This dental office engaged in what I believe to be improper and potentially fraudulent billing…read morepractices. I was overcharged for services, including duplicate charges and services that were also billed multiple times to my insurance provider. After contacting my insurance company directly, they provided a detailed explanation of benefits confirming that my total out-of-pocket responsibility was $722. Despite this, the dental office charged my card $1,419.60 -- nearly double the verified amount owed. Additionally, I scheduled my care with a specific dentist, but for my second visit I was seen by an associate due to the original provider's unavailability. Although this change was not initiated by me, I was assessed a $75 "new doctor" fee. Charging a patient under these circumstances is misleading and raises serious concerns about billing integrity. When I attempted to resolve these discrepancies, I encountered repeated resistance. I was forced to make numerous attempts to obtain a refund, and while a partial refund was eventually issued, the office still owes me over $100 based on the insurance-approved amounts. Rather than addressing the matter in good faith, staff refused to engage in meaningful resolution and instead directed me to "take it up with my insurance," despite the discrepancies originating from their billing. The situation escalated further when the office contacted law enforcement and accused me of harassment simply for persistently requesting to speak with a manager regarding a legitimate financial dispute. Following this, they ceased communication entirely and appear to have blocked my phone number, effectively preventing any further attempt to resolve the issue -- including contact with corporate oversight. Throughout this process, staff provided inconsistent and demonstrably inaccurate information, much of which directly conflicted with documentation from my insurance provider. These actions raise serious concerns regarding compliance with standard billing practices and transparency obligations. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against doing business with this office. Patients should be aware of the risk of being overcharged, improperly billed, and denied appropriate resolution when discrepancies arise.

Very attentive and did a great job explaining the situation, and, lucky for me... It's a wait and see sort of thing. So based on today's experience with a consultation, 5 stars! I hope it's a long time before I'm back. Bottom line: Take care of your teeth.

After a year of not waiting to post this I decided to to warn others. I booked an appointment and…read moreshowed up 30ish minutes early and was told they were running behind on an appointment which was fine! Around 2 hours later they could see me. I was going in for a routine root canal, and walked out with emotional trauma and a unfixed tooth which I still haven't fixed because of the emotional trauma I experienced. I was seen by a Dr. A, I explained to the hygienist that I have a bad gag reflex and a hard time with dental work. She was amazing helped me through X-rays and was overall amazing. The dr. did not care and when placing the the clamp shoved a dental block after explaining that I cannot open my mouth wide he continued to shove it, and had no care. The clamp around my tooth became undone, and had to be reclamped and the dr. Clamped my lip I tried to tell him he wouldn't listen finally he noticed the blood. He gave me the numbing shots and told me if I needed more to raise my hand. I immediately felt the drilling in a very painful way. I raised my hand and mumbled I am in pain. Dr. A and I quote told me "your not in pain it's just bumpy" what does that even mean? He gave me another shot because I continued to advocate for myself. I was done with him, I asked the hygienist how much longer this would take she told me probably another 3 hours. Even though my sister and dad had the same procedure done and it only took 45 minutes to an hour. Dr. A explained I was only 25% done. So I left without the procedure done because of Dr. A's actions and overall making me feel like I was dumb for being in pain. I do not blame the hygienist or the front desk lady because they were amazing but not their horrible boss. Dr. A is not listed on the website anymore.

In February I went to the Aledo office for a root canal on a lower front tooth. Dr Yelton did the root canal (for $1,500 WITH insurance), but the pain and sensitivity never went away. Fast forward to August when I couldn't take the pain anymore. Tried going back to the Aledo office, but every time I called, I was told they could only get me in on 2 different dates, but both at 11am. Thankfully (I thought) the Ft Worth office got me in about a week later. After getting there, they did x- rays, decided I needed a 3D X-ray, and had me sign a consent. No co-pay given. Nothing about money. I assumed it was all covered since it was a tooth that their chain had already worked on. Then the Dr came in, said for some reason that the root canal did not take and recommended a re- treat of the root canal. Then he sent the office staff in. Apparently, I had a $710.80 credit from February THAT I WAS NEVER TOLD ABOUT. So the root canal after the credit taken off would only cost another $670 dollars. Without the credit it would have been $1,381. I cannot afford that. I personally think to pay over $2,000 for 1 tooth is ridiculous. So, I told them at this point I just wanted it pulled. Of course, their office could not do that, so they offered to refer me to an oral surgeon. BUT, since I did not agree to the recommended treatment, the office manager decided they were going to charge me for the consult and the 3D x- ray, therefore talking my credit/ refund down to $367. Again, they NEVER told me about a charge for the visit or the 3D x-ray, they actually made it seem like it would be covered! This place is ridiculous and wants nothing but your money. My regular dentist was even very upset when I called and told them, especially since they didn't even offer me antibiotics. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER USING THIS PRACTICE!!
