Unfortunately, that's when my experience went downhill. They rarely answer the phone, and that same issue seems to carry over to the specialists they refer patients to. I was referred for a sleep study, but no one ever answered the phone to schedule it. I left multiple voicemails and never received a call back. Later, I noticed an insurance claim for a sleep study diagnostic that I never had. I called the sleep office with no answer, so I contacted my primary care office. They told me they would look into it and get back to me, but I never heard anything. My blood work also showed some abnormalities, so I was referred to an endocrinologist. I was told to wait for them to call me to schedule an appointment. Weeks went by with no call, so I followed up. I was told it was strange and that they would send the office a message and have someone contact me. It's now been over a month, and I still haven't heard from anyone. I'm done with this office. I made the decision to take my health more seriously, and instead of feeling supported, I felt ignored and dismissed. It shouldn't be this difficult to get the care you need.

They flew my partner and I out and arranged the hotel stay, which is discounted for CTCA patients. I came for follow up scans and found the nurses and staff to be very friendly and informative. My doctor was kind and thorough. I also saw a naturopath who ordered blood tests and advised me on supplements and diet. Everything is geared to keeping the patient calm and relaxed, and they do a fine job. The facilities are easy to navigate and very clean. The cafeteria food is meh, but decent and affordable. Shuttle drivers were pleasant. I'm happy to say I have nothing negative to report. I hope my future interactions are just as pleasant.

One area that could be improved is communication regarding appointment delays. I waited over 30 minutes before being called back for my appointment, and once I was in the exam room, I waited an additional 15 minutes before seeing my doctor. While my overall experience was positive, I was disappointed that the visit took significantly longer than expected. It would be helpful if the front desk staff informed patients when appointments are running behind schedule. I had to approach the desk myself to ask about the delay. Additionally, while I understand that staff members may need to communicate with one another, there were several personal conversations taking place at the front desk that could easily be heard in the waiting area. Another suggestion would be to better communicate laboratory and bloodwork hours. Patients should be informed in advance that bloodwork and lab services must be completed before approximately 3:15-3:40 p.m. Depending on appointment times, some patients may have to return on another day to complete their lab work. It would be more convenient if lab hours matched the office's operating hours, or if patients were notified ahead of time so they can schedule accordingly. Overall, my visit was good, and I appreciate the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. With a few improvements in communication and scheduling, the patient experience could be even better.

She covered all the bases, prescribing an antibiotic, cough medicine, etc. She also prescribed a medication in case I got a yeast infection from the antibiotics, since I'm diabetic. Since I don't have insurance, she prescribed generics to save me money too. And the cost of the visit was very reasonable compared to if I'd gone to Next Care or another urgent care clinic. The exam room was very clean too! I would highly recommend this Little Clinic, and I plan on going there again in the future if need be.
