per sqft in a matter of 8 months?! He told me to go back to my insurance adjuster and ask for more money and then it was clear to me this man was trying to take advantage of my claim by gouging the price of the floor. He knew my insurance was a grade for grade replacement and tried to leverage that to inflate what he wanted to charge me. Pure greed. Because how else does a floor go from $3 to $5.39 in 8 months?? Especially when I checked nearby competitors and no one else had raised their prices recently. I did notice that the freshly painted walls had dirty smudge marks all over them... and as I vacuumed up stuff found areas where the carpet had not been stretched far enough, I could see seams, one spot an actual hole, I could feel tack strips on 11 of the 14 stairs, they really banged up the existing trim. They removed and reinstalled 2 toilets and all 3 of the 4 screw caps were missing. So were the closet door tracks (not sure what those are called but they fasten to the floor to keep the doors from swinging). So, I send a message the the associate that helped with the process and I included photos. He was supposed to come out and look at the work on the 21st... He didn't. Assured me he'd get it taken care of... The said he'd be out the next day. He wasn't. I went and bought calk for the toilets and new screw caps. As I was went to work on my toilet, I noticed it was leaking at the base. Snapped a photo - sent it to the associate. He tells me to shut the water off. I already had... ended up having someone come out and reinstall my toilet and make sure it wasn't leaking. The associate tells me he'll be out on Monday (now it's been nearly a week with the jacked up tack strips, flooring, and the toilet issue). Monday arrives and he has another excuse and by that time, I discovered that the guest bathroom toilet was also not reinstalled correctly and freaking moved back/forth. The calking strip they installed at the base of the tub was also not flush against the tub nor did it have any real adhesive to make sure the strip did not allow for moisture to get in between the tub/and new floor. Guess what?! There was water pooling there... So, I remove the calking strip and send a photo to the associate, his response "This couldn't have waited until I was there tomorrow?" I decide to reach out to their corporate office at this point. I sent an email documenting the experience and included photos. Within an hour his boss calls. Apologizes profusely and sends out a different associate to assess the situation. The next day the SAME installers arrive even though I expressed a lack of confidence in their ability to fix the issues. When they arrive I attempt to show them issues and the main installer tells me through Google Translate he does not speak any English. I call the associate who assures he they have the work order and will replace the bathroom flooring, double check that everything is installed properly, and fix the carpet. WELL, they had NO idea they were doing anything in the bathroom... They did restretch areas of the carpet so the seams and holes were not visible. The damaged the existing trim even more, scratched the walls (not sure how they did that), left dirty smudges everywhere. Didn't wear those little protective booties over their work boots and tracked in crap all over the new carpet. So, I call AGAIN. The next day, the same installers arrive. Install new bathroom flooring and tracked toilet wax ring on to the BRAND NEW CARPET. He tried to clean it up with water and when I went back to inspect the area - it looked like he cut out a small chunk of the carpet. They completely destroyed sections of trim in the bathroom and I again had to clean, fix trim, touch up paint... The stairs STILL sound crunchy... Do not use this company. Just don't! Save yourself the stress. It's been 2 weeks! I've worked tirelessly on my home to get it in the best shape possible as I'm planning to sell. I've had to miss work, spend hours cleaning up after these installers, been stressed out by the incredibly poor workmanship and customer service. This was supposed to be an easy 1 day job. I've included a Google Album of photos because there were too many to attach. Now, I'm looking for contractors to come in and give me an estimate to fix the stairs, replace the upstairs trim, and make sure everything is installed properly. I'm a single woman who works her butt off to take care of her home and even though I'm selling it after nearly 20 years - take pride in home ownership and the amount of work I've had to do, I'm pretty sure isn't standard when paying a company to install flooring. https://photos.app.goo.gl/aWL3Q9ngiJQt3tb9A
