5 star Review I've…read moreworked as a bartender myself, often serving events with 500-1000 guests, so I notice immediately when someone behind the bar is the real deal. Shannon, your bartender, is exactly that. She is high‑speed, professional, and makes an outstanding coconut rum runner -- one of the best I've had. Her energy and skill set the tone for a great evening. The hostesses were also wonderful. When there was a bit of confusion with our order, they stepped in quickly, kindly, and made sure everything was handled. Their teamwork and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. My only recommendation: with the number of guests you're bringing in, please get more staff on board. You have some incredibly hard‑working people, and I'd hate to see them burned out. Everyone should be helping bus, clear, and support each other -- it makes a huge difference in service flow. Then there is Bri in valet, who stands out like a shining star. She has been helping me all week, getting the vehicle ready for my Hospice Service K9s in training. Her kindness, consistency, and professionalism are exceptional. Great job, Bri -- you made my stay easier every single day. The front desk staff has been sociable, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I appreciate that more than I can say -- it's not the same standard up and down the beach at other venues. A few suggestions for improvement: * Elevators: One elevator has been shaking noticeably, and another was stuck/not working. With the inspection due August 1st, I strongly recommend getting someone in to address this. Safety and comfort matter. * Staffing: As mentioned, increasing staff coverage would help maintain the high standard your team is clearly striving for. * A hot tub: This would be a fantastic addition and elevate the guest experience even further. The maintenance and cleaning staff have been all smiles and incredibly kind. That warmth makes a difference -- especially for guests staying multiple days. Overall, I've truly enjoyed my stay. You have some phenomenal employees who deserve recognition, and with just a few tweaks to support your growing numbers, the Crowne Plaza could easily be the standout hotel on the beach.

When making the…read morereservation, I selected "any room", but ended up being assigned a beachfront corner suite with a fabulous wrap around balcony. The housekeepers were constantly on top of things. The front desk staff were helpful and professional. The shuttle driver was helpful and informative. The valet staff never stopped moving and were just the kindest folks. And the manager, brian, gave some great restaurant recommendations. The gym, on the first floor, near the pool, wasn't the biggest, but it had everything I needed and seemed fairly new! Loved it. The restaurant is a little pricier than I'd like, but there's the shop in the corner as well as a Starbucks for other options as well as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and InstaCart. Plenty of nice places to sit and work or wait for folks. Nice and dark out back for the turtles (and the stars!), and the live music was an excellent addition. The sunrise views were unmatched. Beach access and a rinsing station. The only complaint I made was the WiFi was a little slow for working and the power outlet at the desk in my room didn't seem to be working (I reported it on checkout, and they thanked me profusely and sent maintenance up, I didn't report it sooner because there were numerous locations where I could work in this room, so it didn't impact my stay). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming into town, and thanked our client rep who had recommended it to us. This was like the best week of work travel I've ever had.

There was ample free parking. We arrived before sunset which allowed us to see fabulous sights- the airport traffic in daylight, and the sunset which is God's gift after a long day. At night, the airport is a hub of activity. It's a terrific view. If you're interested in sports, they have it available at the bar. It isn't just the atmosphere and view that make this a good restaurant, it is the quality and quantity of food. Like some of you, I traveled extensively during my career. Hotel restaurants were not known for high-quality food. This place is an exception. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, ample amounts, and reasonableness of the prices. The service was excellent. We will return. We recommended it to you.

My husband's slider was pretty good though and since it was the daily special, it came with fries. It was also a reasonable price which made it even better. Plastic chairs are not our thing but the area around the fire looked nice. The drinks were inconsistent, one looked and tasted good, the second one had no garnish and tasted like they also forgot the alcohol. I doubt we'll go back.

We appreciated the interior of this restaurant being noticeably brighter compared to the other location in Vero, which is too dark. This Melbourne location seemed clean with an open kitchen to see the action. We started off ordering a hummus for the table. A couple of the plates they brought out looked dirty and unwashed (yikes!). Also, the pitas were not warm so we sent those back as well. Not off to a good start. Our server Donna was great though, and was fast, helpful and informative. Our orders of tenderloin and chicken kebobs were ok, the steak was a bit chewy. Entrees came with a house salad with lemon vinaigrette, veggies, rice and a bit of hummus.. those were good. I've had better Mediterranean so not sure if I'd return, especially with the dirty dishes. This just wasn't what I was hoping for, but it's slim pickings if you're looking for good restaurants around this area.

Saturday nights around 7-7:30pm they have belly dancers. Our waitress, Kim was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious the lentil soup was tasty in a nice big bowl served with crispy pita. Enough to call it a meal. The shrimp skewers were cooked over an open flame. For dessert the baklava with pistachio and Lebanese tea. They paired very well together. My only complaint would be the rice is a little too buttery. Everything was good though and I will definitely be returning.

Location - This hotel is located on a long strip of white, sandy beach between Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach. We loved that the resort sat right on the beach with rooms facing the ocean which allowed for breathtaking views of the Atlantic. Plenty of shopping and food choices are just up the road from this hotel and the Cocoa Beach area is not too far to the north if you are looking to do anything in that area. Rooms & Building - Rooms are all suites and are spacious. They reminded me of what you would find normally at an Embassy Suites. Each room offered a balcony that faced the ocean and the beach. The style and theme was modern nautical which fit the surrounding area. The room had a fridge and microwave and two bedrooms. The bathroom had a spacious rainfall shower. Amenities - The hotel has an outdoor pool & hot tub and large sun deck with multiple loungers. The pool was heated to a enjoyable temp and the hot tub had good jets. Access to the beach is just a short walk from the sun deck. You can purchase an umbrella and two chairs for $40 a day. Food - Like every Doubletree location, warm cookies are always available whenever you want. We were staying here during Valentine's Day and they offered a fun and creative date night menu. Food was good but it was a tad pricey. There was a pool bar that offered drinks and food. We liked the bucket drinks - great price and strong. Vibe - Easy going beach vibe from staff and customers. No complaints. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - This choice offers a great beach-centered hotel yet it is close enough for shopping, nightlife and food. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, so whether you are looking for a relaxing balcony or a sandy spot on the beach, this location offers a great choice for everyone.

Our room was clean and large with a separated bedroom and had fridge/microwave. Sleep quality was good, bed was soft and comfortable. We were here for some family activities so did not take advantage of the common areas , pool or beach. My only negatives were the water pressure being weak, balcony door is a BEAST to open. It was a little jarring to find the doors to rooms are on the outside (like a motel) so if you are afraid of heights book a lower floor. Lovely hotel and staff (thank you JJ!) and the chocolate chip cookies were very tasty!

Specifically for "The Bistro"…read more Apologies for the lengthy post in advance. We checked in today and noticed that The Bistro was listed as being open until 10:00 PM. Around 8:40 PM, I went downstairs to ask about laundry services and dinner options. I want to note that the front desk staff was excellent -- very kind, professional, and informative. Unfortunately, my experience at The Bistro was very different. When I approached the bar area to place a to-go order for my room, the bartender, Nikkii, responded by saying, "I guess, but people don't normally do dinner this late," while giving me a very uncomfortable look. Considering the restaurant was still open for another hour and a half, I found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional. I then asked if the restaurant's hours had changed from the posted 10:00 PM closing time, but instead of clarifying, she simply stated that I could not order soup because it is prepped in the morning. While I completely understand certain menu limitations later in the evening, the overall interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As someone who also works in the service industry as a bartender, I understand that late-night orders can sometimes be frustrating, but it is still important to treat guests with courtesy and professionalism during operating hours. After placing my order, I realized that Nikkii herself would be preparing the food, which honestly made me uncomfortable given the attitude displayed throughout the interaction. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the front desk staff set a wonderful tone for the stay, and it was disappointing for the dining experience to feel so unnecessarily negative. A little more patience and kindness toward guests would go a long way.
