As always, Dr. Azar and his team provide the best care possible. They address every issue I have with clarity and care. The appointment/reschedule/cancellation process is always smooth. Every aspect of this clinic is top notch: from the easy scheduling process, the BEST dental care, stress less insurance inquiries, and everything in between. Dr. Azar Dental is the place to go. From my first visit to now, the front desk staff have been welcoming, incredibly kind, and always take the time to thoroughly explain any treatment plans, insurance details, or questions I have. Dr. Azar is also hospitable and knowledgeable; he cares about his patients and pays attention to the details. I have been seeing Dr. Azar for a little over a year now, and he has treated me for several fillings and crowns. Every time I visit, he makes sure I am comfortable at each visit, and I always leave feeling well taken care of and confident in the quality of care I received. The entire supporting staff is also just as fantastic--professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. By far the best dentist I've been to, and I've seen over 5 different dentists in my lifetime. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dental team that combines expertise with warmth! read more

Worst dentist I have ever visited in Bay Area! Very unprofessional! Booked appointments months in advance. But when I show up for the appointment, they said it is cancelled. No email, call or texts mentioning cancellation. Drove over 5 miles and wasted whole morning just to know that our appointment slots have given to some one else. Also, beware when you try to cancel, they will charge you for no show indicating their cancellation policy! read more

Azar Dental is excellent. Their entire team is very professional, accommodating, and friendly. They make you feel very comfortable and get to know you on a personal level. I will be returning for all my dental work. read more

Wonderful experience! Dr Azar is very methodical, informative & passionate about his profession. He is an awesome person and probably best dentist i have ever worked with. Dr Bashar Azar clearly explained the condition of my teeth, came up with a treatment plan and provided an awesome care! I have done a crown and couple of fillings so far. Thanks for providing an excellent dental care. I' d like to note that Dr Azars office has strict COVID-19 protocols in place, they were very professional and made me feel comfortable! read more

Cancelled our appointment. Azar Dental, even if you have requested to confirm an appointment with us this does not give you the right to cancel our appointment. You have a cancellation policy, If we did not call in to cancel then it does not give you any right to cancel our appointment on your own. It's absolutely absurd to cancel our booked appointment in less than 24 hours of our scheduled time. Your receptionist called the evening before our appointment and I had schedule that weeks in advance. Regardless of your excuse that it is the holiday season, you have no excuse. We hope you have a happy holidays because we won't be returning to your office. read more

I needed some dental work, and they were able to accommodate and fit me into their busy schedule. From the front desk (Bellma and Mersada) to the assistants and Dr Azar, everyone was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They made me feel at ease and the process was very painless and comfortable. I would highly recommend them and I appreciate and trust them with my dental care and needs. read more

I can't recommend them enough. I started as a patient of Dr. Azar when he worked for another office before starting his practice. He was patient and attentive before and you can tell his attitude is shared by the staff because every time I go it feels like everyone there is part of a family. To give an example, no one was willing to offer invisalign. The orthodontists I met required extraction, surgery and braces but a long wired jaw recovery wasn't an option for work. After the topic coming up a few times, Dr. Azar understood the situation and came up with a way to make do with invisalign and now two years later I have a proper bite and no more tooth wear issues. It took some work but he stuck with it and I couldn't be happier. read more

I've been going to Azar Dental for almost 5 years. I originally came here to get a second opinion after a previous practice that I didn't like gave me some questionable advice. Dr. Azar and his staff have taken great care of me. Their COVID precautions were top notch back in 2021 and I felt extremely safe. I have the utmost confidence that the advice from Dr. Azar and the rest of the staff is sound and in my best interest. I've never had a bad experience here whatsoever and I've recommended them to peers. read more

I have been visiting Dr. Azar for several years and, all I can say is he is great doctor with an amazing team. Caring, friendly, trust his diagnosis and his recommendations. Keep up the great work Dr. read more

I have been a patient and feel more a like a friend after seeing Dr. Azar for the past 5+ years, which makes me happy to give him this very positive review. He has done an extensive amount of procedures on my teeth, some very challenging that other dentists seemed apprehensive to treat.I have been very impressed with his expertise, confidence and compassion. He and his staff have always been easy and extremely friendly to work with in regards to scheduling, insurance, etc. ps. I guess it says a lot, that I actually like going to my dentist considering he is a "dentist" LOL read more

I have had a loose crown on my implant almost 2 years ago which my previous dentist could not fix after several months of consultancy. I was referred to Dr.Azar by one of my friends due to my frustration with the ongoing implant and crown problems I have had for so long. On my fist appointment Dr. Azar provided me my options and a solution plan and fixed my toot the next day with a 40 min proceedure. He just made this whole experience so comforting and smooth that I really wished I had seen him much earlier. I have been seeing him as my general dentist since then. I also very much like the friendly office staff, everyone is very kind in the office. read more

Dr. Azar is a professional - he did various work for me as fillings and esthetic dental care. I always so happy with results! He is also a very good energy person: always positive. I am very happy I found him from others people recommendations and I also recommend Dr. Azar if you are looking for a great dentist in Bay area to take care of your smile :) Entire office stuff is so friendly: if you didn't like to go to dentist before - you will start to like it here! read more

A #1 service and care, Dr. Azar is the most ethical and creative dentist I have ever met. He took the time to present and implement solutions to my particular set of dental issues. He thinks outside the dental box and I have utmost confidence in his ability as a dental professional. His staff is also wonderful, professional and courteous. read more

I really don't like to leave negative reviews unless it is justified. Dr. Azar seems nice and advertises to have years of dental experience. Unfortunately, his dental knowledge is outdated and his dental skills are borderline between incompetence and malpractice. I had serious complications after being treated at his office so I had to go get it fixed somewhere else. My new dentist who fixed his shoddy job told me it was not done right from the start. For another second opinion, I went to a third dentist who was highly recommended and well regarded in the dental industry, he also confirmed that Dr Azar did a crappy job. I will never go back to his office again! read more

Dr. Azar and his team are very helpful and professional. I enjoy being their patient.

Love Dr. Azar and his entire staff. The super kind and helpful ladies who work there always make your experience fun. They are so caring and engaging. Love coming here. read more

Amazing place. Very clean. Belma from front desk helped me a lot for suitable appointment. After appointment she explained what my insurance is covering and not covering. She gave me a lot of valuable advice which I didn't know that before. This is for sure that she knows her job very well. Dr. Azar is so gentle and knows his job. My previous experiences were always bad. I got a crown from my previous dentist and there is a huge gap between my teeth. He will fix that crown later on. I need to replace my all previous fillings and one cavity needs to be fix. I told him that I cannot use Amalgam fillings because of the cancer soar. He told me that he will use composit one instead of Amalgam which is cosmetically better. By the way his assistant lady took my all teeth pictures and x-rays and show me the detail of my cavities and problems. Next appointment he will start fixing them. I will write my experience later on. read more

Exceptionally pleased. I offer reviews of 4 aspects of the practice: Dr. Azar, Facilities, Staff, and Lab Work. 1) Dr. Azar - meticulous. Skilled in all aspects. No satisfied with less than his best. He's kind and funny... which is good for nervous patients. 2) The facilities are brilliantly clean and organized. Teeth are the fore front of health and his offices are a healthy place to be. 3) The staff are a joy. From the reminder calls to the billing. Friendly and thorough. 4) The labs that Dr. Azar chooses delivered crowns that were beautiful and fit perfectly. I have been a patient of Dr. Azar since 2012. Several crowns, fillings, and grafting for an implant. read more

I went to dr azar's clinic today for my wife on the recommendation of a friend. All of my wife's complaints were carefully listened to, slices were taken, and she provided a very high level of interest and relevance. I had not been to a dentist in almost 4 years (sad but true) but I would be happy to go back to see Dr. Azar. He treats his patients like family! He is very informative and explains everything that he is going to do in great detail. He lays out a clear plan for your dental health and really takes on account your concerns and requests. It is obvious that Dr. Azar loves what he does and it shows! I will definitely be back and so will my husband. read more

I rarely write any reviews and I felt I had to write this review and be transparent with my experience at this dental office. I was very disappointed with my experience today at Azar dental during the COVID time we are in. There was no safety protocol whatsoever, the space was open with a patient on my right side and left side. There was about 7 patients in the room with their masks off and no walls or partitions. Only 1 private room and it was occupied. Upon arrival, the receptionists took my temperature and didn't ask any screening questions. They were running late and I had to wait 1/2 hour to be seen. This is not something new. I was put in this position at my previous appointment. I don't mind the wait but seeing the lack of safety is something disappointing. There were patients waiting the waiting room and a couple came in with Starbucks drinks in their hands, inside the patients rooms drinking. Shouldn't there be a no food zone inside the patient area? I had a dentist appointment for my kids yesterday and let me tell you, Little Sprouts dental office in Brea set the bar high with their COVID safety. I felt safe! Not only do they offer private rooms with closed doors, they provided a wonderful and unforgettable experience. When I addressed the safety issue with Azar dental, their response was "our building is old." This should not be an excused, you are responsible for the patients and their safety and you are responsible to make the patient feel safe by providing safety equipment such as partitions for each patient seating area or closed curtains. This office lack COVID safety and it was a let down. I made the right choice to cancel my appointment for myself and my husband and walked out of the office and I will never go back to Azar dental again. read more

This guy is hands down the best dentist I've ever used. His manner, warmth and kindness is epic and the whole staff are amazing. This is the most relaxed, positive and friendly dental office I've ever experienced and all of the work he has done for me (and I've had a fair bit done) has been first rate. I've hated and dreaded going to the dentist my entire life, but I actually look forward to visiting Dr. Azar's office and that's saying a lot. This is truly a one-in-a-million practice--just look at the other reviews. Extraordinary professional. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Azar for over 8 years and he is by far the best dentist out there, trust me, I've had my own share of horror stories. He is very patient, knowledgeable and has gentle hands. Last year when I got my wisdom tooth removed, I was pretty nervous but Dr. Azar made the procedure very painless and comfortable! I highly recommend him and love his new spacious office...will be coming back soon with my wife read more

Dr. Azar maybe calm as a person, but his advice and dental skill failed miserably at calming the nerves of an unsuspecting patient in the long run. I used to see him when he was working at a dental group in Santa Clara. His knowledge and dental skills are outdated and subpar at best. In fact, they're outright dangerous to patient's long-term health. Shoddy dental work aside, he talked me into making the life-long mistake of putting in toxic amalgam fillings by assuring me there's no risk whatsoever in my mouth. I was not even informed of other options or the Pros vs Cons of the alternatives. Over time, I developed chronic health issues as a result. Later I found out from other doctors that amalgam is extremely neurotic and can cause neurological issues, autoimmune disease, chronic illnesses and mental disorders. In 2001, the US National Health and Nutrition Examination surveyed 31,000 adults and found that the number of dental fillings correlated to the incidence of cancer, mental conditions, thyroid conditions, neurological issues (including MS), diseases of the respiratory system, and diseases of the eye. After reading this, Dr Azar might finally come out of the stone age, but it's is too little too late for all the damages already done to his past patients. Ignorance maybe a bliss to the layman, but to a health professional, it is simply unacceptable. read more

I have been treated by Dr. Azar for multiple reasons. He is by far the best Dentist in the Bay Area! His staff are also top. He is very skilled at what he does from the basic cleaning to crowns and even TMJ treatment. The dentist office is never a pleasant experience, but this is probably as close as it can get. Dr. Azar is really patient and gentle and so are the staff. I ha e in the past got bonding, filling, deep cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction from him and I've barely felt any of it. It was the smoothest procedure I could have asked for. I'd strongly recommend going here rather than going through pain some where else. read more

Where do I start? The office makes you feel at home and cozy. The best part of my visits are my cleanings and the hygienist is absolutely amazing. She is kind, gentle and wants you to have the best care for your teeth. Its such a pleasure to see her every time I go in for my check ups. The Dr is amazing too. He is polite, nice and funny too. The front desk staff are great too! Thank you for all you do. read more

Wow how can I briefly summarize my experience with Dr Azar? He is just amazing! From the moment I talked to him over the phone he gave me such hope and comfort. I have to get a tooth extraction from a trauma and I must say it has not been easy to sink in that idea, but Dr. Azar explained everything very thoroughly and all the steps after the extraction. His office is so cozy and beautiful and the staff is just super friendly and amazing. He has top notch dental equipment and is super knowledgeable in his area. He is very attentive to his patients, has great sense of humor and I couldn't tell you how happy I am to have him as my dentist. Just so you have an idea how great he is I drive from LA to Sunnyvale just to see him! I completely recommend Dr Azar! You won't regret it! read more

Just visited Dr. Azar's new office in Sunnyvale. great office, good equipment. Dr Azar is great, he took care of my broken tooth with a crown in a few days. I can not believe how one can make these wrong accusations about Dr. Azar!! I have seen many dentist in my life and have a lot of work done including several implants, root canal, you name it. Dr. Azar is a 5 star dentist, he regularly goes to conferences, attends workshops to know the newest findings and yes he for sure knows what he is doing and will not do any unnecessary work. I wonder if somebody just want to "bad mouth" him? read more

Very gentle an kind. Reviews all possible options of the treatment plan and goes through all the little details.

What a good experience I had at the office of Dr. Azar. His dental office is very modern and supper clean. His dental assistance and the secretary are out standing with their service and people skills. Usually going to the deftest we expect the unpleasant time. However, my visit was a joyful one for the care Dr. Azar showed me and for the knowledge he has in his field. By the way he is so good in giving shots and precise in his diagnose. He loves what he is doing and he does it perfect. Thank you for a wonderful expedience and I will definitely come back with all my family members. read more
