Called Azion Auto to get my car inspected after having registered it here from California. Ray was very kind and confirmed I can get the NY Inspection. I showed up just before 9am on 4/17 and it took about 35min for them to complete the inspection. Cost $40 and was super easy! If you need services done for your car, would recommend them! read more

Yeah, I paid him to fix my check engine light, he said he had this "specific" tester that checked it from head to toe. Brought him my car, he claims he fixed it. No print out of what was originally wrong which was odd. No lights were on my dash so I figured it was fine, 670$. One week later my light is back on and my car had a little drag to it. Brought it back to him and he had my car for over a month. Me and my dad had to constantly call for updates then he gave my dad a sympathy story of how his bother passed and he's down a guy..right...said he was in contact with Hyundai about getting a new engine...weird. Long story short my car wouldn't even START after bringing it to him and he kept proclaiming that it's nothing that he did, but the car was only in his care...see where I am going with this right? Had to get it TOWED from his shop to another mechanics shop. Mechanic figured it out and got my car running within a day.... This man had my car for over a MONTH. The best mechanic service I ever had! My car broke down in the middle of the LIE from Montauk and my insurance made me go on a goose chase. Luckily, Azion was one of the closest mechanic shops nearby and took my car in while I handle with my insurance agent. This is why I love supporting mom & pop shops. Knowing that we are coming from 3 hours away to pick up the car, they tried to adjust their schedule for us despite having a personal family day trip planned out. Luckily, we figured out a time so they can have the day off. I would take my car back despite being so far away because of the transparency and trust he has established from the beginning. ‍‍ Very rarely do I post reviews but this one? Has to be done. Moving to Suffolk from queens, I needed a reliable mechanic. I went on a goose hunt for a black owned mechanic near me. Being a few exits away & passing dozens of auto shops on the way, I still decided to go to Azion Auto Service. The drive wasn't too bad & I wanted to support my own, cool. The first red flag was when I initially visited with my car concerns. It was making a weird noise & I had to ask Rayshon if he was going to test drive. How are you confidently diagnosing what I'm telling you ..... with no knowledge of it yourself. Okay cool. He drives it, put it on a lift & diagnosed. He gave me a price & needed a deposit which I paid with cash on the spot. He let me know he would order the part & once it's in I can come back so he can repair it. A few days pass & I hear nothing so I give him call. And he said casually " Oh, the part has been here, I was waiting on you". Confused as to how I was supposed to know the part was there AND magically arrange for my car to be there, I calmly set up a day to bring the car in. Said day comes & I couldn't make it. I call on Wednesday to set a new date, he tells me to come on Tuesday. Not Thursday, Friday, Saturday or even the following Monday but Tuesday. Tuesday comes & I'm there bright & early(8am). This man comes to the lobby with a big bowl of oatmeal talking about "it's breakfast time" Mind you, I'm sitting there waiting for him to intake my car, the keys & give me a time to pick up so I can go. I let him know I have work at 3pm, he tells me to come at 2. No problem. Before I leave that morning another customer walks in & he says to him "my guy is feeling sick so he called out, it's only me today" basically implying he might not get to THEIR car but I'm thinking that has nothing to do with me, he's working on my car. I go back at 2 and he informed me his mechanic was sick and never showed up so my car didn't get touched. 1. I guess he forgot he said that in front of me so I knew but if he knew that was the person doing my repair, why not say something at 8am?!? A simple "hey do you mind coming tomorrow, I don't have enough staff today"Mind you all the while this is an issue that gets worse as I drive. So, brushing me off and prolonging the job only makes my car worse. I finally take the car back another day & get the repair done. Do yall know I made it down the block& the car was making the same noise. I call him & he basically said the car was in an accident and there is nothing he can do. Fast forward to 3 months later. The car is still making the noise but it gets so bad that I can't even drive over 40 mph. I take the car back & he starts with the accident crap again then says it can be fixed but it will be a major job. I ask how major & he say $1,100 with a $300 deposit. I ask him to come down to $950 even $1,000 he firmly says no. Guess he forgot all the grace I extended to his lack of professionalism in the past and all the Ubers which added up form me coming and going unnecessarily but he said no, okay..... Fix it. The following day, something told me not to let him do the work. I go to the shop & his mechanic says oh he was going to tell you to trade it in. We can't fix it, first it was engine mounts then a piece of my transmission (which he doesn't know was a new build right after I purchased my car 2 years ago) was broken. This is SATURDAY. They are closed on Sunday so the mechanic told me to come back Monday since Rayshon has my deposit. Do y'all know I go back Monday and the same mechanic (not Rayshon) took $300 out of his wallet & gave it to me. So why couldn't that be done on Saturday? At best Rayshon loves to waste peoples time & doesn't know ish about cars. I realized he doesn't fix, only owns and manages which is cool but when his mechanics are out.... He is useless. Oh, I also took the vehicle to another shop. The first thing the employee asked to do was test drive it. $550 will cover the part plus labor after which I'd just need tires and an alignment to be super straight! The nerve to over charge, have piss poor service & can't even confidently repair. Imagine him trying to get his mortgage payment out of me & fumbled . Pastor or not, God don't like ugly. Safe to say, I gave him 3 too many chances & I'll never be returning & please if you can save yourself the trip & agony? Do so! Take a pick from any shop on Montauk Highway but Azion. read more

Car broke down out of town at 7:30pm, Ray had me on the road the next day at 3! He was honest & fair, wonderful to work with, & cared for my family well. My alternator was out & he easily could have pretended my battery had trouble as well and he did not. Also, I needed new tires pretty bad & he made sure to let me know how important it was and had recommendations for reliable places to grab tires. My front wheel was down to the wires, I knew my wheels were rough but I appreciated him making sure I made it home safe without any benefit to him! read more

It absolutely pains me to have to write this review. Especially after trusting a pastor with my car and the way I was treated. It was absolutely gut wrenching to me. Rayshawn asked me to write a list of what he wanted me to look at. So I did. I handed him the list and without even looking at it cracked the joke "looks like you are paying my mortgage this month". I was put off by the comment, but because they came highly recommended and the reviews were great, I second guessed myself. It took a day and a half for us to get some kind of answer. That is when we decided to give them a call. Everything on my list needed changing and it was going to run about $1,000. When we asked for a break down what each would cost (catalic converter. Belts & hoses.) We were told to call first thing in the morning that they are shopping around for the best price. So we called back the next morning, told them we only had $800 to fix the car and that was whipping our savings. They said well it will be about $1,000 and we need a $500 deposit. That was when I dropped everything and picked up my car. Let me back track and explain why the deposit rocked me. Growing up, my dad worked in auto retail and wholesale. Mechanics have the backing of who they buy their parts from. Not only do they get a credit for the core (the old part) but if someone bails on the job they can return it and get a full refund. So my words of wisdom, if a mechanic asks for a deposit never and I mean never give it to them. So I arrive. On the phone, We were told no work was done on the car. Well that was a lie. They ripped off the bottom plastic thing exposing my engine. Did an oil change with the lowest grade of oil. Even I know, a car of that age needs a higher grade. They changed the price right infront of our face from 105 to 145. We could not get a break down of what the job would cost and go and change the price. As I am walking away. He says if you ever want to get rid of the car, give me a call. Pulling away, I noticed a used car lot on the other side of the building. So I guess the car was not that bad after all... Just days after leaving the shop, I have had nothing but problems with my car to the point just driving 10 min up the road and my muffler just falls off. I can't help but question did they make my car appear worse then what it was just so they can sell it? I will never know! I drove the car who has worked 3 generations on my families car and been in business for 3 generations. I asked him to check the belt and hoses and he said it did not have to be changed and showed me why. Being a spiritual person myself I know the car represents purpose and destiny. So my question to pastor rayshawn, what are you doing messing with peoples purpose and destiny like this? You have been intrusted with a lot of responsibility both physically and spirtually. And treating my purpose, my destiny, my car and my family like this is extremely disheartening! read more

Ok, first and foremost Rayshon is an honest man who owns a business. I have known Ray for 3 years from both locations ; Mastic and Shirley. He is a pleasure to deal with, even when I'm not having my car serviced!! Today 3/21 I developed a problem with my car overheating. I was 40 miles away and desperate for advice. I phoned Ray and he walked me through exactly what I should do. I was able to drive to Azion and had to wait for the car to cool down, in the meanwhile I sat in his lobby and watched TV. This place is excellent, me and family members have been bringing our cars here for inspections and oil changes since it opened up. These guys do wonderful work with no frills, excuses, or headaches! They do work quick and seamlessly. I usually I do not have good experience with mechanics but these guys have been way too amazing not to write a good review about! This shop is near my house and I've never come here. I went to STS and they told me to come here. I trust STS so if they HIGHLY recommended this shop I knew I had to swing by. Rayshon looked at my car for me. He is a nice, funny guy and he gave me a free mask! The customer service is great.
