You can drive south the the entrance and park along the street or one of the small parking lots much closer to the playground. That said, the space is great! It is large and spread out. There is a covered pavilion and lots of other seating in the form of benches. There are 4 distinct areas, with swings in multiple areas. The slides are high and large and there is a zip line and spinning cage item that is a bog hit with the kids. The ambiance with the tall tress brings this playground home for a 5-star review!

There are 2-3 trails around the park but a bit rugged, so I recommend going when there's plenty of daylight. Parking spots are plenty and the park is pet-friendly. There was a bald eagle flying above his beat. Kayakers down below had beached themselves on a sandbar in the middle of the river. A guitarist was jamming and kids were playing in the Sun. The name of the Waller Park Extension game are fields. Several different fields litter the area and I counted at least 4, crammed into this tiny foot print. Parking is surprisingly very spacious and in fact, there's a lower parking lot that's just behind the City of roswell office that you pass to get to another area of the park. Down below is more parking, as well as yet another soccer field. Front and center at the main portion of the park is a nice children's play area, that was being taken full advantage of by kids, and strategically placed near the play area, were benches for parents to sit and watch or just for anyone to sit and soak up the day. Park up keep is very clean and well put together. I didn't see one stray piece of trash, which is pretty cool! There is an aquatic center to the left of the park (if you're facing the children's play area), but i'm not sure if it is affiliated with the park itself. There are no hiking trails here, but my guess is you're not coming here for that, and that's cool. If you have kids, play sports or just live close, this tiny little park is your little secret. If you're looking for a hike, or a monstrous mega park, you wont find that here. Nice, clean, small park with lots of parking that gets the job done. Definitely a fan!

My friend was telling me how awesome it is....and she was right! There are lots of sports fields here and I know Roswell recreation department offers sports classes for kids. There are 2 play structures. One hue one for older kids including a rock wall, huge slides, and other various things. Then a smaller one with the same kind of things on a smaller level. They have several swings including a tire swing and handicapped swing too. There is a pavilion are with lots of shade, and there is good shade coverage from the trees as well. There is also a huge skate park in the back!! Also community tennis courts! This seems like a great park and we will definitely be utilizing it!

Beautiful, rolling green hills and lots of trees. Can't wait to see what it looks like once the leaves have begun to change color for Fall. There was just the right amount of people,…read moreenough so that kids could socialize, but not too many that it was unsafe or people waiting for swings, etc. There is ample natural tree shade on the play area and some covered picnic tables as well. My child's favorite was of course the zip line. I have never seen such a cool feature at a public park. It seemed new and everything was in good shape. There is a trail around the park so you can bring a bike as well and enjoy a ride, walk, or jog. So glad we live close to this amazing park for the kids. PRO TIP: If it is during non-school hours, park at the elementary as it is closer to the playground than the main park parking lot.

This park contains wonderful play equipment (swings, obstacle courses, etc...) for the children. On the other side is a very nice large gazebo area that has lots of table benches complete with three built in charcoal grills for groups, families, and individuals to have picnics or BBQs on/at. Also, there is a nice little wooden seating area just a little bit aways from the BBQ/picnic area. You can also walk a little further down from that area and go onto a little wooden secured platform the hangs just right over the Chattahoochee Lake to see the lake and all it's beauty. There is also a wonderful nature trail that you can walk on with or without a pooch companion to see the beautiful wooded area and all of the beautiful trees there. I absolutely love this park. I cannot comment on the bathroom that they have on and right next to their parking lot as I have never been inside of it. The parking lot is not large, but is pretty decent. There's a private horse farm nearby, you cannot touch or feed the horses, but you can definitely see them if they're out. lots of parking although it can get busy for sure especially when kids get out of school or on the weekends. There's also a large park w/ a walkway in the back with a lake. There's an outer area where people do parties sometimes. on sunny days there's not a lot of shade so be warned: It can get very hot. Overall I recommend going in the morning or on days where kids have school so that it's not as busy and your toddler/kid can have a run of the park. There's also restrooms in the area. It's kept fairly clean.
