I really can't believe how much of a non-issue this whole event was. Driving to Arlington from Fort Worth at 1 pm was more stressful. My issue isn't for work that was done. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 months. I left work early for my appointment and when I arrived, I was told that day was for Orthodontics. I was not called to change my appointment. I had been there 2 weeks previously for a chipped tooth and asked if I needed to keep my appointment for my cleaning and was told yes. So, why did they not tell me then that the time I had booked for 6 MONTHS was for Orthodontics and not cleanings? For the appointment that I had 2 weeks previous, I received a bill for a balance $14.00, when I paid for the service at my appointment. I called them and asked them to credit my account since they failed to call me on my scheduled appointment, and I left work early to go to the appointment scheduled for 6 MONTHS. I was told they couldn't do that. So, I am now getting a new Dentist.

When visiting I understood the stare of my teeth but Dr Klassen gave me hope that we could fix the issues. After the 3rd visit, in the middle of prepping me for yet another root canal, she tells me dentures would probably be my best route. Only after thousands of dollars in did she volunteer this information. I had previously asked her to remove a tooth that cause severe pain and she said she thought she could save that to only be removed a few months later. When I confronted her about this she said she thought she could save it once again. Now I go to get a second opinion about dentures and not only does the denture specialist tell me that in good conscience she cannot remove my teeth for dentures but that a root canal crown that Dr Klassen put in had a huge cavity on it. One of the most recents. I just saw Dr Klassen a month ago and when I asked her about it she says she didn't see it. Not sure how she could miss it since I could see it with the naked eye. Then I saw Dr. Lambourbe, he concluded that I would need to use their third party dentist to remove my wisdom teeth. The problems came with the "outside" dentist and his assistant that come into the office every other week for the removal. The assistants name was Olivia and she had an attitude. I wasn't sure if it was because I decline the additional services, or customer service just wasn't a priority. It was an unpleasant interaction from beginning to end. Before leaving I asked if there was ice I could use and she said I don't know this isn't my office. So when I went to the front to pay, I asked the staff and Olivia said I was just about to get it. Well, I wouldn't know because of your previous response. The paperwork I was given didn't have any signatures for the prescriptions. Then Olivia said I was just about to do that. So then that should have been done before handing me my paperwork. Then the trouble came with filling prescription. I let them know there was issue and if they could let the dentist know. 3 hours go by, no one calls, so I call back. Whoever answered the call was rude, asks me if " I'm in pain?". It was a mess. Then as time goes by I realized I was never given a follow up appointment. So I call to inquiry and the receptionist was like okay well do you notice any pain or discomfort. I said no but I wanted to make sure I was looked at and she says " Well everything is good on our end". I was so turned off. It felt like I was just a transaction, no concern for care. Prior to scheduling treatment, I contacted the office to verify that they accepted my insurance. I…read morewas specifically told they did and that they could not charge beyond what my insurance company would approve or allow under my plan. During that same conversation, I clearly explained that if the treatment was going to cost more than $15,000, it would be completely outside my financial ability and would be a waste of my time to even proceed with a consultation. I was assured that would not happen. Based on those assurances, I scheduled an appointment and was referred to see the endodontist/specialist. However, after the consultation, I was presented with a treatment plan totaling approximately $28,000 -- nearly double the maximum amount I had clearly stated I could not afford. At that point, I requested that the office send the treatment plan to my insurance company because my insurance carrier wanted to review the proposed treatment and determine what charges would be allowed or covered. Before I ever saw the endodontist, the general dentist in the office personally told me she could place my implants herself. Based on that statement, I believed my treatment could be completed directly through her without the need for additional specialist costs. However, the written treatment plan later stated that only the endodontist/specialist could perform the implant procedure, which directly contradicted what I had been told verbally. When I questioned the office about why the general dentist was not performing the implants after telling me she could do them, I was told that she "couldn't place implants with them." I explained that the dentist herself had specifically told me she could perform the implant procedure. The office then responded by saying, "Oh, she can -- just not here." This response made no sense to me and was extremely misleading. If the dentist was not authorized or permitted to perform the implants at that location, I do not understand why I was initially told she could complete the procedure herself. I relied on those statements when making decisions regarding treatment and financing. Despite my concerns and questions about the conflicting information and dramatically increased costs, the office continued repeatedly emailing me encouraging me to "sign up now" and stating that the pricing was "a bargain." Due to the misleading information regarding insurance coverage, pricing, provider capabilities, and treatment costs, I have filed a formal complaint with my insurance company regarding the misleading statements and false representations made during this process.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Charged almost $300 for a tooth evaluation, an…read moreadditional $700 for a root canal on a tooth that could not be saved. I gave one star because they took my money with a smile.
